Guides
#1
Some recommended reading. I highly recommend that when you get to 30, go to http://www.wow-pro.com/node/600 and follow this guide through the levels. It levels through questing and tells you when you should go do instances and stuff, and there are more guides from the same guy after it. Having dual monitors helped me alot, and it helped me level extremely fast, so I DO highly recommend it and will apply it to all my characters.

Before 30, just look around.

I would also like to add this link to help those in need.

http://www.thottbot.com/

It's an all around great source of information on various topics ranging from quests to npc's, professions and classes to item information ect.

You can "regurgitate" info that you read and convey that info in your own words to us, as that is simply information about the game, but you can't actually copy articles from a pay site. Its something we run into with the Magic: the Gathering sites. Some of the strategy sites that you can get a paid account for certain articles... People tend to try to copy/paste those on free sites so their friends can read, which is illegal. But they are allowed to basically reexplain and discuss it and show the decklists and stuff.

I had a feeling about that.

But I could easily re-word and change parts.

Just think of it this way. If you take something your friend writes for a class essay, and then basically "copy" the essay for the same teacher in the same class knowing that she's going to compare your work between two obvious friends, exactly what changes in writing style would you need to make to keep it from being considered "copied" and "plaguerized" work?

For those finding it tough to level 1-20, plus great rep grind.

So, since you know horde rocks, you roll a troll (fux yeah). Really, I only play Horde, so this is a Horde guide, but the idea is basic and can be used for ally too.

You start in valley of trials, do all the quests but try to be selective. You see boars at level 1 or 2, take out the lower leveled ones. You have to try to keep your level low, in order to do the quests as they turn green.

Anyway by the time you finish in your starting area, you should be level 5. Great, so, get on your shoes and start walking to Mulgore.

The starting area is far west, just follow the path. You'll want to do these quests, again be selective with the level of the mobs. You should be 7 or so once you finish there. Now you should have picked up the crossroads and camp T flight paths, so head over to thunder bluff and fly to cross roads, or if you can to Ogrimaar.

Fun stuff, you're heading to the eastern continent. Catch the zep, and start running to deathnell. It's in western tirisfall glades, not too hard to get to. Now the first 2 quests will be grey, but even so you should get at least 300 rep and decent exp.

By the time you finish all 3 starting areas you should be level 9-10, kill some things if you have to and get to 10, I typically end at 10 anyway.

Where next? Mulgore, durotar, and tirisfall. You're there anyway, so do the brill quests. It's a town east of deathnell. You have to be patient, do only the green ones. Once those are done head to durotar and do the green quests there, and then mulgore. As you level they will turn green, at level 11 you'll get a slew of green quests. Yes, there is a lot of running involved. Be sure you pick up all the quests you can so you can see them go green, otherwise you might miss one.

Once those 3 areas are clear, you get to the fun parts. Barrens and silverpine, barrens can be hell, but it should be quick. You'll be hopping back and forth to these areas, again, doing the green quests.

By the time you hit 20 you should be honored/revered with the 3 main cities (my druid is actually almost honored with the BE one too). I got my characters to 23 with this method in 3 or so days, but I have no life, meh. Doing this will make you die less, and make things a little more casual. If you're a quest whore, it's great.

My friend told me this strat, and I use it all the time now. It's mainly for rep, but I find getting to 12 normally is hell, so this way I can get through those levels with ease.
