Actually, you need to establish a payment method prior to using the game. As such, the free month doesn`t start until you do. So either make a credit card subscription or go to your nearest video game store and buy a pre-paid card.

Reinstall, set up the credit card info (tell your mom/dad they won't get charged, it's just to make sure you do have a credit card). Play for the month, don't like it? Unsubscribe. Like it? Buy a card and put it in on the account section of the site, it's easy.

I wasn't charged when I played my free month. Once it ran I paid my mom, then bought a card and put the code in, and it charged that way.

You shouldn't have any errors, just try reinstalling. This game is AMAZING and you should try to get it to work before giving up.
