My computer has been giving me problems when trying to run KOTOR, basically I've been getting bars criss-crossing the screen while playing as well as huge blotches of color randomly appearing. After downloading a patch, it says it's not able to run because of the "OpenGL" and Video both aren't up to speed. I could do something for the Video, but I need a better 'drive' so the download would be compatable with the computer itself.

...

Now I'm writing this now because I have no fucking clue what they are trying to say... kinda hoping Burta would have a little insight but there also so many others who can help out there, and I need that help... need it bad... Here's what it says specifically in the SWKotOR System Information requirements that I'm having trouble with.

Video o Failed - NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS/GeForce2 Pro 64MB
Your current video card drivers are out of date
NVidia cards require Detonator 45.23 drivers or better

OpenGL o Failed - NVIDIA Coperation - 1.3.1
Required: Non-Windows Generic OpenGL 1.4.0 drivers

Please and thank you for anyone with a little insights on what I need to do.

Koola beat me to it.

;_;

Anyway, both KOTOR and KOTOR2 have tons of documented graphic problems. Not sure what the deal is. I get plenty of them myself on those games, and my graphics card is a beast.

If updating the drivers for your current video card doesn't work, I would suggest Google-ing something along the lines of "KOTOR graphic problems" and see what you come up with. 90% of the time, for problems like these, you can find at least a couple message boards full of people trading solutions.

Best of luck.

*Has KOTOR and Halo already*

Screw a piece of hardware I'll only use for a few games.

I'll be away downloading myself into a new line of proficiency, thanks much for the help.
