Make a decision and live by it. Taking back your words, and living through regret for "what could have been" never helps. Everyone thinks about what could have gone differently, and there's nothing wrong with it. But, if you continue to dwell on it, and think about what could have happened, and regret the decision you have made, it will only consume you. I honestly wish I could say that I don't speak from experience.

Don't regret the choices you make. We play the hands we're dealt. If something goes wrong, or you make a "bad" choice, learn from it and take something away from it. Grow and learn from the things that you would otherwise regret.

EDIT: Yeah, so to answer your question: No, don't go back.

Well, yes, I've questioned serious relationships I've had. Its well noted, that all of those relationships ended up not working out.

I've never questioned my marriage with Tami. I'm sure one day I will, but not anytime soon. And thats why this relationship in particular works so well.

In summary, if your questioning a relationship, thats normal. If your crying all the time and continue questioning it, you need to find the problem, and fix it. Cause a relationship should not be like that

I was in a serious relationship for about a year and I was very committed to her. Then one day she broke up with me, without any explanation. I found out later she'd been cheating on me, and I wondered how I could have been so stupid. Dwelling is not good for your sanity. Review what happened, find the life lesson, move on. If your head is stuck in the past, you won't be able to see your future.
