Orientation - Krillin - 03-31-2005

For the ?Obstacles?, we?ll need a little something for them to roleplay about in between the checkpoints (in other words, during the Legs). They don?t have to be insane, and they don?t even have to be that specific. Your Job is to basically provide a little nick of a story, and let them build off of it as they see fit.

To be honest, they don?t even have to be tangible obstacles. It could be something like: ?In the coming leg, you?ll run through a village of gawky-eyed boys. Whatever you do, DO NOT talk to them. They will immediately latch themselves onto your back, start eating your hair (if you have any), and scream wildly in your ear. Should this happen, you must spray them in the eyes with pepper spray. As it happens, we have a surplus right here.?

Something simple like that. I know this is a bit awkward to put together, but the necessity of it is easily seen. We?ll need something by tomorrow night.

As it works, tomorrow night is also my last night active in this Task for awhile, sad to say. Until then, you both are taking the updates. PM me if you have any specific question left, as I know I?ve undoubtedly missed something.

Orientation - Tobias - 04-01-2005

I got detention yesterday and my parents are pissed. I cant be caught on the comp. Ill try to get on around 8 tonight though if I can sweet talk them. Otherwise it'll have to be after they go to sleep. Heres what I managed to whip up just now for an obstical. Got to fly.

Two burly Ogres bar your path. Thier dull eyes dart left and right searching for any who dare to pass them. They are similar in looks and size, nearly 8 feet tall and almost as much wide. The one on the left digs his ham-sized fist into the Jumbo-edition Crusty Crunch bag of potato chips and scrounges the bottom of the bag for any crumbs left behind before tossing it to his feet, leaving it rest amongst the countless other bags cans and boxes of assorted junk food. He then reaches up and plucks a doughnut from his horn, were several other sweets are speared for safe keeping. The Ogre to the rights gaze seems unfocused. He sways gently from side two side, as if he's dizzy. Then you notice huge mug in his hand and the keg to his side and know precisely whats up. Drunk on the job. Perhaps you could deftly creep past them, or you could strong arm your way through. Either way you will have to nab that badge resting on the right Ogres keg.

Looks good.

Alright guys, I'm leaving in about a half-hour. On Wednesday, I'll stop in and see how everything's running, but I'm leaving again on Thursday.

Submit the second opening post in the topic: "Krillin's Task" when you feel it's time to. Instructions are given in the topic for the members of the saga. When updating something, just give a standings in order of roleplaying ability, 1st being the best. I'm not entirely sure how we'll give the Obstacles to each person, but perhaps through PM? Or, more reliably, we could just slide them into their topics.

Sorry I've got to go guys, but it is my junior year. While I'm gone, I'll put together some obstacles to submit on Wednesday (hopefully).

I have every confidence in both of you that this saga will be successful. Until Wednesday, then. Cheers.

So...are we ready to release the second post yet?

Orientation - Krillin - 04-05-2005

Heh, interesting one there Pan.

After doing some thought, I've added some more instruction in the opening post. We'll submit the obstacles after the announcement that each Leg has begun. The Obstacles will be posted separately in each member's topic.

If there aren't any problems, we should submit the post tonight if possible. We need to get the ball rolling, folks.
