FoFII: Discussion - Ander - 11-08-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Vegeta I am thoroughly impressed with the description Raditzu displayed. The use, however, of the word ?cesspools? in reference to solid white eyes was either a complete misunderstanding of the true definition of ?cesspool? or just a poor insert. I didn?t like it. Cut off ?cess.? The powering up of Vegeta and Raditzu was a perfect blend of thought process and physical depiction. Most fight sequences consist of little more than one or two powerful blows as the center focus, but this was a balance of power hits and ordinary m?l?e: not just one crushing attack after another, but actual maneuvering. It?s difficult to produce something original when it comes to a fighting-based RPG. In short, Rad?s first post was a nice piece of work. It seems like all of us are doing the ?Reijin,? reworking the previous post to fit our own point of view before moving on. Veg does it well. I loved your use of simile with the ballet dancer. That was incredibly unique and flowed excellently. You continued to do so. That?s one thing I really like about your posts. It makes it so easy to get inside Vegeta?s head, and the picture is very vivid. Good word usage. I know when I read your writing I?ll always be able to find it, because that?s enjoyable to read. It was refreshing to see things like ?rally? instead of ?volley,? or similar things. I can?t find very many things wrong with yours, and none of which are really worth pointing out. Rad?s closing had dialogue that really supplemented the material. That?s what I like you for?your use of dialogue, and how every word is so appropriate for the moment. The first two posts (yours and Veggie?s) were tremendous build up for the conclusion, which left nothing to be desired. Hard as I tried, I couldn?t think of anything that could have topped it. Aside from a few minor grammatical errors and the like, I?d say it was one of the best fights I?ve ever read. It wasn?t too heavy on the sap, or ridiculously overdramatic. It was two guys getting really into the fight, and then realizing that there was maybe something more, something that they?ve both overlooked. It had resolution that didn?t require playing on heartstrings, which is hard to do and something I find to be a breath of fresh air in this saga, and it also managed to pump the hardcore fighting. My hats off to the both of you. FoFII: Discussion - Sammah - 11-08-2005 Damn Bardock, I really appreciate it. FoFII: Discussion - Kaden - 11-08-2005 Shit... I would have sworn I already replied. Yeah, that was greatly appreciated. FoFII: Discussion - Ruhiel - 11-09-2005 >.> Okay, can I just like, make a post that supposedly happened before Zarbon jumped on the ogre's back? I may or may not flow ahead and move things along once I've done some recapping on Gero's end, but I just don't know how to rp what to do from here. FoFII: Discussion - Burter Jr - 11-09-2005 You can do a flashback if you want, inside a roleplay FoFII: Discussion - Ashe - 11-09-2005 Just to point out to Uub and Kami... You guys realize the power is out, right? A keycard wouldn't work. I"m going to claim in my rp that there is some form of backup, but then it goes out as well. I just watched Land of the Dead, so that should help. FoFII: Discussion - Hellfighter 17 - 11-09-2005 Burter posted say that the power was back. >.> FoFII: Discussion - Ashe - 11-09-2005 Yeah, I see that now. THough it wasn't when they were posting, but yeah. Master map bitches, teh woot. Now to figure out what to do with it. I have to talk to Reb to see about where Gab might be. FoFII: Discussion - Old Dave - 11-09-2005 Oh shit, I thought the lights were just out, not the whole power grid, my mistake =( FORGIVE ME PLEASE...but my post still rocked. FoFII: Discussion - Burter Jr - 11-09-2005 The reason I'm not updating anyone right now is because I need more people to rp before I can, really. I know people don't have much to go off of, but try your best. Yaj, Trunks, and 20 still gotta rp. I promise things will be updated tomorrow at the end of the round, and probably some tonight before that FoFII: Discussion - Android-18 - 11-09-2005 Burter I need to beg of you to extend the time, even just a day. The internet was disabled all day yesterday because we didn't pay 300 for the bilm, and so I couldn't RP, so I lost a day of RPing. Please, please, please can you? FoFII: Discussion - Burter Jr - 11-09-2005 I'm not gonna promise anything, but I more then likely will. Just try and get some rping in before the original deadline FoFII: Discussion - Super Buu - 11-09-2005 Yeah, it seems like people are having trouble in this round... Don't stress, just go along with it and maintain the high standards you've kept throughout the game. :] (Yes, I know I have no room to talk since I'm just watching from the sidelines whilst you folks are sweating up massive posts )
FoFII: Discussion - Android-18 - 11-09-2005 I need to read the RPs... can't stop shaking, I feel like I missed 50 days worh of stuff... EDIT: Can someone cantact me and catch me up...that will help. FoFII: Discussion - Super Buu - 11-09-2005 How far behind are you? Not a lot has happened in round 6 yet, don't worry too much. FoFII: Discussion - Android-18 - 11-09-2005 Last post I read was Bojack's first post. FoFII: Discussion - Ruhiel - 11-09-2005 I guess I'll try to get a rp up soon. I guess I'll have us, like, run into some sort of automated defenses along the way as we go. Where exactly is our little group (Vegeta, Trunks, Bra, Zarbon and me) headed anyways? FoFII: Discussion - Burter Jr - 11-09-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Android-18 Just read the following people's rps: Bardock, Bojack, Raditzu. They all concern A-18. And my posts, of course FoFII: Discussion - Sage - 11-09-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Android 20 Ergh... I have absolutely no idea. Basically we're in an off-limits section of the production facility. None of us really know what to expect, or what, if anything, we're looking for. Feel free to take the story into a new direction should you post, I deliberately left it open-ended for such a purpose. Sorry I couldn't be more help, there. =\ FoFII: Discussion - Ruhiel - 11-09-2005 Eh, you all would you all mind if we just sorta encounter some automated defenses along the way? I'm all out of creative ideas at the moment, so if you'd rather just have it with us wandering around that's fine, otherwise, I'm going to have us encounter some form of resistance, considering it was "Authorized Personnel Only." |
