Super Buu
Bio-Magical Construct
Approx 1.65 Million Ki
------------------------------
Appearance
In his base form, Buu looks like this. This is identical to his ?no absorptions? form in the show. The clothing that he was born with ? white, baggy pants and black bracers ? are styled after the Metamorans, who are famed for pioneering the fusion technique. In addition to this, he often wears a purple/dark blue cape identical to that worn by Thin/Evil Buu in the show.
In Spiritken, he looks like this (identical to his ?Vegito absorbed? form in the show ? in other words, Gohan absorbed but without the gi). The most noticable thing about this form is the longer/thicker head-tail, although in addition his facial features grow more defined and ?human?. This is a side-effect of the Bio Armour he absorbed, which, having been designed for humans, causes a human-like ?mutation? upon powering up.
Personality
Previously living and caring only for himself, Supes now harbours a fierce protectiveness towards those who have shown him kindness.
Buu can often be very blunt and cutting with his remarks. This is partly due to his own cockiness, and partly due to the fact that he lacks knowledge of human relationships and thus doesn?t know when he?s gone too far. This particular trait has a tendency to offend people, but those who understand the monster?s quirks often come to appreciate the his honesty (or, more accurately, inability to lie). This is very relevant in the game of Dante?s Abyss, where many players will be plotting and scheming. Buu would much rather openly challenge someone and have an all-out brawl than stab them in the back.
Super has something of a ?compliance? complex, brought on by his traumatic upbringing by Bibidi. He can be very resistant to taking people?s advice or listening to orders, to the point where he ?spites himself? in order to go his own way. This is the bane of his life, something he feels he needs to adhere to. Thus, almost tragically, in his constant attempts to free himself from being controlled, he lets his life be controlled by his upbringing.
Spiritken ? Buu?s personality subtly alters when he powers up, though he remains the same person. In stark contrast to the saiyan?s tendency to lose control in their powered-up states, Supes becomes much more focused and tactical. Whereas in his base form Buu fights for enjoyment, in Spiritken he fights to win.
Possible Reactions
Whilst Buu is a very prideful creature, he has an alarmingly loose grasp on the concept of self-preservation. As Vine taught him in their final meeting, it?s not about life and death ? it?s about winning and losing, pride and honour. Fuelled by his ego, he will launch himself into fights he has almost no chance of winning. Whilst this usually works against him, sometimes he gets lucky and pulls through. He is very susceptible to provocation, and will seek to ?resolve? any threats to his self-esteem as soon as they come up. The only situation where he would run away from a fight is when his allies are in danger. He has no qualms with killing those who are not his allies.
Relationships
Minoshia ? This bloodlusted Konat betrayed Civil Unrest during Dante?s Abyss, killing both the young boy Goku Jr and their leader, Seventeen. Buu simply could not understand how someone could lie and betray like that, and was sent into a state of utter frustration trying to get his head around it in the final days of DA. The grudge was resolved somewhat when the two fought and killed each other in the grand finale, but he still dislikes the Konat greatly.
Android 17 ? A being that Buu has come to respect immensely, as both a friend, leader, and fellow warrior. He is possibly the one person that Super has no qualms taking orders from ? not because the monster regards himself as inferior to Seventeen, but because he knows the android would not lie to him.
Jackie Chun ? Buu met this elderly hermit for a short while during the last Dante?s Abyss, but doesn?t know him very well.
Kid Buu ? The relationship between Super and Kid Buu has always been somewhat ?awkward? to say the least. Supes has no idea that his brother?s energy was used to fuel his own creation, and thus believes that Kid?s hatred towards him is unfounded and nonsensical. Kid, likewise, holds a great bitterness towards his ?successor?, not least because he was seen as better in the eyes of Bibidi.
Pan ? Buu met her near the end PC3. All he knows about the girl is that she is a saiyan.
Vegeta ? Supes fought in this saiyan?s squadron for a short while in the Vegeta-sei Rebellion, but knows little else about the saiyan monarch.
Bardock ? A person that Buu fought and killed during PC3. Whilst the monster dislikes Bardock?s outlook on life, he holds a grudging respect for the saiyan?s battle prowess. Buu does not know that Bardock is alive, let alone participating, disguised, in this competition.
Fighting Style
Super has developed a very offensive, ?kamikazi? style of fighting, reliant on his ability to regenerate after each battle. As this ability is suppressed by his collar, Buu will try and be more careful ? but no promises.
Quotes
?I take it you?re the leader of these scum? Hah! Your so called ?army? isn?t good enough to wipe my boots!?
?I honestly thought you were different from the rest of your race - a bunch of endlessly multiplying weaklings with no direction or purpose. I thought you were better than that.?
?I?ve come with you this far, and I intend to carry on through to the end.?
?I don?t take kindly to traitors.?
?You should probably know ? I?m immortal.?
