Name: Yamu
Race: Human. Genetically Modified
Height: 7’0
Weight: 340 lbs
Appearance: Yamu has a very unique appearance among humans due to genetic manipulations done to him as a child. Yamu is completely hairless due to his genetic modifications, even his eye brows and eye lashes are non-existent. His irises are almost as black as his pupils. His muscles bulge in extreme proportion and several veins and arteries stretch out from his body to only be covered by his skin. They tend to pulse when Yamu is under extreme duress or strain.
Yamu never wears a shirt. He wears loose black pants cinched at his waist with a sash. He wears large black combat boots and no other clothing.
In his normal state Yamu’s aura is pitch black and evolves into maroon and finally bright crimson when he reaches Kaioken. Since reaching a trained state of Kaioken normally there are no physical changes when Yamu uses his powerup. In extreme cases when Yamu loses control when using Kaioken he grows to about ten feet tall and his body bulges out to remain in proportion. In this state he is nearly completely out of control, which can sometimes be an asset.
Current character traits: Yamu sees himself as a hero. He realizes he has is stronger then post being in the galaxy and he dedicated himself to helping others with his unique talents. There are several planets Yamu has a soft for.
While being a freak Yamu still sees himself as human. Whenever Earth is in trouble Yamu will come to save it. Since he saved Guru on Namek Yamu swore an oath to act as a knight on Namek’s behalf and help the planet if it is ever threatened. Recently Yamu helped end a civil war on Arlia and proclaimed himself the Guardian of the planet. He set up a planetary police force known as the Regulators to serve his purpose when one on his many adventures throughout the cosmos.
Beyond his hero complex Yamu has a soft spot for mentoring. He is always willing to help out new fighters who have the same outlook on how to use their strength as he does.
Yamu also has a soft spot for children. He was forced to fight in the slave pits as a kid and genetically modified to give the audience a better show.
Techniques: Kaioken (Trained), Teleportation, Body Split, Shape Change, Ki Sense 2
Best Moves:
Eraser Cannon: A powerful beam of ki energy that Yamu fires from his mouth. It started as a useful technique when his hands are immobile but has sense become a signature move on par with other fighters Kamahameha or Final Flash. To perform Yamu cocks his head back and thrusts forward like a snake to fire.
Ki Shotgun: Yamu’s true signature move. He balls his hands into a fist leaving only his forefinger and thumb extended like a child’s gun. After shouting the word ‘Shotgun!’ a blast of ki balls fires from his finger with tremendous force. At close range this attack can rip an opponent apart, at a distance it is useful for hitting a large area without aiming.
Kikou Ha: This is Yamu’s counter-attack. Instead of creating a shield around himself Yamu claps his hands together in front of him and launching a translucent beam of disruptive ki that turns or destroys another opponents ki attack. It takes a lot energy to perform but can shock an opponent who thinks his final attack has been launched or used to save an ally about to get smashed with such an attack.
Ki Bar Master: Yamu forms a bar of solid ki in his hands then can change and reformat the bar into any kind of martial weapon his imagination can come up with.
People:
Android 17: Trained together on King Kai’s planet has built a companionship between the two. Yamu respects the android and sees him as a being apart from Yamu’s old friend Hellfighter 17.
Bardock: Since their epic showdown in the finale of DA ’07 Yamu craves a rematch against the Hunter and sees Bardock as his new rival. Yamu plans to use him as a measuring stick to see if he has reached that next level.
Bra: Yamu fought along side her in Pitch Black but has not seen her in many years since her growth spurt. They are once again meeting though neither knows how they stand with the other.
Bujin: Yamu like Bujin, they fought together in DA ’07 then again in the Pantheon incident on Earth. Yamu views Bujin as someone with potential to achieve greatness.
Burter: Yamu views the azure reptile as a brother and a Brother in Arms. He sees Burter as the fighter who set him on his course as a fighter of universal caliber.
Burter Jr. (NPC): Yamu considers himself the young fighters uncle and has a very possessive attitude towards teaching and protecting the stronger child.
Hellfighter 17: The two have shared many adventures on many planets. Yamu could never really see him as a friend since he is an artificial being but has no problem showing him deep respect.
Minosha: At one point Yamu hated Minosha for his betrayel on the planet Namek with Metal Koola. Over the years the rage filled hatred has cooled to a bitter rivalry. It is no longer his rage for Minosha’s actions but his hate for the evil the Dark Prince embodies that fuels Yamu bloodlust.
Paragus: Yamu fought with Paragus in DA 2007. The Saiya-Jin’s prowess earned him much respect from Yamu who will gladly fight along side him again.
Violet: Yamu sees the purple haired vixen as a kindred spirit, human but with a streak of freak running through her. He hopes their paths with cross once where they are not placed on different sides.
