Ki Formula Comments - Vegeta - 08-29-2004 Comments, but not complaints. Just because I don't want 5000000 threads about it. =( Ki Formula Comments - Android-18 - 08-29-2004 ...? About what? Ki Formula Comments - Orion - 08-29-2004 I think it's the best idea you've ever had. =\ Except creating UD. Ki Formula Comments - Android-18 - 08-29-2004 What are you talking about >_<? Ki Formula Comments - Raditzu - 08-29-2004 It wasn't his idea, actually. And UD is just as much my idea as his. =/ Anyway, if you're confused, go to train, and then look at your ki. Ki Formula Comments - Orion - 08-29-2004 Quote:Originally posted by Raditzu I'm sure I said somewhere that you two are the same person, so it doesn't matter. =P The idea is that: to be able to use your strength at his maximum, strength and attack power should be reasonably close. The same ideology is applied to speed and stamina, and defence and recovery. The more these stats are proportionate to each other, the more stable your ki level is. At least that's my spin on it. I'm sure Raditzu will correct me. =\ Ki Formula Comments - Android-18 - 08-29-2004 Go push train. It's your ki that will change. Ki Formula Comments - Raditzu - 08-29-2004 Actually, there's not much to correct Goku about. Yes, the ki formula was changed. What Goku said is the general jist of it. Ki = your overall fighting ability. If you're body is balanced in certain ways, then it works better. Ki Formula Comments - Raditzu - 08-29-2004 They will probably drop down, yes. Will they drop below you? Hell if I know. Guess you'll have to wait until they train to find out. Ki Formula Comments - Minoshia - 08-29-2004 I dropped 27,000 Ki.. goddamit lol Ki Formula Comments - Android-18 - 08-29-2004 You just like it because you are new and had equal stats to begin with. I dropped 300,000. Ki Formula Comments - Old Dave - 08-29-2004 So is every thing = now in the way ki is put into per point Ki Formula Comments - Vegeta - 08-29-2004 Your stats do not have to be perfectly balanced, just close, those with large gaps in their stats will find their ki dropping. And Raditsu, your idea, my idea, a combination of our ideas. I don't remember, but it's pratically the same thing. *shrugs* Ki Formula Comments - Bardock - 08-29-2004 I dropped down 9,250. I actually think this is a brilliant idea (or combination of ideas) that makes more sense. If you're fast, but don't have enough stamina to sustain long periods of expended efforts, speed is useless. Strength combined with Ki makes for more effective attacks. Defense with an equal recovery means you can take stronger attacks and still turn the offensive easier. I'm sure I'm just babbling obvious information, but I thought I'd share my appreciation. Thumbs up to Rad and Kuura! Ki Formula Comments - Kami - 08-29-2004 Someone trained for me...wtf O_o Ki Formula Comments - Vegeta - 08-29-2004 Quote:Originally posted by Spice That was pretty much the idea, I'm glad it makes sense to someone other then us. =D Ki Formula Comments - Burter - 08-29-2004 I went from #8 to #13 -.-" I wont comment. Ki Formula Comments - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 08-29-2004 I like the idea of the balancing thing but I hate this...I don't know how much ki I lost... Edit: About 50, 000...that sucks.. Ki Formula Comments - Vegeta - 08-29-2004 Lots of people are going to lose ki, so I would expect some to fall below you. I wouldn't evaluate the changes until after this week's training. Ki Formula Comments - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 08-29-2004 I just really don't like the huge ki drop although I do like the ki formula making stats dependent on other stats. That makes it more realistic because if you cant use your speed for a long time you will be slow so put some in stamina and stuff like that... |
