His fight with Justinian came to an end, Gohan had been the victor, although with the help King Cold. Vegeta had died and it was now time to move on elsewhere. The Outland and Fusion units were moving together. He had time to reflect with others how it went, the battle for Aztec Tower. After the execution of Vegeta, Reijin had extended an offer to join Xero Tolerance Complex, his alliance. Though this left the old man slightly perplexed, He didn?t even really know the young saiya-jin warrior, nor any of his allies.

As they marched along Gramps had plenty of time to reflect upon himself. Among the many times that they were marching he always spent a little time pondering the Mask, which he bought at Port Karolin. When he put it on it was as though he became someone else, someone quite different from who he was normally, or who he had been at one time. When he put on the mask though, it was almost like he became a stereotypical saiyan, a lust for war, battle, killing. Though without the mask he was simply an old hermit, one who stayed to himself, someone who did what he needed to do to survive, and live on, though it never meant killing. Humans anyway

Gohan had seen a movie once, ?The Mask?, staring some comedy guy. The mask brought out their ?inner self?. Was his kitsune mask like that? Or was he just really like that on the battlefield? He didn?t know, though he had seen death a lot over his many years, he never actually partook in any murders, never mind mass murders. Though he would quickly have to get used to it, for Dante would commit the genocide of every opposing faction of Dante?s Abyss: Conquest. That would change any man, even one as old as himself. Gohan was pretty passive back on earth, he had a routine of doing things, though you couldn?t say he was set in his ways at all. This though, for sure, would change what he had been, to something completely new and different.
