Hair colour/description: Black with the natural 'spikey' saiyan style. It extends down to just above his tail bone.
Eye colour: Black
Clothing: On a casual setting, Deo usually wears a combination of black and teal. Teal undershirt, black over shirt and pants or other such combinations.
In combat, he wears a similar colour scheme with a customized Saiyan armor. Actually utilizing his own armor as a training tool, he has placed heavier weights over his left arm in the form of a gauntlet. It extends from his shoulder down to his wrist with a pair of latches running across his chest plate.
Base of Operations: Vegeta-sei
Personality: As with most pure blooded Saiyans, Deo is fairly aggressive in all aspects of his life. While this aggression may express itself through snide remarks, sarcastic quips, or physical violence is dependent on the situation. Rarely does he take the lives of those he can simply put down, but after being pushed so far, the opponents life is forefit.
Despite this, Deo does have a less aggressive side. Although he can be very laid back, he does prefer to take action before thought and make war before a strategy. Known to go from one extreme to the other in a bipolar aggression, there are very few occasions where he's at a comfortable 'middle point'.
Combat Information
Fighting Styles: Saiyan CQC - Saiyan CQC is a military style taught to most Saiyan warriors. It's style, while holding similar principals, is never the same for any Saiyan who uses it. Mostly because every instructor who's taught it has had their own unique style, and it is encouraged that the Saiyans customize the style to make it unpredictable, even to other Saiyans, in the chance they face another Saiyan in battle, as they have been known to hunt down rogues from the old-Vegeta monarchy.
Physical attacks and techniques:
Shiyudorikiha (Four Homing Power Wave) - Deo's signature, multi-purpose energy attack. The attack is charged in two hands, each one held behind the user's back, palms facing upwards. A mixture of Red and Black ki swirl in either palm, and when fully charged, both hands are thrust forward, each firing out two waves of energy, one red and one black. The attack can have the beams combine into a swirling single attack that explodes on contact, or have upwards of four smaller energy beams, each one weaker then the whole in respect to how many smaller beams there are. IE: 2 beams = each does half damage, 4 = 1/4 damage.
As the name implies, the waves have homing capabilities. When separated, they are faster and have better maneuvering. When a single, large attack, it takes more time to turn and can be difficult to direct. The attacks explode on contact with either the target or the terrain.
Bakuryuga (Explosive Dragon Fang) - An interesting take on the ki blade technique. This particular variation latches around the user's arm, encasing it in crimson energy and creating a large 'fang' that stick out above the knuckles of the wielder. While working like a blade, this move has two significant differences. It can slash through the air, leaving 'rips' of energy floating there that will explode after a set amount of time, and the blade itself can also explode on contact. While this damages the user as well, it functions somewhat like a shotgun, throwing the offensive energy outwards from it's source, damaging the victim far more. (depending on power differences of course)
ChōRikikidan (Hyper power energy bomb) - Raising one hand over his head, Deo forms an orb of destructive ki, about the size of a large person. Thrusting his right hand into the orb, he 'grabs' hold of it, and pulls the weight of the dense attack down, hurling it towards the earth below. Not made to be a penetrating attack,it is made to envelop the enemy and implode silently. A surgical attack used for combat in areas where destroying the surroundings, or making a lot of noise is trying to be avoided.
History: History: A military brat from a military family, Deo's upbringing consisted of eating, sleeping and fighting for the majority of his youth. While his mother was a caring woman, she was also a warrior, bearing the scars of several confrontations with aliens that 'didn't see things her way'. A powerful and aggressive woman, she felt that teaching her children to fight as a way of life simply ensured they would be no one's victim.
His father, on the other hand, was a scientist. A rare breed among Saiyans, to follow science in place of brute force. Despite this, Deo's father was no weakling, he was just one to use is brain before his brawn, save for anything that was on a personal vendetta sort of level. The leading technologist on a deep space station, he, and his entire team were whipped out when the sudden, and possibly artificial, super nova reaction erupted from the nearest star.
While this tragedy did hinder Deo's mother's ability to fight for some time, as with many Saiyans mating is a life time affair and when one dies, the other feels it on an almost spiritual level as it can weaken what many call 'the fighting spirit'. It made little difference though, as less then a week after the news of his father's death, Deo discovered he was an expectant older brother. At 10 years of age, Kol had a sister, and after the 9 months of pregnancy, and the new life that was under her protection, Deo's mother's fighting spirit was revitalized. She was on the front line for numerous battles, beating back rebellions, opposing forces and the odd, if not incredibly foolish, invasion force. This was, until, the Saiyan military was under seige by something far greater then any army could possibly muster.
A creature that could not be fought on any battlefield. It struck the planet Deo's mother was on like a comet, sinking deep within the earth's crust. Within hours it had reached the core, and began to feed off the planet's magma center. Massive mouthed tendrils exploding from the earth's crust like some deformed volcanos began to devour every sign of life on the planet's surface. Animals, plants, even Saiyans and other humanoids. Those that tried to escape the atmosphere were promptly devoured while still inside their ships. Within a day the entire planet was nothing but a floating carcass of death and decay. The remaining military did their best to destroy the planet, and bombarded it with all they had at their disposal from orbit.
All they managed to do was destroy the surface. By the time they had gotten to the core, the creature had formed the remaining magma into a protective cocoon. It spun, faster and faster, and began to spew molten rock from numerous holes littering the surface. It cut through the Saiyan ships like they were butter before shooting off into the depths of space at speeds far greater then any ship could ever hope to match.
After that day Deo and his sister were alone. A boy too young to take care of a child, they were taken in by a mutual friend of their parents until the two were old enough to make it on their own. Deo had taken into the military for a brief time, but it quickly became a misdirected source for his anger after he had achieved a high combat class. Abandoning it in any official sense, Deo only chose to fight when his home, and therefore, what little family he had left, was in danger. Refusing to take the fight to any other planet unless directly threatened, he was labeled as a slacker and a few even claimed he was some sort of insurgent for an enemy military.
When Vegeta-sei was destroyed, Deo was not on the planet. He had taken his sister, and moved with a small group of Saiyan's to a moon based colony in another system, waiting to escape the wrath the military had gained from other species. To be dragged into a fight because of the doings of your brethren was no longer something Deo could risk the life of his young sister on.
No longer bound by any higher powers, the Saiyan pure blood was free to pursue his own means, his own vendetta's and his own interests.
