Personality
Normally friendly, Trunks tries to make ties if he can. Being in this competition, however, has brought out the guarded trait of his personality. He is serious and straight to the point, and will not mess around in battle, even if he feels he's dominating. He'll use only the power needed to do the battle, but as soon as he knows there's a power discrepancy in the opponent's favour, he will immediately power up. He favours SSJ.
He can be overconfident, but usually realises quickly and corrects it.
Possible Reactions
Trunks dislikes the competition that he's been forced into, and thus has a short temper. Anything that could vex him will most likely vex him. If Trunks needs to team up with anyone to win a battle he will. In fact, he hopes to actively seek out his alliance members or his sister for safety in numbers.
He doesn't want to be fighting to the death with complete strangers, but he's definitely taken on the mantra of 'kill or be killed.'

Fighting Style
Trunks favours power over speed. He'd rather pack a lot of energy into a ki attack once than do it several time with less power. He also loves using the landscape to his advantage, planning traps if he can. Once in battle, Trunks is aggressive and offensive, who rarely lets up in his attacks unless it favours him to slow down. For the most part, his attacks are random and sporadic. He uses the attack that seems to be the best fit for the situation.
Although he uses more power than speed, that's not to say that Trunks isn't fast. He knows he is, and will utilise it when it needs to be.
If he can at all, Trunks will play mind games with his opponent to drop their morale and take advantage of it.
Trunks'll basically use SSJ in every battle, whether it gives him a huge advantage or if he needs to to level up to his opponent. He doesn't want to take any chances.
Before every battle, Trunks will always remove his blue jacket.

Eligible Abilities
-Fusion: Although Trunks hasn't discovered it yet, his Potarra earrings still retain some of their original power. By attaching one of the earrings to another person, he can fuse bodies with that person, resulting in a massive increase of energy of the fused person. Because Trunks is a fusion himself, and the earrings were used on him, the power they wield is limited. The fusion only lasts half an hour, and it needs an hour to replenish its power. (Can only be used with another character who has the fusion technique)
-Body Split: A technique imparted to him by his mystical fusion, Trunks can split his body into two or three separate bodies, all controlled by one central telepathic mind. This can give the edge of outnumbering a weaker opponent, or just for kicks.
