Android 17
#1
General Information:

Name: ‘Android’ Seventeen/Junanagou
Race: Machine-Hybrid
Age: Unknown (calculated to be somewhere in his early twenties)

Appearance:

Seventeen stands at 6’4”, and weighs in at 150 pounds. Seventeen’s usual attire consists of a simple combination on t-shirt, jeans, bandana, and boots. Above all of this, he sometimes wears a Focusing Cloak that has been fashioned into a lightweight trench coat. The android also wears armor from time to time, usually opting to dress in saiya-jin breastplates, because he finds them comfortable and flexible. From time to time, he will wear ulterior variations of armor, but this is solely dependent on his situation.

Accessories include: a small bag tied to his belt that includes his money, dragon radar, communications scouter, and a few pieces of candy; a watch-like piece of jewelry on his right wrist, which is a radar apparatus for the small devices he seeks to unveil his past. The android also wields a sword given to him by his ‘lady friend’ Paige. Nicknamed the “Power Sword” by a few of his associates, the weapon is usually sheathed in a scabbard strapped on his back.

Biological Makeup:

Seventeen can be summed up as a scientific and technological marvel. Although originally human at one point in his life, mass experimentation has made him far more then just a normal man. Someone may hear the term ‘android’ and initially perceive images of ripping off Seventeen’s face and seeing a metal skull or something equally synthetic…but that is not the case.

As a cyborg, the only real metallic implements within Seventeen are a series of nanofibers that have been laced throughout the numerous organ systems of his body. These fibers are all linked to a central processing unit (CPU) built into the machine-hybrid’s thoracic cavity. This piece of technology, throughout multiple surgeries, has been completely integrated with and around Seventeen’s heart.

This means that his synthetic and organic systems are perfectly and flawlessly in synch. However, there have been numerous occasions (such as during the CIA’s final attack and throughout the course of the Friend or Foe contest) where excruciating levels of physical stress has caused malfunctions to occur. These errors usually manifest themselves in the form of electrical sparks, which tend to dance across the cyborg’s body, causing further trauma.

The CPU generates the cybernetic warrior’s own source of energy, thus making Seventeen undetectable to all but the most advanced of scouters (scouter upgrade 4 is required to detect the android’s ki signature). While mostly either light blue or yellow, the shading of the android’s ki can vary depending on the attack or his emotional mindset. The CPU serves as another mind for the android and, along with the technology fused with his brain, as a statistical and personal database for information.

The only way someone could really discern Seventeen from a normal person is by his seemingly nonexistent energy levels (and even this could be covered up through numerous lies). Furthermore, they’d have to hack pretty deep into him if they wanted to really see his cybernetic heritage. Also, a battle visor and rebreather are now installed into the android’s internal systems.

Current Standings:

After dying of his own will during the final battle against the nefarious Construct and then losing in the third Dante's Abyss, Seventeen is back to training on King Kai's planet. He seeks enlightenment in his death and hopes to emerge a better man.

Moves:

Final Flash
This attack, which once took an eternity to charge, shortens in charge time as Seventeen grows stronger. The cybernetic warrior commences this attack by first stretching his arms out—either horizontally, vertically, or in an X. After a period of charging the attack, he draws his palms together and unleashes the brilliant and powerful wave of ki at his foes. The machine-hybrid isn’t sure where he learned this move, because he has always been able to perform it since his awakening.

Ki Disc
This particular ki attack has saved Seventeen from many brushes with death. After charging a ball of ki above his palm, he focuses more ki and flattens the orb into a spinning, powerful disc of varying size. The disc, while very hard to control, can tear through flesh, stone, and steel. The machine-hybrid isn’t sure where he learned this move, because he has always been able to perform it since his awakening.

Ki Barrier
Seventeen utilizes this helpful attack to protect himself from enemies or as a counterattack. The barrier, a translucent green sphere of ki, shields the android from most attacks equal to or weaker than his ki, as long as he can maintain it. Stronger attacks can be weakened by the barrier but will still cause damage. The other helpful thing about the barrier is that if an opponent tries to pierce it physically, the barrier explodes. The explosion does not harm Seventeen, but does drain him of the ki used to maintain the barrier. The machine-hybrid isn’t sure where he learned this move, because he has always been able to perform it since his awakening.

Ki Saber
After creating a small orb of ki, Seventeen grips it into his hand and creates a sword of ki. Usually the cylindrical weapon is only an inch or so in diameter and three feet long. The attack itself is a condensed version of the Ki Disc, having similar traits of that move, only focused into a melee weapon. Seventeen can wield one or two sabers, and by sacrificing more energy, the android can wield a two-handed, sword (he holds it in the center). While usually yellow or blue, the color and size, and strength of the blade all depend on how much energy Android Seventeen uses. The machine-hybrid developed this move after watching Piccolo and Yajirobe duel with samurai swords prior to the Friend or Foe competition.

Hadoken
Seventeen was apparently bestowed this power by the late Paige. It is for when he finds himself in confrontations that promoted close-range combat. Preliminary concentration can allow Seventeen to centralize two masses of white energy around his fist. These "energy gauntlets" make his punches more volatile, but the true strength of the attack is the energy beam he releases. After landed enough strikes to stagger his opponent, Android Seventeen briefly moves his cupped palms to his side, and then throws them forward. He shouts the name of the attack, which releases the energy previously around his fist. Although not as powerful as stronger ki attacks such as his Final Flash attack, Hadoken allows the android to strike his opponent from close quarters while also amplifying his physical prowess.

Ki Whip
After creating a small orb of ki, Seventeen grips it into his hand and creates a limp string of ki. The color varies (although it is usually blue), while the length and potency of the weapon depend on how much power the android decides to exert in its creation. Seventeen can wield one in each hand at the cost of more energy, or he could wield a whip in one hand and a saber in the other. The weapon itself is mainly used as a medium-range melee weapon, but its partially adhesive nature allows the whip to wrap around targets. Although the weapon is merely a string of ki, its grip is rather powerful, and because of this, it can provide a vital edge in combat (because wrapping it around an opponent’s legs, arms, or neck could potentially destroy an opponent’s momentum).

Ki Gun
A rather simplistic attack that fires a simple blast of ki from Seventeen’s index finger: The android must simply aim the index finger, clenching all of his fingers except the thumb. The thumb then acts as a trigger, and upon dropping, releases the projectile at the opponent. Depending on the amount of power concentrated into the shot, the attack can vary from serving as close-range offensive tool or a decent means to deal with foes from a distance. Like most of his other attacks, Seventeen can fire shots from both fingers, although the power will be diminished (leading to the cyborg attacking in a speedy, machinegun-like fashion when utilizing both hands).

Kasenko-kaha
Like most ki beams, this attack is charged within the confines of cupped palms. Like Final Flash back in the day, this technique can take the android substantial time and effort to fully charge, but because of this, it is usually able to get the job done rather well. As the attack charges toward its full potential, the color will descend the colors of the visible light spectrum (starting at red moving down to violet) and then change to a brilliant white color when its full, destructive power has been focused. With a declaration of the attack’s name, Seventeen throws his palms forward—unleashing the beam; however, the bulk of the power comes at the end of the attack, when Seventeen releases a final, massive sphere of energy from his palms after bombarding his foe with the wave-phase of the technique. The sphere explodes, emitting all the colors of the rainbow as a means to glorify its destructive prowess. Colloquially called ‘Rainbow Beam’, this attack represents Seventeen’s most powerful technique and usually his final gambit in intense, physical confrontations.

Ki Sight and Sound
Although the witty moniker may infer otherwise, all this move does is allow the android to channel ki through his eyes and mouth. The damage of said concentrations is variable, just as any ki blast fired from the palm would be, but the ability to fire from orifices on his countenance has additional value for when he is tied up or otherwise unable to use his hands. Seventeen can elect to focus energy through only one exit or the other, albeit sacrifice to the potency of the blast.

Ki Tracker
After condensing a lot of energy into a small sphere, the machine-hybrid can hurl it at his opponents, and with his processor, he can actually remote control the destructive little projectile. This means that he can arch it around and opponent to throw them off (make them think he missed), but with a discrete hand, eye, or internal motion, he can cause it pivot back around and hit them in the back. An attack excellent for sneakiness, as it can be guided through tunnels or vents into an enemy installation.

Ki Net
Seventeen begins this attack by firing a volley of energy bolts at his foe—missing with every single one. Instead of exploding, these projectiles freeze in proximity to the target, and with a motion from the cyborg; all of the attacks converge on the target in question. The more projectiles Seventeen throws, the more cataclysmic the final attack contains. This attack is great for unloading upon a stronger opponent, but the energy and time it takes makes it fruitless to use on weaker opponents who can be dispatched with a less-taxing attack.

Ki Mortar
Seventeen charges up a dense, erratic sphere of energy (color is on you) in his hand and hurls it into the sky. When it reaches an altitude of his desire, the android snaps his fingers and the sphere detonates into a flurry of ki projectiles. If he is unable to snap his fingers, the mortar will fall back down to the ground and then explodes—drastically reducing its potential. Like a lethal hail of rain, these shards of energy cleave through the sky and rain death and destruction upon the ground below them. The potency and area of this attack is dependent upon how much energy android seeks to invest in this maneuver. Due to its simple method of execution and power, this attack is a good means to deal with many foes or a single enemy.

Ki Shockwave
This attack has is based on a pretty simply theory: It’s powerful and great in times of desperation. All the time, Seventeen’s processor is generating the ki that the android uses for attacks, flying, and everything else. Whilst he can be drained physically and mentally to the state where he is fatigued and unable to keep fighting, there is always a surplus of ki in the android’s wiring and central processor. We’re not talking enough to keep him alive; we’re talking a ridiculous amount of storage, enough to make the iPod Nano look like a bitch. If ever he found himself in a desperate scenario, Seventeen could simply unload this reservoir. The result is a shockwave that can obliterate small cities—a great swansong. If the android survives the massive deficit, he’d be in a coma for anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks, however long it takes for the CPU to reboot and recharge.

Ki Grenade
This attack begins with Seventeen charging a sphere of black energy. Unlike your run-of-the-mill energy projectile, this ball is motionless (it neither churns nor scintillates). It is also crafted in such a manner that it is increasingly difficult to detect via underdeveloped ki senses or technology. Because of all these mannerisms, the ‘grenade’, when coupled with android’s natural inability to not be detected like normal beings, is a superb means of decimating weaker foes without making his presence known to others. Furthermore, it’s a decent means to keep any opponent on their toes. It explodes only after leaving Seventeen’s hands for five seconds, and before it detonates, it can bounce and roll, akin to a real grenade. With enough force behind the throw, it can even smash through wood and even steel before exploding.

Hakka Soudoushou (Shouden) -
A move that Seventeen has been acquainted with in the past in one form or another due to his travels with its (possible) originator, the namekian Piccolo. The user of the Hakka Soudoushou becomes blurry due to massive amounts of ki raising within his/her body, sending after images in all directions. The attack it's self is in the form of a dark dragon wave propelled from the user's palm. Massive damage is dealt to those that have not mastered the technique, practice makes this attack nearly perfect.

Ice Armor -
Seventeen's ability to control ice allows him to craft a suit of protective ice armor around his body. This armor is most effective against weapons such as guns and swords, due to the fact that warriors who are as strong as Seventeen will be able to break the armor with their bare fists and energy attacks. The set of armor also includes a shield.

Ice Spear -
As he already has a katchin blade, Seventeen figured that an ice sword would be kind of useless. With that in mind, he decided to hone his cyrokinetic abilities to the extent where he could create a spear of ice. This weapon works well when coupled with his ice armor, as it can punch through most materials when wielded with adequate force.

Abilities:

Ki Sense (3)
Seventeen first acquired this ability while battling the changeling’s during the CIA invasion. This handy ability, having integrated into his internal CPU, informs him of nearby power sources and where power is being used. Seventeen hopes to be able to expand on his ki sensing abilities in the future.

Although the android’s ki sensing powers were stagnate for a long time, he managed to someone unlock heightened capabilities when he finally returned to his homeworld to settle down with Paige.

Kai Kai Teleportation
Seventeen was bestowed this ability when Paige, whilst trapped in a parallel plane of existence, transferred her powers to him. It allows him to monetarily transfer his corporeal form into a cluster of white and blue “orbs” (a fancy name for small, bright blinks of light), solely for the sake of instantaneous traveling across both worlds and dimensions. Repetitive use of this ability both weakens the android and horribly upsets his stomach, causing vomiting and other good things.

Ascension (Android Upgrade)
Seventeen received this ability/item along with the rest of Paige’s powers, and it was also the second of those powers that he has managed to unlock. This technique triggers new energy to surge through the wiring within his body. This state is heralded by a momentary, blinding tornado of light blue energy. While ascended, a minute, invisible aura appears around Seventeen’s body, warming his body and causing his adrenaline to surge beyond preexisting levels. His hair, affected by the aura, wildly wafts above his ears in his state, and his normally charcoal eyes become a crystalline blue shade. Finally, this form grants the android a 20x augmentation of his physical attributes.

Metal Binding
After several distractions, Seventeen was finally able to allocate enough time to his training beneath the Eternal Guardian of Vegeta, Lord Vine. The training beneath the hybrid of tuffle and saiya-jin led the android to inadvertently reboot his internal central processor, which had been malfunctioning since his resurrection. Once he had reconnected with his cybernetic component, Seventeen realized that he had a heightened awareness of the world around him, and because of his, he could protect his energy to the extent that he could infuse it into metal-based materials. With this new ability, the android became able to alter the substance at a molecular level—bending it to his will. Because he is fairly new at this, it will take further training for the cybernetic warrior to call himself a true master of the art of Metal Binding.

Transcension (RAGE Upgrade)
The apex of Seventeen’s power. This power was first tapped into during Dante’s Abyss: Conquest, when the android integrated with his cybernetic component and struck down the konat. Despite the immense power, Seventeen was unable to sustain it or even delve into the entire well. This would come months later, when he believed Paige had been killed the by Rime.

When uncontrolled, this transformation can cause a staggering physical change that causes the android to swell to many times his normal size and build. Mountains of chiseled muscles adorned what had once been lithe and lean. When hulked out, the android loses all reason and is fueled only by hate and the will to destroy. When he is control, Seventeen stays the same size, although his muscles become ridiculous toned. The raw power causes the cyborg’s hair to be permanently spiked into place, along with generating a crimson aura around his body. The android’s eyes also turn a matching shade of red, and his voice can sometimes take on a rasping intonation. The result is a massive increase in power and speed (twice that of Seventeen’s basic ascension).

Kaioken
A power acquired by Seventeen whilst training on King Kai's little planet. The android unlocked this technique by fighting Yamu. During the fight, Seventeen was unable to use his own power-ups and Yamu could, thus causing a very unbalanced bout. In the end, however, they fought to a stalemate that ended upon the android's aquisition of this power-up. Although not as effective as the Ascension, it can be maintained longer and can be used in situations where he needs to power-up but doesn't want to go the full way. The overall increase granted by this power-up is x15

Shapechange
Upon the birth of his children, the android took a week to sit back and invest some time in himself whilst Paige and the twins recuperated. During this time, he spent a nice sum of cash and took some Shapechange classes offered at different places in South City. Although the courses themselves were obnoxiously stereotyped and cliched, the android nevertheless managed to master the technique within a week's time.

Ki Absorption
Following his demise in his second Dante's Abyss, Seventeen gradually became aware of a strange new ability he had somehow attained. Through his hands, the machine-hybrid is able to absorb energy, whether his means absorbing a projectile through his palms or by siphoning the energy through the flesh (mouth/neck is the most efficient) of his foe. Attempting to absorb large amounts of energy (like a huge ki blast or trying to drain someone way above his own threshold of ki) can be damaging to the machine-hybrid.

Cyrokinesis
During his training with King Kai, Seventeen began to notice that water began to freeze upon contact with his skin. He disregarded this as a by-product of the dream reality he was in.

Kills:

Piccolo Daimoun
In the midst of decreased mental perception and sanity, Piccolo and Seventeen attacked this namekian. The battle was fierce, but not even the elder namekian could endure the pair of crazed warriors. It was Seventeen, who got the final say in the battle, and with a blast of ki, the android blew apart the namekian’s cranium—terminating his life functions.

King Cold
The death of Violet during the changeling’s invasion of Vegeta led the android into a rampage that culminated with him stumbling upon the emperor of the invaders. Identifying him solely as a powerful member of the race, Seventeen and the tyrant soon were engaged in a life or death struggle that came to an epic conclusion when the android ascended. This ascension merited him the strength to overpower the king’s defense and obliterate him with a massive blast of ki.

Minoshia
During Dante’s Abyss: Conquest, Seventeen became lost in the Unforgiving Plains. After a period of wandering, the android came across the forces of Minoshia. Seeing the former traitor and murderer of his youthful comrade, Seventeen immediately engaged the Konat and his men. A vicious struggle was initiated, which resulting in such a degree of trauma to the android that his organic side failed to function. Guided only by his CPU, Seventeen temporarily transcended all former limits of his power. This short and sudden spike gave him the raw power he needed to outmaneuver the konat and cut open the back of his neck. Minoshia was dead in seconds, and the power was gone a heartbeat later. Vengeance was at last Seventeen’s.

Deaths:

During the game Friend or Foe, Seventeen was completely torn asunder, but thanks to some insane miracle, he managed to escape unscathed back to his homeworld.

During Dante’s Abyss, Minoshia betrayed the group following the fall of his brother at the hands of the game’s host. Poisoning Goku Junior, the Konat evoked the wrath of the already wounded android. Gaining the upperhand quickly, Minoshia almost claimed another kill when Seventeen, using a ki rocket launcher, turned himself into a bomb of sorts and killing him—but not Minoshia—instantly.

During Dante’s Abyss: Conquest, Seventeen was fatally injured during the Battle of Fortress Hyperion when both of the armies converged on his location. With all of his friends dead, the android confided in the saiya-jin Broli. After the talk, a dying Seventeen was put out of his misery. The death was synthetic, and the machine-hybrid wound up in the lobby with a killer headache afterwards.

During the second Dante's Abyss, Seventeen (whilst insane due to the effects of an EMP) was blown asunder during the finale by Bardock. Like in Dante's Abyss: Conquest, the death was synthetic, and the machine-hybrid woke up in the lobby soon thereafter, having not recalled most of his insanity during the last days of the competition.

During the Construct's failed attempt to assimilate the universe, Seventeen was mortally wounded during the final battle. Unable (and unwilling) to flee from the scene of the fight, he gave his life alongside that of the half saiya-jin Bra's to ensure that the vessel that housed the creature was destroyed.

During the third Dante's Abyss, a depressed, bloodthirsty Seventeen mindlessly attacked his former teammate Violet over control of a Rocket Launcher. In the fight, the saiya-jin Bardock managed to knock down Seventeen's ally Minoshia and claim the gun. He then turned it on the android, and with a flick of a button, he blew Seventeen apart for the second year in a row. Seventeen woke up in the afterlife, due to his being dead prior to the event beginning.

Relations:

Kirano
The android's first friend. The two meet nearly three years ago during the final weeks of the CIA's defunct invasion of Earth. During that time, they grew close and fought next to one another on the field of battle. Kirano, unfortunately, was slain by Kooriza during the conflict, and the two would be separated until the following Christmas, when they were brought back together to stave off the Red Stallions. Following the success of that endeavor, they slowly grew apart for nearly two years, until Seventeen found his old buddy's fiancee and child. The two would then finally be reunited by the Brotherhood to combat the Construct, although the death of the android brought their reunion to a premature end.

Super Buu
Seventeen encountered this bizarre creature for the first time following his return to Kami’s Lookout following Friend or Foe 2. He would become a member of Civil Unrest and help stave off the Red Stallions before being inadvertently sent off to fight on Vegeta. When the machine-hybrid arrived on Vegeta’s moon, he found the Majin warrior and sparred him in a vicious bout that ultimately was cut short by Lord Vine. Later the two would meet up during Dante’s Abyss, where the android’s respect for the powerful, rubbery being continued to grow. Seventeen’s death cut short their rendezvous; however, they would meet up and travel once again during the changeling’s failed invasion of the saiya-jin homeworld of Vegeta. They also fought together during Dante's Abyss: Conquest, but during the second Dante's Abyss, the two grew apart following the puttalin's slaying of the android's pregnant girlfriend. If ever they meet again, things are bound to get nasty.

Violet
One of the few woman that Seventeen has developed a bond with, Violet was yet another warrior who fought off the Red Stallions alongside the machine-hybrid. Like with Kid Buu, Seventeen didn’t really get to know her until Dante’s Abyss. The two managed to remain allies despite injuries, intense verbal bouts, and mood swings of epic proportions, but Seventeen’s death drove a stake through their budding friendship. Following a mental breakdown, the android found solace in Violet’s ebbing depression; however, via epiphany, the machine-hybrid managed to avert their ‘final flight’ and returned the woman to safety. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when the woman was killed fighting changelings on Vegeta. Unable to cope with failing to reach her in time, Seventeen went on a rampage.

After this, the two did not meet until the most recent Dante's Abyss, when repressed feeling on Seventeen's behalf led him to violently strike out twice against the woman. This was due to depression and mild insanity on the android's behalf. During his training on King Kai's, Seventeen was able to come to terms with himself for hurting someone he cared for, and he can only hope that Violet will be able to forgive him for his insane behavior in the game.

Minoshia
A warrior who fought against the Red Stallions, Minoshia was a founding member of Civil Unrest. His tenure would come to an during Dante's Abyss, when he slew Goku Junior, one of Seventeen's trainees. In the chaos, Seventeen forfeited his life but failed to kill the konat. The two met up again during Dante's Abyss: Conquest, when Seventeen killed Minoshia in a fierce battle. Although they stood for completely opposite morals, the two met during the most recent Dante's Abyss as friends, the by-product of Seventeen's depression and repressed hatred for moral values. Their alliance was cut short when Seventeen was killed, which left them to return to their separate paths, having benefited from their time with the other.

Michael (NPC)
Seventeen met this android following the cataclysm that was the CIA invasion. The two shared a brief bout before the smaller of the two warriors skedaddled. They would meet again following Friend or Foe, and with the aid of Super Buu, create the alliance known as Civil Unrest and combat the Red Stallions. The two traveled to Vegeta and eventually wound up competing in Dante’s Abyss together. Seventeen was forced to look on as Mike was decapitated; however, the two were reunited later on when the smaller android was summoned from the afterlife to help a the mohawked automaton. Since those days, Mike has set down the mantle of warrior in order to serve Civil Unrest as the helmsman of the Nirvana.

Other notable acquaintances – Celipa, Bujin, Zangya, Retane, Android 18, Raditzu, Bardock, Trunks, Burter & Burter Junior, and Yamu.

History:

Seventeen awoke one morning in the icy wastelands of the planet Earth. With no memory and driven by distorted dreams, the android ventured into the world. He soon encountered Kirano. The human would help the confused fighter realize his potential and direct him to a secluded resistance base. There, the android was quickly sucked up into the final stages of the CIA invasion of earth. That day left the android horribly disfigured and mentally distraught by the death of Kirano.

Following the end of the CIA invasion, the android wandered the planet, intent on discovering his true self. Seventeen’s’ search led him to a hidden laboratory amidst a snowy mountain range. Inside was another android, and this automaton, which shared the same creator as Seventeen, miraculously repaired the deformed machine-hybrid. The robot, calling itself Android Seven, promised to help the android if he could recover several pieces of technology scattered by their creator.

Seventeen’s journey took him to the Furiza Fiesta—a tournament in which he would be paired with a saiya-jin named Goku. The two warriors defeated the pairing of Hatchiyack (a red alien who Seventeen defeated shortly after the CIA invasion was thwarted), and Android Thirteen; however, the pair would be eliminated in the next round by the pair of Trunks and Raditzu. The android’s crippling defeat at the hand of the two saiya-jins left him bitter and enraged, yet for a moment, his swelling rage was deflated by the sudden appearance of strange woman named Paige.

Although their meeting was brief, her presence calmed Seventeen’s emotional surges for a moment. Following the Fiesta, the android encountered several warriors (most prevalent among these, Android Sixteen) battling a foul abomination later identified as Vapor. The android fought like an animal, beating down Vapor until he was forced to retreat. The cowardly behavior of the creature simply added to the cybernetic warrior’s growing frustration.

Following his abduction from the temple by Paige, Seventeen entered into the Room of Spirit and Time with a relative stranger, the namekian Piccolo. If it weren’t for the soothing telepathic words of Paige, the android would most certainly have succumbed to the maddening affect the chamber had on both him and Piccolo. Amidst all odds, the duo emerged from the parallel void changed men. Operating in a tag-team fashion, the two dismantled the duo of Piccolo Daimoun and Yajirobe.

Shortly after the grueling spar, the quartet was taken to the asteroid of Kala. There, they all became competitors in the 71st annual Friend Or Foe competition. In the first day of the “game”, Seventeen faced a slew of the undead, his weakened mind, and alongside Piccolo, their former ally, Piccolo Daimoun. The elder namekian fought valiantly, but in the end, the machine-hybrid split his skull open like a watermelon; however, the victory, fueled by the duo’s deteriorating mental state, would come at a price. An avatar, a heavenly tool of justice attacked Seventeen and left the android with one arm.

From there, the contest deteriorated further, with the cybernetic warrior being attacked by more undead and cybernetic mutants. Brim then took Piccolo, Seventeen, and the rest of the contestants to a large dome. There, the machine-hybrid battled Yajirobe while Piccolo competed with a replica of Seventeen in mortal combat.

Piccolo was murdered, while the android and samurai settled their differences momentarily to battle a mutant. Yajirobe died that day, leaving Seventeen alone on Kala; however, an old friend—Vapor, soon greeted the android. The two would chase one another over the planetoid until their fighting culminated inside an icy chamber. There, Vapor took the relic he needed to resurrect his leader, Android Byrk, and left Seventeen to combat a massive demon.

Although he emerged victorious, the machine-hybrid had to combat a demonic general, Azrael, only a few minutes later. Once again, Seventeen pulled out a victory, and when he arrived at the center of Heaven’s forces, a lone watchtower, the climatic battle between Heaven and Hell commenced. During the conflict, the android was cast into a void between life and death.

He escaped, because Paige forfeited her life to protect him. Following his escape from the clutches of Rime, the machine-hybrid, heart-broken and mentally exhausted, attacked the leader of Hell’s forces. Unfortunately, he was completely outmatched, and he systematically and painfully executed.

Although the whitelighter Leo commented it was because of Paige’s ‘essence’, the exact way that Seventeen escaped both death and Kala is unknown. Regardless, he arrived back on Earth where he revived Kirano and established the group known as Civil Unrest. During a battle with the Red Stallions (a group of intergalactic marauders), he went to Android Seven to have his memories of Friend or Foe unlocked (they were hidden by Leo).

The result was his realization of Paige’s death, and the knowledge of his new powers (mainly orbing, and later a power-up). Shortly after defeating both Akio and the resurfaced Vapor, the machine-hybrid ventured to the ethereal planes of Heaven in hopes of meeting with the Elders about Paige. Seventeen was initially denied access to their meeting place, because his soul was not pure enough, so with an overwhelming determination, the android underwent the trials of the Dojo of Light under the guidance of a young whitelighter named Zasz.

After wrapping up his victorious gambit at getting into the Dojo, Seventeen returned for a short stint on Earth. Back home, he competed for a little bit in another tournament, where he managed to defeat the namekian Slug. In the next round, Vapor once again reared his ugly head, and in the subsequent madness, Seventeen was eliminated from the contest. With a vendetta on mind, the cyborg ran back to Baba and demanded that she send him to the Underworld.

Upon his arrival, a forest of living trees inhabited by the most extreme of masochists, then Vapor’s goons, greeted him. Seventeen was eventually sent to a lower ring of Hell and forced to sneak into the City of Dis, where he did combat with a powerful darklighter, and then Vapor himself. Although he tricked Vapor into indirectly releasing Paige from the void between life and death, the bio-android still had enough tricks due to the sword he stole from the Source of All Evil—Dabura. Eventually, Vapor was defeated and sent to the depths of the River Styx, but Dabura himself resurrected the gaseous monster for one final round with his old rival.

Just when it seemed everything was fine and dandy, Rime suddenly emerged from the shadows, filled to the brim with cryptic messages. The two exchanged pleasantries in the form of fists and energy blasts, but Rime quickly departed after being grievously wounded by Seventeen. Not caring about extending his stay in the morbid realm, the machine-hybrid returned to the headquarters of Civil Unrest only to receive an intergalactic vessel—the Nirvana—for the good his alliance and he had done.

After having a brief moment with Paige, the android was once again rushed off the surface of his home world with the intentions of reunited with some of his allies. Unfortunately, the cyborg later learned that both Kirano and Piccolo had vanished completely, and even though it hurt him to leave Earth, he knew he needed to find out who was still alive. After a little drift through space, a short reunion with Sixteen, and meeting a saiya-jin named Panbuukin, Seventeen arrived on Vegeta.

The android’s tenure on the planet’s itself was cut short when he picked up on Super Buu’s trail and migrated to the moon. There, he was confronted by a power saiya-jin named Aman’Thul, who he fought to the death in front of the gates of Lord Vine’s palace. Following the battle, the mansion’s notorious owner made and appearance and offered to accept the android as a student if he could survive in the catacombs beneath the surface. Seventeen succeeded, and then he finally met Super Buu, and the two fought one another in a vicious spar before Vine interrupted.

Shortly thereafter, the machine-hybrid found a sign-up stand for Dante’s Abyss and was quickly off to compete. At the meeting grounds, he found all of his allies from the Red Stallions and then some. The group would rendezvous again in the game itself, but a tragic attack by Ragnarok Black would leave three of them dead. Seventeen would survive, but not without taking a shotgun blast to the abdomen.

From that point on, Dante’s Abyss was a game of lamenting, fear, and lackluster surviving. After a day of relative peace, Minoshia poisoned Goku Junior (a young saiya-jin with whom the cyborg shared a teacher-student bond with), triggering the injured warrior to attack the traitor. The Konat quickly used his superior strength to outmatch his opponent and began throttling the android with a pair of binoculars.

Seventeen responded by shoving the barrel of his rocket launcher into the traitor’s chest and infusing his own ki with it—detonating the weapon and all its ammo salvos. The explosion eradicated the machine-hybrid completely and sent him to King Yemma’s where he was sent to train with King Kai.

After transpiring the maddening expanse of Snakeway and having a frightening vision of his past, Seventeen arrived on King Kai’s. He stayed there only long enough to pass three of the preliminary tasks before he was whisked back to the realm of the living to assist some endangered friends. Arriving back at Baba’s, the android was greeted by Puar and taken to a submerged facility where he would help the cat, Sixteen, and Bojack escape the wrath of a powerful assassin.

Following those events, Seventeen returned to Lord Vine’s, but his training in the chamber of Metal Binding was cut short when the wraith from Snakeway resurfaced. Fleeing to the planet, he called on Violet (who was busy coping with her life as well), and the two set out on the Nirvana with ill thoughts in mind. Despite recent trauma, Seventeen managed to curb the pair’s suicidal tract and returned Violet and the ship to the planet after a heartfelt speech to the woman. Then he raced off to return to his training up on the moon.

The training was short-lived, and before the android had a chance to get into it, war broke out on Vegeta. Reunited with Super Buu and later Piccolo (who was under the guise of Thirteen for a little while), the trio ventured across the city. Along the way, they found the corpse of their comrade Violet, and the trio broke down as violence and anger led their fists to maul all their foes. Eventually they would go to capital and amass a force of insurrectionists, but war would split them up for an extended period of time. Seventeen would go on to slay the emperor of the changelings, King Cold, before finding Piccolo at the palace and invading the realm of the Dragonborne—a mysterious race with many secrets.

Although that trek was a failure and Piccolo vanished only to be replaced by a rambunctious teenager, Seventeen nevertheless escaped alive with a horrible wounded Super Buu. After dropping of his friend at the medical bay of the Nirvana, the machine-hybrid dealt with Pan (who had jumped his orb for seemingly no reason) and returned to Lord Vine’s. In an effort to master the art of Metal Binding once and for all, he rebooted his CPU, which had crashed and been left in a state of disarray following his death and resurrection after Dante’s Abyss. Through thick and thin, Seventeen mastered Metal Binding and departed to partake in Dante’s Abyss: Conquest.

Throughout the battle, Seventeen became embroiled in his job as leader. He met a great amount of warriors, and even managed to exact penance upon the evil Minoshia—an act which unlocked a raw, new power within the android’s body. Despite his best efforts, the Outcasts were attacked by both of the opposing armies at Hyperion Fortress. Paige and Super Buu were killed during the attack, and after exchanging some heartfelt words with one of Dante’s co-commanders, Broli, Seventeen met his end.

After finding much applause upon his exit from the game, the android left to find Paige. Instead of finding his girlfriend, he found the saiya-jin Celipa (someone he had sentenced to death during Conquest), and with her, he returned to train upon King Kai’s planet. After washing King Kai’s car and helping the recently deceased Super Buu across Snakeway, Seventeen was introduced to Yamu. The two engaged in a rather impressive battle across the landscape which resulting in the android unlocking the power of Kaioken.

After the spar was called off by King Kai, Seventeen began his sixth trial—beat Bubbles in a race. Unfortunately for the android, he decided halfway through the race that his time with the lovably blue sensei was at its end. The android wanted to find Paige, and he was also starting to feel perturbed with his lifestyle. Departing from Heaven without telling a soul, the machine-hybrid returned to the Civil Unrest mansion to find his girlfriend. The two were reunited shortly thereafter and proceeded to consummate their budding relationship, and the next morning, they were attacked during their breakfast.

During the struggle, many of the android’s old rivals emerged from the abyss for one last gambit. Paige was struck down by Rime, and the resulting anger and hatred triggered the android to tap into a new and scary well of power. Transforming into a hulking version of his normally minute self, Seventeen destroyed everything in his path until Avatar Omega stepped in an revealed himself as the ringmaster of the plot to kill Seventeen and Paige.

Infuriated at the prospect of the betrayal, Seventeen got into a furious battle with the demigod. Although he easily trounced the android, Omega’s victory was cut short when Paige, seemingly back from the dead, soundly owned the avatar. Dying, Omega promised the two that they hadn’t stopped the plans of him and his people—only delayed them. As the avatar was dying, Seventeen denounced the Elders and all the supernatural forces that had guided his life thus far.

Afterwards, Leo stopped by and the android told his old friend that he had meant what he said about living his life his way. Obliging his former charge, Leo restored the mansion and vanished, leaving Seventeen and Paige to deal with their next challenge—Paige’s pregnancy!

Eight and a half months later, a beleaguered Seventeen convinced his very hormonal girlfriend to let him compete in Dante’s Abyss. During the contest, the machine-hybrid aligned himself with Raditzu after raiding a high school for new clothes and some drugs. The alliance lasted when the two found Yamu and company, but right before Yamu led his gang into a clash with another superpowered group, Raditzu and Seventeen flew the coop.

A few hours later, the pair had an impromptu meeting with Super Buu, which ended with Seventeen switching allegiances. All three parties were wounded severely in the struggle, but the android and puttalin managed to carry on until they encountered Koola and King Cold. In the struggle, Buu was slain and Seventeen’s CPU was scrambled by a blast of electricity.

Driven insane by the malfunction, the android wandered until he encountered Paige, who he thought had been killed earlier (the woman entered the contest without telling him only to be slain in the first twelve hours). The two went on to kill three competitors before a meeting with Super Buu, also presumed dead, led to the death of Paige. Infuriated and going insane, Seventeen tracked down Super Buu only to be blown apart by the Teddy Bear Bomb to end his second Dante’s Abyss tournament at fifth place.

After the tournament, the android rushed to a hospital to witness the birth of his twins—Cole and Piper. Because of the slightly premature birth, Paige had to stay at the hospital for another week. During this time, Seventeen decided to take some classes in the art of shapechanging. It was after one of his classes that he would encounter Phoebe, a woman with a baby who she claimed was the son of Kirano—a man Seventeen though dead for two years.

Believing the woman after hearing her tale, the android promised to help her find Kirano once he finished his classes. Upon finishing school and mastering the art of shapechanging, Seventeen decided to participate in a revival of the old school World Martial Art’s tournament. He managed to emerge successful against two saiya-jin hybrids, a skilled reptilian warrior, and finally arrived at the championship finals. In that bout, the android fought an overly flamboyant Frenchman and claimed the title at the end of the confrontation.

After the tournament, the machine-hybrid found himself drawn to a city that had recently been submitted to an alien infection. Following a few days of observations, Seventeen entered the city—slashing and burning his way through a cadre of infected civilians as he fought to the core of the infection. It was there that he encountered several familiar faces and was shortly thereafter abducted by a group called ‘The Brotherhood.’

At the headquarters of the mysterious organization, the android managed to rendezvous with Kirano, who had been AWOL for nearly two years. The reunion was cut short by the Brotherhood, who sent the group of warriors-turned-mercenaries to the planet Arlia to fight a more advanced infection. At that city, Seventeen and a group of a few others fought their way to an underground suppression field, which they destroy—negating part of the Construct’s (the entity behind the infection) hold on the city.

With the field down, the other two groups were able to neutralize their targets. The three groups then met up at the epicenter of the infection, fought their way through the slew of infested arlians, and were subsequently teleported to a massive spaceship. It was there that they unraveled the mystery behind the monstrosity and proceeded to fight its human body on the bridge of the vessel. In the insanity, the android was mortally wounded by the Construct, who had become trapped in her human body by a half saiya-jin.

Sensing his inability to survive the exodus from the doomed vessel, Seventeen stayed behind to ensure the destruction of the ship. It was there, upon that centuries-old machine, that he perished alongside the half saiya-jin Bra, a warrior he was familiar with from several prior events. When he arrived at King Yemma’s, the android managed to get a one month reprieve from death to compete in Dante’s Abyss (and so he didn’t have to explain his death to his girlfriend).

In the contest, the android reached an all time low—he reunited with Violet just to lash out at her. During the game, Seventeen feel into an even deeper depression as his mind began to segregate into two consciousnesses. Amidst the duality, he encountered his former ally (now a hated rival) Minoshia, and instead of killing one another, the two traveled together for nearly a day before they ran into Violet and Bardock, the saiya-jin who had blown apart the android one year ago.

Giving into his rage, Seventeen blindly attacked Violet, which left him open to be blown up once again by Bardock. After this incident, the android returned to the check-in station and was sent away to King Kai’s planet to continue his training. Upon arriving there, he lashed out at Bubbles—racing the monkey down Snake Way. In the process, he hurled Bubbles’ into Hell in order to cinch victory from the dubious monkey.

After the race, Seventeen was instructed to hone his kaioken powers, which meant he had to withstand two minutes in the enhanced state. Despite a few failures, he managed to face his repressed guilt about Violet and mastered the ability.

Seventeen now faces the 8th of King Kai’s trials.

I don't want to feel the things that you do
Don't worry, I'll be fine
I just don't want this dream, wake me up inside=_
