Something amusing happened today, and I felt like mentioning it here. You know how due to my hair color customers will always make "oh so funny" comments about me looking like the Sherminator or some other grasping so hard at the most obvious thing ever type character?
Yeah, well, right now (and surprisingly my manager hasn't ripped me apart yet for this, though he usually does when I do it) I have a full beard going on. Just haven't wanted to shave lately (though its damn uncomfortable). Not like shaggy or anything, but decent. So my hair is hanging down, I have the beard going on, and as I approach the table I hear this chick turn to her boyfriend and laugh "Omg, you're right, he does look like Chuck Norris."

Thanks? I uh... There's so many things wrong with that comment, but ANYTHING better than what I usually hear, so despite how reaching THAT one was, I'm damned thankful for something new. Should I be (despite not liking the joke series for the most part) honored or something?

Let a friend talk me into going out drinking last night but since my wife needed to be up early (and I just didn't feel like getting trashed to be honest) I only drank a bit, enough to have fun.
In order...
1- Tootsie Pop/Roll (I think its like Red Bull + Hideous or something to that effect, another bomb style drink)
2- shot of Tequila with salt and lime, not sure what type. Usually not a fan of that stuff, but surprisingly this kind didn't actually bother me at all, not even getting a facial reaction.
3- H-bomb, another Hideous based shot.
4- Jack and Coke.
5- I can't actually recall what that other thing was, I kept trying to ask but couldn't really get answers from people and finally just ended up socializing with some friends I hadn't seen in a while.
And specially for Sage, I had a bit of a friend's Malibu and Pineapple Juice, since she wasn't a fan.
Very tame, but just enough to have some fun with. I wasn't actually in the mood to even go out really, but I don't want to look unappreciative either so I just sucked it up and went.
