Just a little new article I saw today about Guild Wars. Thought if you read stuff here you'd want to check it out.

That was a very refreshing read.

I have to say, my biggest draw to GW is not having that "obligation to play" that they talked about. I've played MMOs because I felt obliged to; its not fun, its work.

Yeah. CoH was where I figured that one out. "Awesome! I'm a super hero!" turned into "Fuck! I'm spending $15 a month to be a super hero but I don't want to spend all day trying to run task forces with random jackasses!" Which is a slight exaggeration, most people were cool, but you know what I mean.

I'm really tempted to buy guild wars, but as it stands I'd play it maybe once a week, and lordy knows I've got lots of other games to play too...which I'd only play about once a week.

You could buy just the Prophecies campaign. Its what? $30? And its totally worth it, even if you only play it occassionally. It'll last a while, too. Especially if you get into PvP.

I might, since it's so pretty and my notebook will probably run it. I think I didn't get it before cause my laptop was old and couldn't run anything to save it's life.

Plus I got paid today, so buying the game won't take a large fraction of my bank account away.

Yup and if you buy propehcies just let me know and i'll log on(for like the first time in a few months) and give you some free stuff...unless my cousin has already hit me up...eh anyway just let me know. btw the article was pretty good.

Nope, I've never came across any good ele stuff, and I did have a few gold and green items on my former necro but being the dumbass I am I deleted him without removing the items and stuff.
