History

Orion was born to a low level saiyan soldier 48 years ago. He was inspected at birth for his strength and leadership and determined to be of the same caliber as his father. He was trained from an early age to become one of the many changeling 'planet brokers', being sent to planets to wipe out any form of resistance before the Cold Dynasty invaded and took possession of it.

Yet, Orion displayed incredible progress. Although a good hand-to-hand fighter, Orion never met any enemy that could defeat him using energy attacks. Soon enough, he was entrusted with his own squad and started taking on higher profile planets. As time went on, he became stronger and soon led a team of elite saiyan warriors.

However, Orion always desired more. He and his wife, Parika, displayed an emotion rather limited and uncharacteristic of the saiya-jin people; love. Together with their eleven year old son, Kale, Orion hoped that one day they could escape the tyrannical rule of the Cold Dynasty and leave for a better world.

At the age of twenty-seven, during a routine planet capture, Orion and his team were ambushed by an anonymous force. The saiyan leader witnessed the death of two of his teammates before taking a fatal hit himself.

Orion vanished from the universe for twenty-one years, only now resurfacing on a distant star called Earth. The rest of his history is well known to him, but he rarely speaks of it.

Personality

In many ways, Orion is the stereotypical saiyan warrior. He is strong, confident in his abilities and always itching for a fight. He is not arrogant, unless around other saiyans. He can sometimes seem cold and distant, and finds it hard to trust others. Although it appears that he forces himself to do it, Orion will step in to save a stranger from injustice.

Combat

A seasoned battler, Orion has seen countless battles over countless worlds. As such, he knows how to 'read' his opponent. He can tell much from stance, eye contact, facial expression, and much more. He uses this information to guide himself in battle and work out flaws in his opponent's fighting style.

Although a good brawler, his true skill lies in his ki wielding ability. It packs a punch stronger than most energy warrior attacks, and he is always looking for ways to utilise his ki creatively to give himself an edge.
