Addons (Mods for WoW)
#1
Here are two Addons/Mods I use in WoW

MobInfo Mod

This link leads to a Mod that shows the health of the enemy mob that you are fighting, the % of it's health remaining. The Amount of dmg it does per hit..low and high. Calculates the % chance of item drops and records the average amount of money collected per loot.

MinnaStats

This add on is a damage meter and is mainly used when in groups to post the amount of damage, damage taken, healing done and healing taken. Comes in handy from time to time.

To apply these patches to the game after download Unzip these files in the interface/Addons file in your World of Warcraft folder.

Keep in mind to check mods to make sure that they are compatible with 2.0 A large patch just happened recently, and a large number of important mods have either not been updated (Auctioneer) yet or are still buggy.

I think the most important mods to get, at the very least...

Titanbar is probably THE most important mod, although there is FuBar and others that are similar, but I believe it to be the most popular. It adds so much to the game.

I also think you should get Atlas (a map mod for instances and other things and you can get loot enhancements as well so that you know what you are trying to get out of the thing)

Also, get Auctioneer when its updated, b/c it greatly helps you when using the AH.

There are quite a few others you should get, especially depending on your class, and others just make life easier, but when I started, this is close to the small things I had for quite a few levels, not actually messing with heavier mods till recently.

Raspberry: Make sure they explicitly say they're compatible with 2.0. If they don't, then most likely they haven't been updated for it (at least not yet).

I used to have quite a lot, but none of my current ones are working. One of my favourites, especially for my rogue, is where large numbers show over the top of cooldowns, counting down to their next use. Then there's a big flash to show that they're ready. Another mod whistles (actually a sound effect) when you've parried and Riposte is ready.

Fishing Box or whatever it's called is also a good one. Gotta have a healing/damage meter, too.
