So, what do you guys think so far? I think he'll be fun to play, personally. I just hope I'm not playing the old "If you're big you're stupid" cliche too much.

The thread

I forgot this, but do you think that the moves are overpowered, underpowered, or just right?

Personally I think 80% of the power he copies in copycat is a little too much, considering the fact he can't do it right, and can't manipulate ki conciously.

And how does he create the toys if they aren't ki?

You're making him just like Lenny from Of Mice and Men, and I love that book.

I'll be all for reading a Lenny type in DBZ.

(Why didn't I think of that? Sad Than again it'd be hard to do with CJ considering he's only about 4'7")

They are, but he doesn't conciously do it. As in, he's not like: "I'm gonna make an energy ball now," and there it is. His imagination is the focus of his ki-abilities, so instead of the example above, he'll say: "I wish I had a toy," and his subconcious mind will give it to him.

Edit: Nevermind me. I just like to think I'm the center of attention.

In all honesty it seems like a humanized version of Majin Buu. (When he first got out of his chamber) So I can't say it's totally original, but it might be fun to read later on.

Roleplaying alongside a character like that would be a bitch. =(

Hehe! Yeah... I like Fat Buu.

And it shouldn't be too hard to roleplay with. Just think of a younger sibling, cousin, nephew or niece about 5 and you'll get the general idea.

<_< I'm not good at roleplaying kids. Basically, I'd do:

Spo skids across the ground and, tears welling in his eyes, looks at his opponent "You're mean!" he proclaims, rising to his feet and holding his skinned elbow to his chest. "I'm telling!" >=O"

There ya go. I helped.

"George, can we tend the wabbits?"

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

Oh my god. Me and my friends used to parody OMAM so much, since we had to do a shitload of work on it. Lenny = badass. You just need someone to act as your George now.

"Dammit Spopavitch, what'd you do that for!?" *raises hand*

"I'm sorry Yamu, I didn't meanda kill 'em" ='(

Badass change, though you might find it difficult to give him depth. I know Kibbles said that roleplaying a non-speaking, feral character was a lot harder than he'd expected. But hey, you can always change his personality if you get bored. Wink

It's not so hard once you get used to it. In fact, I'm beginning to prefer it over the more standard and MUNDANE back and forth that is the spoken word. Not being able to speak opens up avenues of pure expression that would be otherwise closed, ways to show what the character truly feels on an internal level and represent it in the external.

So like when he wants to say 'good job' to Violet, he slaps her on the ass. Or when Super Buu pisses him off, he farts in his face.

It's really a step up in communication.
