EVENT

This is where you all were when you first arrived, thrown into capsules. It's been deserted. Maybe only a few goons and guards are left, and they'll just tell you Brim evactuated the facilities. They don't know where they went, and were left behind.

There are ki rifles here for the taking, as well other tools and fancy devices. You can take anything (within reason).

The trio landed on top of the Storage Facility, everything seemed quite enough, the drone of the Zombies below seemed to dissipate somewhat coercing Uub?s interest.

?Would you look at that, it seems their stalking away.? Uub spun back around and walked towards the two standing by the locked roof top entrance. ?What you want the keycard?? he asked holding it out for someone to take.

?No, I?m just curious as to why they left?? Reijin said his midnight black eyebrows arching in surprise. ?I expected to kill hoards of those bastard?s.?

Kami nodded in agreement. ?I expected some action at the very least.? the elder Namek almost seemed disappointed.

Uub shrugged. ?We can?t all get what we want can we.? he jested as he swiped the card gaining them entrance to the facility.

?Those things got in!? a scared guard lifted his pistol out of it?s holster. ?They fucking got in, you all heard the reports, of how they wiped out the other buildings, feasting on us like lambs to the slaughter.?

?Shut it, suit up and take a squad to investigate.? the guard Captain spoke up from his leather seat. ?That?s an order!?

The shaking man nodded and left the office towards the equipment hangar.

?No wonder they left, the damn place is deserted.? Uub spat as they walked into a high ceilinged room with flickering lights. All around shelves stood erected with various amounts of equipment for any situation.

Reijin grinned. ?And their loss is our gain.? he said as he walked among the shelves eyeing up the various equipment.

?Look?s like they took most of the weapons with them, most of what?s left is production equipment for the damn show.? Kami shook his head in disbelief. ?So much for raiding all his weapons.?

Uub shrugged as he found a rack still bearing weapon equipment. ?I don?t know, there seems to be enough for us to take and use.? he hefted a Ki Rifle and checked the barrel, inspected the gun as a soldier would, grabbed extra ammunition, and continued to walk down the line of shelves scanning for anything else he could harness for use.


Moments later Uub came back confronting his two partners with a Ki Rifle, a cloaking device and a bag filled to the brim with ammunition cartridges, flash bang grenades, and shrapnel grenades. ?You two gonna just stand there or grab shit?? he said grinning as he loaded an energy clip into the rifle.

Reijin shrugged and walked away, his head vanishing behind a weapons rack. ?They got any porno??

[Kami]

Kami looked through the room. Guns and other combat accessories surrounded him, aside from what had already been hastily grabbed by troops on their way out. He did not really need any of these things to fight effectivly, but it never hurt to save a little energy. He grabbed a couple large ki rifles, one for each hand. Uub blinked hard "Those are huge!" Kami shrugged.

"They don't really feel that heavy." He cracked a smile. Slinging each gun over a shoulder he picked through a locker. "Perfect." he said to himself. Clicking the small device onto his belt Kami vanished. A moment later he materialized infront of Uub. "AHH! Don't do that!" Kami chuckled to himself.

"I love this thing. Let's see what else they've got here." A grenade belt made a nice accessory across Kami's chest, as well as a couple of ammo belts, one going the other way across his chest and one for his waist. He also found another key card in a locker. Resting on the top shelf of one locker was a slim metalic silver box. Kami quickly grabbed it and opened it up. "Oh...this is good." Sitting inside was a battle visor, all ready to go. Kami slipped it on and the display lit up. He had a scouter but didn't use it much, this on the other hand would be mighty helpful. He quickly activated it's memory bank, scanning through recorded battles with soldiers, hoping to maybe catch a training session of Brim - anything to give him more of an edge. Nothing was coming up but he didn't care, it was going to come in handy.

Kami cocked the two massive ki rifles, they began to pulse red light and emit a low hum. "Damn...I kinda like these."

Reijin tossed a porno mag over his shoulder, "Oh!...Umm, yes."

Finally, after a few moments of casual human biological research on the feminine species, Reijin tossed the porno magazine to the side. ?Guess I?d better suit up, eh?? He began to walk amongst the various aisles of equipment, giving a very in depth scan of each item. He found numerous battle visors, to which he simply shrugged them off as obsolete when compared to his LENS unit. Finding numerous flash-bang grenades, he pocketed them within his clothing in the same compartments as his normal stasis grenades. Moments later he found shrapnel grenades to add to his equipment.

He strode out of the aisle with two Ki Rifles crossing each shoulder, strung in a way so as not to hinder his movement. He reached the others, and bowed gracefully. Uub shrugged. ?What?s that matter? They can?t see me!? He activated his Cloaking Device and then began to move around invisible. Reijin casually reached to his right side and slapped Uub gingerly across the face with perfect precision. ?OW!? he yelped, reappearing. ?How the fuck??

Reijin shrugged. ?My LENS has a detection unit for that shit. I can see cloaked objects. I also have a Cloaking Device of my own. None of the ones that I saw here are any better than what I already have.?

The human casually pointed at a wall that had a few rocket launchers on it. ?What about those? Could be fun,? he spoke, grinning from ear to ear.

Typically, the Saiyan dismissed them. ?We more than make up for those things with our own powers.?

Kami came around the corner and slapped him on the back, right next to the Ki Rifles. ?Then what?s with the guns, Solid Snake??

Reijin gave him a quick look. ?To conserve our own energy. These babies should do a lot of damage on their own before their own power sources overheat and require cooling down. This should enable us to save our true strength for a more prime opportunity, don?t you think??

The other two nodded, just as two guards kicked open the door and ran in, two guns pointing directly at the group. Reijin gave them an unconcerned look as they yelled at them. ?What the hell is going on in here??

The Saiyan yawned and continued tightening all of his equipment down. ?Just getting ready for the war that is bound to happen.?

One of the two men slowly began to walk forward, gun aimed directly at Reijin, as he spoke. ?How the hell did you get in here, and what exactly are you doing??

Ignoring him, the Saiyan looked at the others. ?So does anyone know exactly where we might find Gabriel then, if he?s not here??

Kami shrugged as he checked his own equipment. ?Perhaps that watchtower that we found on the map. Unless we can find something out from these guys.? He gave a casual thumb towards the two guards.

Reijin gave them a dry look. ?Yeah, I had already forgotten about them.?

?I?m not kidding! What the hell do you think you are doing?? One of the men shook his gun violently in an attempt to intimidate the group.

Apathetic, Reijin coolly responded to him. ?Taking these. Do you have a problem with it??

The man stepped back a bit, and then sputtered, ?Of course I do! Brim will have our heads if you take those things and just walk out of here with them!?

The Saiyan gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. ?Yeah, but Brim isn?t here, is he? Where exactly is he, anyway?? The raven haired youth raised his eyebrows inquiringly.

The man looked back at his partner, who shot him a look of emptiness, and then looked back at them. ?Well, we aren?t totally sure. Brim dropped in here, took a bunch of shit, and then just kinda left us. He told us to stay here.?

The other man walked forward. ?Yeah? When there were six of us,? he said, somberly.

Uub questioned him, ?Six??

The first man nodded. ?Hell yeah. My best friend was killed by one of those fucking zombies. As soon as Brim left, that massive horde of undead flesh eaters appeared and attacked us. It took us forever to finally get them to leave, and only after we lost the other four members of our team. I still don?t know what finally attracted their attention.?

The second man placed his hand onto the first man?s shoulder. ?Chill, John.? He gave them his attention before continuing. ?In other words, we were left here to die.?

Kami gave a grunt of disapproval. ?So if he left you here to die, where do you think he went??

The second man tossed his hands up a bit. ?We don?t know,? he answered simply. ?All that we know is that he left. He never told us anything about how to contact him. I don?t think he intended for us to live. I think we were supposed to simply slow those creeps down for him.?

Uub glanced out of the window. ?Well, something tells me that they aren?t going to be staying away from here. Do you have any form of vehicles or anything here??

John nodded and pointed towards the back of the room. ?There?s a secondary vehicle bunker back there. It has a few armed dune buggies in it. All they need is one person to drive them and then the passenger seat has a rapid fire Ki Rifle on its door while a third person can sit in a small swivel chair in the back of the vehicle and fire a heavy assault Ki Rifle. You can charge the blasts on that one and take out half a city block if you wanted, right Chad??

Chad shook his head. ?The damage isn?t that extensive, no, but he?s only exaggerating slightly. The point is that those things are pretty strong for being on light assault vehicles. They were intended for use in case of any weird shit happening, and I definitely think this qualifies. There are also large cases on the back of those things with more ammo, grenades, and other small equipment that you might need once you leave here.?

Reijin slapped them both on the shoulders, smiling. ?Boys, you?ve just made my day. I say that you guys take one of those things and get the hell out of here. This place isn?t going to last much longer against those hell-walkers.?

Chad looked at John. ?Well, we don?t really have anywhere to go.?

Kami spoke up. ?I?m sure there has to be some emergency escape location that you guys are supposed to go to. The point is that anywhere is safer than here.?

John slowly shook his head. ?I don?t really know about that. I think here is pretty safe??

Reijin held up his finger in response, and a slight glow illuminated it. ?I beg to differ. In approximately ten minutes, this building will be exploding and taking out most of those things with it.?

Chad slapped John on the shoulder. ?Are you driving, or am I??

The Saiyan smirked. ?Good call. Shall we be on our way??

The group of them headed out to the bunker and looked around at the vehicles. Uub was grinning hysterically as John and Chad took off driving out of the exit bay. He slapped his hands together and looked at the machine all over. ?Who gets to drive this baby??

Reijin looked up at him from his position in the driver?s seat. ?Who do you think? I?m the one with the map. Anyways, I?m sure you kids would prefer to man the guns, don?t you think??

The Namekian flashed him a toothy grin and climbed onto the very back, seating himself comfortably into one of the swivel chairs. ?You know me too well.? With that, he began playing with the buttons on the gun.

Uub shrugged as he jumped over the right side door and dropped down into his seat. He grabbed the gun and began to spin it around, making sure that he had a grip on everything. Reijin looked to his side and pleasantly adjusted a small mirror, then looked to Uub. ?All set??

?Hell yes.?

Reijin?s eyes flew over his shoulder as he looked to the war blazoned Namekian in the very back. ?Ready for takeoff??

The green warrior flashed him a thumbs up as he pulled his battle visor down. Reijin turned the key and the machine roared to life. He slammed the pedal down, and the dune buggy immediately kicked off, rushing out of the building with a startling acceleration. Reijin couldn?t help but think to himself just how much they were going to enjoy these things. It was only proper. They didn?t want to chance getting into a fight after having wasted all of their energy in flight. They were only doing what was absolutely necessary.

Reijin screamed out loud as the vehicle topped the peak of a small hill and completely lost all connection with the earth, floating in the air for a moment and then hitting the ground again, the shocks taking most of the feel out of the impact. He slid the vehicle to the side in a power slide, and then floored the pedal to the direction of the zombies.

Driving straight towards the crowd of them, Uub began to fire his vehicle Rifle at the walking corpses, attracting their attention. The creatures began to emit a low pitched moan as they began to all turn around and shuffle towards the car as it drove through the group, shooting down zombie after zombie. Reijin laughed as Uub shot him a look. ?Think we?ve pissed them off yet??

They drove the car over another hill and heard a small pulse eruption from behind them. They quickly looked over their shoulder to see the Namekian grinning like a demon in the swivel chair as he turned from side to side firing out pulse balls from his heavy assault gun. The balls struck the earth behind them, exploding and throwing up large mounds of ground and flinging zombies into the air. Kami?s fist through itself into the air in a form of victory gesture, and he spun around to look for more.

Reijin finally turned the vehicle around again as he saw a massive wave of zombies walking towards the vehicle. ?Ok, I think we?ve gotten their attention now.? He slammed the pedal to the ground and the machine popped up a moment onto the two back wheels. Then the dune buggy was flying down the hill once more, leading the crowd back towards the storage bunker. Entering the front garage, Reijin?s eyes took in the detail of the massive amount of explosives that they had rigged around the building itself. He felt that they had done a damn good job, from his viewpoint.

They entered through the front and immediately burst out of the back exit as the throng of undead began to pour into the building itself through the front entrance. Reijin?s car leapt over another small mound of dirt and he found himself plowing directly into a couple of zombies that were still behind the building. He sped up as quickly as he could and drove fiercely for the hills behind the building. Kami yelled over his shoulder at them as they were getting away from the group and Uub looked over at him. Kami?s assault gun was shaking and glowing a cold blue color, whereas the Namekian himself was glowing a bright yellow from anticipation. Reijin nearly had the nerve to say that he was tickled pink.

Kami finally squeezed the trigger on the assault gun as he saw the wave of living dead begin to once more exit the building through the back. He knew that the group was now mostly inside of the building or around it, and he aimed the gun directly at the building and then released the fully charged blast. The beam that exited the gun shook the entire vehicle, nearly flipping it despite Reijin?s expert handling, and Reijin spun the vehicle in a slide to the side so that he could get a good look at the damage.

He saw a massive beam of energy that was nearly as competent as those created by his own hands fire towards the building. As soon as the beam struck the building, a massive explosion rocked the very ground all beneath them, creating a minor earthquake all around them and quite possibly in areas even further from them. The blue energy dome surrounded the building itself as the fiery explosions from the inside weaponry began to repetitively go off, ensuring that everything within range of the building itself was completely destroyed and cremated with no chance of survival. Reijin?s teeth glinted in the wind as he gave a cocky smile. ?Guys, I am so loving us right now.?

Kami spun around in the chair like a kid released in a Pok?mon factory. ?DID YOU SEE THAT SHIT?? he screamed, throwing both of his hands up in the air. ?THAT WAS? Say it with me? BAD! AAASSSSS!?

Uub gave his Saiyan partner a look. ?You know, I have to agree. That rocked.?

Reijin smiled and shifted the vehicle back into gear. ?Well, we aren?t calling it a night yet, boys. We still have to find that angel. I assume that we head to the watchtower??

Kami yelled confirmation to the front of the vehicle just as Uub suddenly cursed. Reijin gave him a questioning look and the human snapped his fingers. ?That damn good porno magazine was left inside the building. Think it might have survived??

?Uub, I guarantee you that had even Vejita himself been in that building, nothing more than atoms would exist.? With those words, he floored the pedal as they drove off to the horizon.

Uub leaned back in his seat, one hand constantly on the firing trigger of his mounted ki gun. They had been driving for hours, with no sign of any living dead lurking within the night horizon. They had all fallen into silence, each one taking to their assigned positions, Rei continued to drive, his mastery of the wheel surprised the human. Kami on the other hand sat, both hands on his heavy assault rifle, his eyes closed as he meditated, feeling the surroundings with his mind.

?This thing got a cd player?? Uub searched along the front dash as he pulled a capsule from his belt. ?I?m thinking heavy metal no?? he popped open the capsule and flipped through a cd book pulling one of his liking out.

?Come on Uub, we need to be able to hear, these things have no power level, our ears our are best sense to hear them.? Reijin spoke the truth and Uub knew it, he was just bored out of his mind.

?Your right? the human knitted his eyebrows together as he turned the book back into a capsule and stored it in his belt. ?I just need something to do.? he snapped his fingers as he unbuckled himself and jumped in the back next to Kami. A metal crate was strapped next to his seat.

?Holy shit!? Uub almost jumped up out of his seat as he looked inside th crate, four more Ki Rifles glistened in the moonlight along with belts strapped with ammunition and grenades. But what caught his eyes was the flame thrower he now held in his hands. ?Check this shit? he pulled the trigger, ejecting a stream of flames into the night sky. ?Fucking right.? he murmured strapping it to his back along with his rifle.

?Anything else in there besides rifles and grenades?? Reijin hollered as he down shifted and power slid onto a knew course.

?I?m checking.? Uub replied lifting a bottom panel out of the crate. ?Holy shit!? he smacked Kami on the shoulder and pointed at the bottom of the metal box.

Kami frowned as he looked at Uub then down at what he was pointing at, and an evil grin spread across his face. ?Leave it to Brim to store a high powered explosive, what do you call that back on Earth Uub?? the Namek lifted his battle visor to take a better look at the metallic casing.

?A Nuke.? he sputtered as he carefully placed the panel back atop the bomb and closed the crate. Reijin slammed on the breaks and spun around.

?Your joking!? he unbuckled his seat and jumped in the back opening the box to look for himself. A small grin spread across his face. ?Well, well.? his grin spread into a smile flashing his pearly whites. ?Look?s like we won the grand prize.? he said closing the panel and lid.

?That?s a force of two megaton?s, it would take one of us almost all of our energy to generate that much explosive power.? Uub chuckled as he slid back into the passenger seat and rubbed his hand?s through his hair.

?We?ll worry about it later, were only a few miles away from the Tower.? Reijin slammed his foot on the gas and did a little burnout as he shifted gears. ?YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!?

As dawn approached the trio sped towards the tall tower in the distance. ?Well, there it is, and we don?t even have to worry about those damn things for another 12 hours.? Kami said lifting his hands from his gun and standing up, his knee?s bent to absorb the shock from bumps.

Rei nodded as the building loomed ever closer. ?Still, we don?t know what other dangers lurk inside.? He slammed on the breaks and spun the vehicle passenger side towards the front doors of the building, Uub ready with his gun as Rei pulled the key from the ignition. ?Well, were here, let?s check the place out.? He ordered jumping out of the drivers side and hefting his rifles.

?Right behind ya.? Kami said checking his own weapons.

?So who get?s to blast the door?? Uub grinned pulling a grenade from his belt.

?So who get?s to blast the door?? Uub grinned pulling a grenade from his belt.

"Allow me." It was a female voice. They all looked around...who the...?

BOOM!

The door literally exploded, sending the three warriors back in the fiery surprise. Reijin was the only one quick enough to roll onto his feet. Sensing a hostile approach, the saiyan lept into the burning wreckage of the entrance.

"Agh! My eye!" Uub and Kami were up in a second, their stolen guns now hoisted up. They had heard Reijin's painful yelp. Then...

Someone giggled.

"I know that laugh..." Kami stepped forward, moving into the smoke.

The two moved into the watchtower, at the bottom floor. Katel Dezmon was giggling with her smiling sister, Akira. Reijin was holding his eye, cursing up a storm. "That fucking bitch burned my eye!"

Kami and Uub shared a glance, and both burst into laughter as well.
