Has Never Played Minecraft
#1
So, like, if I started playing this here game, would someone be down to help me figure out what's what?

Cuz I've heard it seems really easy but is pretty deceptive about that. Tongue

Plus I'd love to get in on Josh's server thingy and help build us a zombie-proof fortress or whatever.

That place is basically where I learned all of the important things about minecraft. It has a lot of instructional stuff and it can answer pretty much any question you have once you realize that it's a question.

The game just takes a lot of trial and error, asking questions and experimenting, which is why it's so fun! FINDING stuff is a lot more rewarding that looking it up or having it handed to you in this game.

There is a definite learning curve though. Things like at what levels to dig for ore at, how to do redstone circuits and other fairly complex crap like efficient layouts for crops etc, all of THAT kind of crap... just look it up lol. Youtube has a shitton of weird people that can build hidden piston doors in under a minute with crazy good teaching skills.

When you understand this crap, you have learned all I'm not going to teach you. >_>
