Gonna try just winging a character instead of planning out story lines then having no desire to copy it all on the screen...

Bio:
An arrogant and condescending individual, Rafael had a hard time tolerating a role of servitude in any kind of job. Hearing of immense tracts of land being sold on the planet Arlia for agricultural purposes, he invested nearly all of his money into purchasing a massive plot in the least desirable sectors, well aware of the fact that the land sales were a scam with the earth being by and large unusable, causing now-broke saps to trade back the land to the Arlian government for a ticket back home.
After hearing nothing from him for several months, the authorities visited the area, expecting to find a corpse and equipment they could sell to the next dupe. Much to their surprise and outrage, they found acres upon acres of vibrant, valuable plant life, with the new owner seemingly doing no work to achieve this success. Sensing trouble, and with no desire to offer his abilities to likely slavery, Rafael managed to convince the officials that he would present his methods the following day, and quietly booked transport off world.
Arriving back on Earth and expecting to protected, the young man was horrified to be told he would be handed over in an effort to improve relations between the planets. Naturally displeased, he attempted to again flee only to find himself on the no-fly list, forcing him to use much of his remaining profits to procure passage aboard a dilapidated private ship. The owner was headed to Namek in search of some set of mystical artifacts the planet was said to hide granting the bearer of the full set any wish, however, Rafael paid little attention. His intent was to lay low for a while on the relatively backwater planet and hope the incident would blow over eventually while he planned another method of becoming sufficient enough to be subservient to no one.
