[C&C] Ander - Ander - 03-04-2010 Well, apparently people actually read my stuff, so I suppose I should have one of these up here. Which, by the way, I completely appreciate anybody who takes the time to read my material, even more so if it's on a regular basis; I consider that the highest compliment that can be paid to a writer here. I won't turn away any feedback, whether it's positive or negative, and I will accept it for any of my cumulative threads or individual role-plays. Basically, I'd like to hear about anything I write, if anyone is willing to take the time to do so. Additionally, anybody who gives me feedback, I will gladly come out of my C&C retirement to do so in turn. I keep an active list of my character's storylines in my Character Biography, but I'll go ahead and list them here, too:
[C&C] Ander - Kaden - 03-04-2010 I really wish I had something... useful (?) to say? Ander's a great character. His bravado and unrelenting machismo are nice to read. The character, however, isn't shallow. There's a lot to the way he's changed throughout your RPing and the way you slowly peel back layers of Ander (not to the reader, obviously, but to the characters around him) make him and his interactions very engrossing. You have a great handle on Ander responds to just about any situation and his reactions all flow very nicely. Nothing is really ever jarring or suspension-breaking. Your writing itself is well crafted and has great flow and word-choice and is always presented in an entertaining manner. You general show good attention to smaller details, describing, for example, how Ander goes about using Metal Binding to change a license plate, instead of just telling the reader it was done. Speaking on a more personal level, I love the interactions between Kaden and Ander. They can serve as anything from simple humor to fairly deep commentary on virtually anything (be it canon or not) and still be totally in-character. No idea what the future will eventually bring for these two, but for now, the dynamic between them is both fun to read and enjoyable to write. [C&C] Ander - Alexander Trafford - 03-04-2010 I'm assuming that by now you've read my PM in regard to 'Refrain.' I have read everything except around half of In a Grain of Sand and Taking Action, so i'll have more feedback for you in a short while. You already know how highly I think of your ability to write character interactions, and because of this it is highly probable that I will, without warning, force you to interact with Alex (probably not, but it would be an enjoyable experience). |
