[Paragus]

Paragus had finally arrived at his destination, Dwarven Fort. It had taken him some time to get there, but he had finally arrived. it had been Garlic Jr's orders to go to the fort. There was business waiting there for him. A group of men immediatly came up to the saiyan and explained everything. They had explained that some of the guys found two wanderers lurking around the fort and brought them in to custody.

"Captives huh" Paragus said rubbing his chin in curiousity. "Which way to the prison" He asked, but was quickly met with the response of the men leading him in that direction.

They lead him to what seemd to be a door that went into the ground. Para opened it slowly and climbed down. The soldiers turned back, that was as far as they went. The rest was up to the saiyan.

The prisoners chambers of the Dwarven Fort bore a musty eerie feeling. It reaked of mildew and urine. It wasnt exactly a Five Star resort. Paragus had arrived at the fort just a couple of hours before. Thats when he learned of the two captives they were holding in the fort. Workers of the fort lead him into the dungeon to recieve further instruction.

Para brushed away giant cobwebs as he trekked along the giant corridor beneath the Dwarven Fort. A group of soldiers were gathering at a specific holding cell and looked to be talking to the person inside. This had to be the prisoner's cell. One of the soldiers suddenly stopped his chattering and walked toward the saiyan General. He stopped right in front of him and gave a salute.

"Sir, My name is Private Salem, Sir. We have captured two wanderers just outside the encampment. They are yours now" With that the private called off his men and they wandered back the way the saiyan came and out of the prison.

With the sound of the prison door closing far behind him he moved on toward the cell door. The saiyan peered around the corner and saw the two travelers who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It seemed they were having a conversation of there own, but it was quickly interrupted by the arrival of the saiyan.

"So you two are the captives" Paragus said looking at the two prisoners and then waited on a response. "Mind if i ask you guys a couple of questions" Paragus said with a smile. This seemed to get the captives attention and that was good.

"So you two are the captives. Mind if I ask you guys a couple of questions?"

Koola looked at the man that walked into the prison. The man looked to be in his forties and had tan skin. He had a very bushy, black mustache and a scar running down his left eye. From the looks of it, Koola thought, he?s the guy in charge.

?Well?? The man said, ?Aren?t you going to answer me??

Heh...he may be in charge, but he certainly isn?t a very good leader if he can?t even control his temper.

?My apologies, sir.? Koola said sarcastically, ?Of course you can ask me anything you want.?

The man calmed down and stroked his mustache. He sat down on a nearby chair one of the soldiers brought in for him. ?Well then, lets begin. My name is Paragus, state your name.?

Koola laughed a little inside. This guy sure is buying into the whole military theme. Comically, the changeling replied. ?My name is Koola, sir!? He yelled while standing up and saluting him with his face scrunched up and his lips puffed out. Paragus didn?t catch the stab to him, and continued with his interrogation.

?Well, Koola was it? Alright...where did you come from??

?Where?? Koola repeated as he sat down on the single bench. ?A barren wasteland by the look of it. I think it was called the Unforgiving Plains.?

?The what? I?ve never heard of...soldier! Hand me a map!? Before the soldier was able to give Paragus the map, Koola flung out one of his own. He opened it and showed him where it was, on the middle of the map. Paragus took the map from him and read it over again. After looking closely, he noticed that it was one of the United maps. ?How did you get...?? He was about to ask when Koola went off again, cutting him off.

?You can keep that one. I took it off the guard when he was asleep. These tails aren?t just for looks you know!? Koola said as he showed his long tail. It was at that time that Koola noticed that Paragus had a tail as well, the tail of a saiyan. The changeling smiled as he awaited what his next action was.

?You must have came from another army. Which one? Dante? Outcasts??

?Outcasts, yeah. I disobeyed an order, and one of their generals ?kicked? me out. I?ve been on my own for most of this tournament. I guess you can call me an outcast Outcast.? he concluded as he, Flemings, and the rest of the soldiers in the room laughed at his joke. When the saiyan glared at them, he stopped giggling and looked serious once more.

?Hm...I see. I?m guessing you have information about the Outcast base. You could be useful.?

?Yes, I do. But what makes you think I?ll divulge my secrets? I?m just a mere prisoner. If I hold information your army needs, then you?ll have to treat me right.?

?Or, I can have you killed! How about that!?? Paragus angrily replied. Koola laughed again.

?If you do that, then you?ll lose your one and only chance to learn anything about an enemy army. Face it, if you kill me, I leave this game with my life and you get punished for killing someone who was willing to give away information. But, if you keep me alive and put me in the army, I?ll happily give away all the secrets I have. Deal??

The soldiers looked at the two, the changeling and the saiyan. They all saw the shift of power in the room, and where wondering who was really fit to lead them.

?Well?? The changeling smugly replied. ?Do we have a deal??

[Paragus]

The saiyan didnt like the changelings attitude, but he remained in control. He glanced into the eyes of the purple being and gave a decisive smirk. Para extended his hand through the iron bars and opened it. The changeling met him half way and gave a grin of victory.

"Deal" Paragus said anxious to see what this new ally can do.

The saiyan gestured for the guards to open the cell doors and let the two beings free. He didnt like the changelings wise-ass attitude but if he was as good at fighting then he was at talking he would be a major asset. A sigh of relief came over Paragus seeing as he was able to now drop the general gimmick and act as himself. The stern attitude during the interrogation was used to show that he wasnt messing around and that it was no laughing matter.

Koola and flemings slowly made there way out of their dirt infested cell and out into the dirt infested hallway. They turned and made their way out of the holding chambers and up to the surface of the Dwarven Fort. Work was still being done outside on the fort making it a fortress. Paragus was able to her faint whispering between Koola and his friend.

"Well Welcome to The united Army" Paragus said waving arms across the scene of the dwarven fort.

Paragus began to loosen up and not act so much like a General anymore but more an ally. He was trying to make the changeling feel comfortable in this new enviroment. Workers passed the saiyan and the changeling and all gave salutes and went back to work.

"They seem to have respect for you" Koola muttered pacing himself behind the Saiyan and keeping a watchful eye on all the work being done.

"Well i used to be a reknowned General for the Saiyan Army back on Vegeta, but that was a long time ago" The saiyans eyes faded and he looked as if he was thinking of a troubled time in his life.

Trying to devert his attention away from his memories Para changed the subject. "So does your friend here Fight" Paragus directed toward Felmings.

"If he has too. Dont worry he wont be a problem" Koola said trying to be a cooperative as possible. "So its a nice place you got here" Koola laughed changing the subject yet again.

"Hey its a work in progress, and speaking of work. Lets get to it" Para said gesturing the two toward the fort. "while we work you can tell me all those secrets you have" The two gave each other a smirk and got to work.
