GENERAL INFORMATION

His name is Burter. The origin of the name is unknown. Burter was too young to remember his mother before she passed away, and so he'll never know why he given the name.

Burter's race is called the Reptilians. They are a result of humans reacting the atmosphere of his home planet, Home of Reptiles. After thousands of years of evolution, the humans became half man, half lizard hybrids. The saiyan race took the planet over, and ultimately destroyed the planet after a rebellion. Burter, and his son, Burter Jr, are the last survivors of the race.

The Reptilians reproduce asexually, and thus lack genetalia. They mate by using ki and skin from their own body, and literally melting a new life off from their own body. This happens under a full moon, and can only happen up to twice in a Reptilian's life, at very specific points. Reptilians are born for the sole purpose of reproduction, and this stage cannot be ignored. Burter is still due for another child, but even he isn't aware when the next time will come.

As an extra note, Reptilians are naturally gifted swimmers. However, after being in the water, the body will shed it's tainted scales. This process can last up to 12 hours, and is quite disgusting.

Burter is tall, yet skinny. Despite his slender form, his physical form is very muscled and build up thanks to long, rigerious hours of training. When he uses the techniques Spiritken, Kaioken, or Super Kaioken, his appearance changes. See technique section for more info.

His fighting style matches that of Judo or Kickboxing. Though he packs quite a punch in both strength and speed, the biggest asset is his ability to rise after taking an attack. This Recovery ability that Burter has learned is quite handy in taking damage and returning for more.

Personality-wise, Burter is a natural lone wolf. He was raised on his own, living as the protector of a namekian village by choice in exchange for shelter. Self-taught in combat, he eventually used his abilities to chase off a band of invaders. In this episode, he met the girl Bra, which is what sprawled him into a remarkable journey that took him through adventure after adventure, both alive and dead.

After the last Friend or Foe competition, Burter sacrified himself after the realization of the friendships he made in his lifetime. Seemingly dead, he returned to look after his son, Burter Jr, who he gave birth to on the Grand Kai's planet during his training there. He is now retired and lives a peaceful, but boring, life wandering around.

RELATIONSHIPS

Below is a list of character Burter has formed a relationship with. Those who are inactive, or have changed characters, were ommited.


Burter Jr: Self-explanatory. Burter never wanted a son, but when the 'Red Moon' arised, his Reptilian urge took over and he had no choice but to give birth. Afterwards, he felt a strong parental happiness and spends every free second thinking about the active child. He'd do anything for BJ.

Bra: Burter's little sister, but by love, not blood. She's the flint that sparked the fire inside Burter's heart, and triggered the events that turned him into a changed man. Though they haven't met in some time, Burter would do anything for her as well.

Raditzu: Burter's 'rival', so to speak. Though the two will never be best friends, or buddy-buddy, they share mutual understanding and respect for one another. Burter has named Rad the Godfather of BJ, who lovingly refers to him as 'Uncle Rad.' They haven't spoken since Burter's supposed death.

Eighteen: Met briefly, as spar buddies and as allies. The two share mutual respect, but nothing outside that. They haven't seen each other in ages.

Hell Fighter 17: Former companion on a quest to find the dragonballs on Vegeta. After an explosive battle with a saiyan female, Burter fell and was defeated after his first trip to the ultrapowers of Super Kaioken. It was his failure that sparked his android friend's RAGE upgrade, who would go on to avenge Burter. They haven't seen each other since.

Yamcha: The only warrior Burter has spoken to since his disappearance and "death" in Friend or Foe. The human seems kind-hearted, and Burter has already felt a small bond form.

TECHNIQUES

Spiritken: The first technique Burter learned through difficult training. He trained with the calm namekian Charango on Namek in order to harness the power locked away his spirit. He re-lived the events of the first Friend or Foe that led to his elimination, however even with the second chance, he still found himself giving up his life, showing you can't change the past. In this form, Burter grows a green aura and is given a power boost of x20.

Kaioken: Burter learned this while training with King Kai after his death in the events of the first Prophecy's Child. He left after he first harnessed the ability locks inside his heart, and returned to complete his training a few months later. In this form, Burter grows slightly and his eyes glow more fiercly. It is topped with a crimson aura and a boost of x25.

Super Kaioken: The Grand Kai sent Burter into the past where he experienced the downfall of his race at the hands of the saiyans. He fought an image that looked like his friend, Bra, and managed to learn the ability that gave him an ultra power. He gets much bulkier and gains a stronger aura, with a power boost of x40. In the end, he won and gave birth to Burter Jr.

Kai Kai Teleportation: Burter isn't sure how he gained this ability, but he definetly uses it as much as possible. With this, Burter can travel instantly to anywhere in the universe, provided he's been there before. As of now, Burter hasn't been to Mercy-Sei or Hell.

Venemous Ki: Burter has always had Venom Ki, as it is an inherent trait from his people. However, he didn't know he had it until recently when he released it on somebody by accident. He's still learning it, but using it, he can slow down oppenents significantly.

Pyrokinesis: Burter can shape fire and make it bend to his will. Again, he's unsure where he gained the ability, but has suspected it has something to do with the unlocking of his spirit and heart in the ability Spiritken and Kaioken. He's still learning how to use it.

Ki Sense 3: Self-explanatory. Burter has learned how to sense other people, and since has been able to pinpoint their locations and point out familar readings. He still uses a scouter though, just for the sake of it.

BEST MOVES
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mesenko: A simple over-charged ki blast which erupts on impact. Nothing more then a distraction move to buy time.

Big Bang Attack: A large one-handed blast that causes a much larger explosion upon impact then Masenko. Used to signicantly harm an oppenent, as it's considered a very strong move. The downside is that it isn't very accurate.

Final Flash: A quick charge from both hands, and both hands slaming together, makes the considerable attack Final Flash. It's very difficult to dodge, and does significant damage, but is never enough to finish someone off.

Kinetic Light: A simple ki shield with a cool name. The bigger the shield, the weaker it is.

Kinetic Fury: The same as Kinetic Light, except that it can be used a rubber band and push back an attack to be used as a counter. It also harms Burter, however.

Kinetic Destruction: A self-destruct mechanism. Used only once, when Burter killed himself in Friend or Foe II.

Burter has two more moves that have not yet been introduced.
