Some of you know already that I've been planning on going on a trip, I likely posted here, whether I did or not, I'm excited regardless ^^.

At first I went to aircanada and since october I've been planning this. The price went up and down. The person I'm visiting, well, we were originally gonne do it near July, moved it to April, moved it to May. We took a break from each other, and I figured it was just talk, nothing more. Well, a few weeks ago we started talking again, and since I got a job I decided I'm gonna do this.
My goal: $1,300.00, I could do it. One day I check the price again, low and behold it goes down to $1,100.00. Shit, you'd be excited too. So I think, hell, I'll wait until May 1st and it should go down again, right? My co-worker thought so.
I worked every day for 2 weeks, 80 hours, I knew I'd have enough. 400 + 600, definetly. I check the price on friday, and I cried, literally. The price went to $1500.00. What was I going to do? There was no way I'd let him pay for my tickets. We decided and agreeded that I would buy the tickets and he would pay for everything while I'm there.
My mom is awesome. She opened the phone book the moment I told her. There's a place down town that books flights. Unfortunately I just missed a sale, which is annoying. BUT if the woman told us of a very nice way to get a cheap flight to where I want to go. What do we do? We go down to meet her, yesterday.
She was nice. The price? $750.28 (she's going to call when westjet has a sale for tickets from saskatoon to calgary). She asked if I wanted to put down a deposite, and I'm thinking, is this it? I mean, there are other places...and she says Aircanada probabaly WILL drop their price. No, I wanted to take this deal while it was in front of me. I pay $150.00 and book my flight to England. I'm spreading my wings and leaving the nest.
Ok yeah maybe I'm a little too excited, I dunno about you but to me this is huge. I've never been on a plane, seen the ocean, or a mountain. I've never been on a train, shit I've never left my province. The furthest I've been from my city is this tiny ass town a few hours away. It's awesome, who can say that for their 19th birthday they'll be landing in London? I'll get to see castles and go to an actual zoo (trust me the zoo here just doesn't compare). The first time I finally leave this shit hole and it's to europe, and I'll be paying all by myself (for the flight anyway).
And if you think I'll be RPing for the 2 weeks I'll be there, then you are crazy. xD
If you can't understand the picture, it basically says:
Departure: Calgary [17th June 2006 3:45PM] --> London Gatwick [June 18th 2006 7:30AM]
Return: London Gatwick [1st July 2006 11:20AM] --> Calgary [1st July 2006 1:35PM]
Yeah, it's long and probably boring to some of you, but...BAH!
