It's honestly very difficult for me to go see a Military related movie. I live the life, so I'd rather not see it on the big screen. though there are good movies out there, they are just easy to pick apart.

I'll probably see this one however, has Jamie Fox and the Dude from Donney Darko.

Just saw Doom as well. Loved it. Scared the shit out of me in some parts though!

I never saw it, don't have cable, but in all honesty, it interests me in seeing how these movies/show match up to the real thing. Usually its not nearly as bad as it is in real life. A lot of the time you see people "turning" on others. Never reallly happens, at least I've never seen it. If that ever even got close to happening, that person would get a Section 8/Article 15 and be on their way out.

And in all honesty, being in the Air Force and all, we don't see nearly as much as a marine like Vegeta would see. The first five days we were out there we all slept in ditches we had to dig out....not exactly good for the back, but it does the job.

If anyone has military experience and/or friends that do, and they liked the movie, let me know!

I (probably along with every other Marine on this base) will definitely make an appointment to see this movie when it comes out here sometime hopefully next month.

This kinda stuff gets me semi motivated.

Well, that was a lot different from what I was expecting. It almost seemed like more of a comedy than a war movie to me.

That whole tirade of how to keep yourself occupied there just made me practically fall on the floor laughing. You thought he was actually going to stop talking about masturbation for once, and then he throws that in there at the end again.
