Jokker - Android-18 - 05-17-2008 Short Bio: Born in a small city on Earth, Jokker was always 'that person'. The one that no-one ever notices in a whole class of students. The nondescript worker that actually made the wheels turn in a factory. The accountant that was handling humongous amount of money, but no-one even knew his name. On his 21st birthday, the nondescript human decided to change his nature. However not much has changed since then, and he has grown accommodated to it. Six months have passed since his birthday when suddenly a robbery takes away his job and former identity, and he gets involved with the robbers unwillingly. Since then he has not adjusted to his new life and is constantly trying to be just in a world where it just won't work. General Description: Standing at a good six feet, the nondescript nontransformer is a very common looking person. He has the ability to look familiar to anyone, because of his awfully nondescript looks. Packing little to no muscles, he looks no better in a fight, however his medium length hair, headband, unbuttoned shirt, and jeans give him an air that shows he's not afraid of fighting, even when he's terrified. His eyes seem to shift colour from time to time, apparently unrelated to the situation at hand, or even his state of mind. In an attempt to leave his former life behind, he changed his name to Jokker, or rather, Jok, as he introduces himself to people now. Even when questioned on his former name, he refuses to speak and claims it is just a common name that no-one needs to hear. After learning of the power of energy, he has attempted to learn how to master it, but has only succesfully created a few attacks, and is still completely unskilled in anything requiring good concentration, such as flight. Starting Moves: Imaginary Punch Strike: The fighter stops and closes his eyes, focusing his energy just in front of his punch, causing a sudden burst of light to emit after he punches thin air, facing either the opponent or an object. The opponent or object, however, isn't affected, and the attack is simply used to distract an opponent for a surprise attack, or to run away, as is commonly used. Zig-Zag Dash: The fighter prepares to run away, focusing his energy in three spots on his back, specifically, lower lumbar, just below the right shoulder, and just below the left shoulder. The fighter then proceeds to run away, throwing out a small amount of energy on each step, dashing in a zig-zag fashion, with the occasional jump. It is a very good dodging technique if used right, but constant use will wear out the user, and eventually cause damage to his legs which have to sustain the effort of the energy besides the physical power of the fighter. Three-way Rush: The fighter concentrates his energy in his palms, throwing out three energy attacks containing relatively weak power, which speed towards the opponent from the front, left and right. The fighter then jumps towards the opponent, and tries to reach him before the energy attacks do. Afterwards, the fighter tries to break his block, pushing the opponent forward so the energy attacks would hit the fighter instead of the opponent. A moment before the energy attacks would hit, the fighter throws his energy out in a spinning motion, causing the attacks to grow in power, and spin around him. Eventually the fighter releases the energy and the attacks hopefully rush towards the opponent. This attack is very energy-intensive if completed, however if the fighter doesn't manage to break his block, or if he doesn't reach the part where he has to throw his energy out, the cost is not nearly as big. Immediate Jump: A very physical attack, that apparently uses no energy. The fighter puts his hand on the ground, apparently preparing, then does an instant jump at an incredible speed. What the fighter actually does is insert high amounts of energy into the ground below his feet and his legs, making the ground explode on jump, and releasing all the energy in his legs at once. This technique is very risky to the user as it can permanently damage his legs. Use indoors may result in broken ceilings and huge bumps on the head for the user. Jok is still unskilled in using this, however it is his most used technique. As such, he has developed very legs, able to withstand most of the effort easily. Nondescript Beam: While Jok is unable to use energy attacks often, upon faced with his past, he will grow angry quickly, and overcome his inability for a moment, throwing a fairly big beam at the opponent. However if the opponent is more than 50 meters away, Jok will come to his senses, and the beam will dribble down to a small orb that travels slowly and does little more than cause a spark. |
