?So this is what I?m supposed to get to come under our flag?? Nappa asked himself as he lowered his mid-ranged gun to its resting-place. The sign said Raditzu village, and from the looks of it, it seemed peaceful. That only meant Nappa could go in there and raise hell, which was his favorite tactic by far.

Garlic had told him to be peaceful about it, and he had to do what he was told. ?Set up the drills around the village, and begin talking peacefully. Oh and Nappa, don?t fuck up!? was the exact order he?d been given. The saiya-jin kept repeating it in his head as he motioned for his small company to move out.

The sound of heavy combat boots crunching the dead leaves rang above all other sounds as Nappa and his unit made their way down the small hill and into the village. Although It was small, it had adequate defenses, sporting a average sized wall around the village as well as a iron clad gate.

?Alright Paragus, take the big guns and set up camp up on that hill to the east. I will signal you if anything goes wrong, if nothing else you will be our trump card.? The saiya-jin warrior explained, as Paragus leapt to his left side to receive the orders.

?Yes sir, on the double. Alright, my company to the hill.? Paragus boomed, as he led a small unit to the east in a jog.

The remaining units along with Nappa continued down the hill, and as they drew near the village horn boomed throughout the valley. The saiya-jin elite noticed many guards had been placed at the gate, apparently to prevent warfare. ?Good Evening guards, I am Lieutenant Nappa, of the army united. I am here on behalf of our leader to work out terms of peace and protection. May I speak with you leader?? the bald warrior explained, keeping a good posture, and an emotionless face.

?Our scouts have been trailing many different armies, and you are the first to come to us. Our leader has given us orders to let the first army hear in to negotiate. Alright guys open up the gate!? The most decorated guard called out.

A few moments later, the average sized iron gate slowly creaked open. ?Our mayor is located in the center building, just follow the main road,? the same guard implied, closing the gate behind him.

Nappa nodded, and led his unit down the dusty trail. The houses weren?t magnificent by all means, but the town didn?t seem poor at all. It would be a nice addition to the army?s collection by all means. Many of the villagers were peaking out of their shutters at the unfamiliar guests that had just arrived.

?Well I will go in and speak to this mayor, I want you all to surround the building and wait for my orders,? Nappa ordered, lifting himself up the small staircase at the town center?s entrance.

Inside the center was a small waiting room that was full of what seemed to be diplomats, and at the main desk sat a portly man, with a massive lump in his cheek, and sported one of the largest mullets Nappa?d ever seen.

?I reckon you?s that there talker for you?s army?? the fat ass mayor spat.

Upon closer look, Nappa noticed a massive wad of chew protruding from mayor?s right cheek. ?Yeah, I?m the speaker of the army United, I am here to work out terms with you,? the saiya-jin diplomat in disguise explained.

?Well then, you?s better get talking or dat der army of you?s won?t be workin wit us,? the mayor explained, spitting a large amount of chew into a can to his left.

?We ask that you allow our army to have access to your village, for resting and possible defense purposes. While in return you will be receiving our complete protection from the other armies that may try and attack you. It?s a pretty fair and simple proposal, but I will tell you that our general is a short-tempered guy, and he?ll be all over your ass if you don?t make the right decision. Now I will leave you to make the decision, my unit will be camping out at the top of the hill in front of your main gate. I?ll await your messenger at that position,? Nappa explained, taking a deep breath half way through.

?Then I will send you?s a mail boy when I figure out jus what I?mma do den!? the mayor replied quickly.

On that note, the saiya-jin spun around and exited the building. Quickly motioning for his unit?s to retreat and the unit left the small village.

(OOC: a little long, but I enjoyed writing it.)

A messenger met a soldier half-way to the unit as Nappa and Garlic Jr watched from afar. The soldier was meant to escort the messenger uphill, but instead he only returned with a letter.

Quote:Commanders of the United Army,

We decline your proposal, and wish no further contact with you, or any other military force in this game.

Please leave at once.

Garlic listened to the clatter of weapons and boots outside his tent with grim satisfaction. He had just issued a command that sent his men scrambling. The question was: did he do the right thing?

Issue number one was sitting in front of him. A crudely sketched map of ?Raditzu Village?. The bastards thought they could remain neutral. The goddamned idiots. They were forcing his hand, making him do things he might regret. He had sent a messenger in reply. Not a ranking officer, just a simple messenger, with an Army three steps behind him. He would be joining the party shortly, but he had one more thing to do. It was another message, but one to be sent father out, to a ?soldier? in the employ of General Hiro. That ?soldier? would be his trump card if things turned ugly in the village.

Your services may be needed

That was all that was required in that message. Of course the one he sent down to the village was a little bit longer and hopefully far less cryptic.

I?m sorry to hear that. Unfortunately your logic is flawed. You say that you want nothing to do with my army or any army? Do you honestly think you will be left alone, even if we walk away? What happens when the Dante faction shows up? They are the representatives of a planet that has sold itself to war and murder. Will they leave you alone? What happens when The Outcasts arrive? They are a rabble of beast and vermin, an assortment of monsters. I doubt they will be as gracious as we. And Syntech? They are corporate pigs. Morality and compassion has long since been abandoned for pure gain. You are nothing but capital to them.

We can offer you a future. Join us peacefully and you will be protected instead of enslaved others. The benefits are numerous, the harm none. See to reason. I will be down to hear your answer shortly. Choose wisely.

Ah, but would they? Pride can do funny things to minds, as Garlic knew best. GJ gathered up his papers and strolled out of the tent. One of the two soldiers at his exit snapped to attention like a puppet with its strings pulled taut.

?Sir, your escort is ready, sir!? Garlic nodded but kept walking. The soldiers were forced to move with him.

?You got enthusiasm,? he told the one. ?I like enthusiasm. You get to carry me.? He paid no attention to the shocked expression on the man?s face as he leapt onto his shoulders.

?What?s your name, Private?? His reply was stuttered; obviously the boy was set off balance mentally by his forward CO.

?Demi, sir. Private John Demi.?

?Aright Demi, lets see what we need to do to get these backwater fools to listen, eh??

Quote:This is your final warning. Leave our village in peace.

Signed with a village seal.

Garlic knelt in down on a bed of ash. What was in that pile? Perhaps? a hand? The demon grabbed a fistful and raised it high, to watch his fingers open, silhouetted against the twilight sky. Was that someone?s skull drifting languidly down to the dirt, a snow of bone fluttering from his hand? Or was it just wood. Probably just wood. No one would ever really know. All these people? their lives? their hopes, dreams, thoughts? all surrendered to the hunger of his fire. His hatred. His pride? his?

?I need some licorice.? Garlic shoved that fantasy away with a stick of his sweets. ?I mean,? he sputtered though a full mouth, ?how could they be this unreasonable. It goes beyond convention. Its idiocy is what it is.?

?They probably think they?ll be left alone. Sir.?

?Bullshit. They know exactly what?s going on. They just want to spite me!? He ate another stick and calmed himself. That was selfish, that outburst. Maybe the private was right.

?If you say so, sir.? Garlic felt the boy?s shoulder tense and then release.

?You know if your back is hurting I could get off.?

?No, sir! I?m fine sir.?

?Now that is bullshit. But the kind I like.? The little man let himself fall backwards. He landed on his feet with a little flip.

?You?ll go far if you don?t get a bullet in you chest.? The boy gave him an odd look. Garlic returned a smile.

?Its true,? he laughed. The town grew nearer with each word. It was a wet blanket over his jovial conversation as they walked on, but the demon made the best of it. He could only do that and hope for a miracle. Or an assassin. Both would work.

Quiet footsteps, but not a soul around could hear them.

In a deserted alley behind Raditzu Village's Town Hall, a lone figure was moving steathily along a grungy brick wall.

"This'll do," a relatively silent whisper proclaimed.

Celipa halted, examining a vent about an inch above the ground. Carefully, oh so carefully, she detached the vent's cover and lowered it to the ground beneath her, softly; making sure not to let it make a noise. She squeezed herself into the vent's opening, her padded gloves preventing her hands from making any loud noises against the vent's metal bottom. It was cool in there, and she could see her breath.

Celipa's head was covered by no veiling, her eyes were no longer covered by the goggles she had worn earlier. Just her black jumpsuit, and her pitch black hair to match it adorned the woman's figure. The saiyan inched along the vent's metallic hallway, turning each of it's winding turns, and praying for an opening soon.

This opening came in the form of another vent lid, this time on the bottom of the narrow hallway.

Better check this out...

The saiyan woman's flawless eyes scanned over the area below her by peeking through the vent's slit-like openings. No one was down there - it was an empty hallway. She pulled the vent lid upwards with a quick jerk, and placed it quietly in the open space beside her.

A rope dropped down from the hatch's opening, and Celipa slid down stealthily. Her boots touched the hall's floor before anyone would've suspected she was there, and she reeled the rope in behind her, coiling it up seconds later.

"Now I've gotta find the mayor's office," Cel whispered nervously. She had very reason to be nervous. This was, after all, her first assassination. Her hand moved to the holster on her hip, and she pulled out a pistol. "I've just got to get in there quick, and get out," she reassured herself. She drew a quick breath, brought up her pistol, and crept stealthily down the hall.

OOC: Take it away, Burt. =D

Quote:General of the United Unit,

Your message has been sent. We will surrender. Please enter the village and we will negotiate.

Garlic folded up the peice of paper in his hand. He took a look towards the right, and sure enough, a female saiyan was walking towards the army, away from the village.

Blood on her hands.

"This Village is a real pain in the ass" Paragus said as he rounded up a regiment of 20 men to deliver orders he had just recieved. The saiyan was told to circle the small village incase of any outbreak or rebellious activity. He took a glance at the small army he had rounded up and gave them the sign to advance. A low, but very annoying mumbling was heard coming from right behind him. He turned to find a soldier shaking with his eyes closed humming prayers.

"You come here" Paragus yelled watching the soldier look around at other members of the regiment just to make sure he was in fact talking to him. "Whats the matter soldier" Paragus asked the man who seemed out of breath and very frightened.

"I dont wanna die sir" The man said while performing yet another sign of the cross while chanting under his breath.

"Whats your name" Paragus said placing a hand on the the young man's right shoulder.

"Francis sir or just Frankie.... sir" He responded obviously afraid of what was to happen on the battle field.

"Stick wit me Frankie, nothing will happen" The saiyan said meaning every word of it.

The small army halted before a huge a giant forest that would lead them safely around the village so they would be not be spotted by the eyes of its inhabitants. The army marched on once more and pushed there way through the forest. They had reached a tiny clearing when Paragus gave the ok for a short break.

Frankie broke off from the group and went on his own in the forest. He didnt want it anymore, the hardships of war, the constant moving, and worst of all the knowledge that if you didnt kill them they would kill you. Francis dropped his gun to the ground and began to sprint as far as way as he could go.

Suddenly in mid dash the ground gave way and he fell through a giant hole covered by camoflauge. His screams for help were able to be heard back at camp and the saiyan Paragus sprung into action.

OOC: More later

Hours earlier he?d been informed by a rather short, and skinny messenger that Raditzu Village had been successfully taken under the United army?s flag. The letter was signed by Garlic, the new Commander of the army, and with a PS note to take one hundred soldiers to build a fort.

The saiya-jin elite chuckled at his army?s success, knowing that he was a pivotal peace in this armies plan. He knew that with Garlic commander that he would be in a great position to succeed, and he would not fail him. One hundred soldiers weren?t a ton, but it was enough for him to build what was needed, and it was surely a start to his career as an elite officer.

Unfortunately Nappa knew that his most trusted companion, Paragus, was off on another mission for his commander. This meant the saiya-jin elite would have to pluck out a diamond in this massive pile of hay called an army. Forcing out a smile, Nappa tossed the letter into his small desk drawer and turned back to the messenger.

?Please send a message to Edmond, he should be located in tent number four. Tell him to come to me as soon as possible, with a sniper rifle and his most trusted scout,? Nappa boomed, as he watched the runt of a soldier take off out of his tent.

Moments later a tall black hared soldier waltzed into the heavily lit tent very calmly. He stood a good six foot five from the ground, with a large masculine figure. His left eye was tainted all green, Nappa assumed it was from some kind of accident, but it caught his attention as it glistened in the candle light. Quickly following him was the scout, who was a considerable more plain and average looking. Only standing about five feet eleven from the ground, with the normal army hair trim.

?General Nappa, you called for me sir?? Edmond asked, as he stood a foot away from his commander?s desk.

?Yes, I am making you my lieutenant, and your scout will be my lead scout. We are moving out in the morning, which means I want this number of soldiers waiting for me at the foot of the eastern hill tomorrow at dawn!? The saiya-jin elite commanded, in a sharp and powerful voice.

It was his first command, as a high official, and probably not his last.

A single saiyan sat upon the ground. Hustle and bustle still went about around her, but she was immune to it.

The tailed female held a bottle of water that she was splashing across her hands. It touched her hands pure...but it left with a red tint. Blood. And not her own, either. The mayor's blood only took a little while to wash off of her hands and when it was gone she screwed the bottle's cap back on.

No one aside from the general knew of the deed Celipa had commited deed. But rumor was flying around the camp, and it wouldn't be too long before the other soldiers discovered Cel's role in the army. Her pistol was stowed safely in it's holster, having influenced this squad more with one shot than any other gun within it.

Wonder when my next assignment will be.

Celipa stood up, yawned, and stretched. Now that she had gotten a taste of the thrill that sneaking and infiltrating provided, she found herself craving it more and more. She thought of maybe asking Garlic for another assignment, just for shits and giggles.

A soldier glanced over to her, and she tried to make herself look as if she was particularly interested in another soldier's fire, nearby. Since the assassination, the saiyan female tried to divert attention away from herself as much as possible. It was almost as if Celipa felt that everyone else was an enemy.

And for all anyone knew, they could be.

It wasnt long before the sprinting saiyan reached the giant hole in which his new friend had fallen through. The hole went deep down and there was no sign of his fallen comrade. The rest of the regiment had arrived and peered down into the hole as well. A well built man in his early thirties walked up to the saiyan and looked like he had news.

"Sir we have taken Raditzu. We can return to base camp for new instructions" The soldier said which was well recieved by the rest of the small gathering.

"I cant leave him, im going in" The saiyan said getting ready to dive into the unknown abyss by himself.

"We will go too sir" The soldier gave a glance around at all the troops. "All of us" he said emphasizing his feeling for unity and sticking together.

A few moments and they had begun to lower rope down the dark hole. Paragus slowly gilded to the bottom with rope in one hand and a gun in the other. He gazed around to find that the whole was infact an underground labryinth.

"My god" Paragus said as he stared around at the complex maze and the unique design. "We have to go find him, stay together" He said talking to the men that were being lowered in at that very moment.

They began to march again keeping there weapons close in case of anything or anybody else being down here. The saiyan tried to maintain a swift pace as he led the group through out the confusing labryinth. As they walked the group seemed to get smaller and smaller. A battle cry rang out through out the underground cave and the sounds of gun shots filled the air.

The feeling of fear spread like a wild fire throughout the saiyans regiment. They turned there heads wondering what was going on and who was firing at who. "Stay together" Paragus yelled trying to reassure the panicing troops.

"For Raditzu!" shouted the screams of unknown voices making there way to that area.

A group of rebellioners from the now defunct village of Raditzu had begun an assault on the saiyans tiny army. Under the guide of Paragus the troops took cover and engaged in combat with the crazed men. Shots of return fire took down at least four of their gun men. A man wearing a red head band emerged with a familiar face as a hostage. Frankie was being choked by the muscular right forearm of the gun men while his other arm had a gun pointed at his head.

"I will kill this united piece of trash, give us our village back" The crazed man said as he pressed the gun a little harder against the crying man's head.

"Dont do anything stupid man" Paragus said standing up trying to negotiate a deal with the insane individual.

A lone shot fired and the headband wearing man fell to the ground with a bullet hole square in his head. A scream from Paragus followed as another member of the rebellion shot up and fired a shot through the chest of Frankie. The man the saiyan had sworn to protect had died. Charged up with anger and rage he wildly charged the rest of the rebellion and ruthlessly ended it. The underground passage was now laced with blood and the bodies of all that remained in the village.

They marched on until they came upon an another hole that led straight up into the village square of Raditzu Village. He led the rest of the group through a quick moment of silence. Paragus looked up at the sky and knew that he was up there and was hopefully having the time of his afterlife.

"Go back to the camp" The saiyan said thinking about what his next assignment will be.

OOC: POOP! i was bored so i just made up a little side story thingy. Its over now so im ready for any other assignment that United needs me to do.

?Celipa, my sweet. How good to see you.? Garlic walked up beside the Saiyan woman and smiled warmly up at her rather bemused face. ?Excellent work in there. Top notch.?

?Er? Thanks?? The pomp Garlic nodded her dubious gratitude and reached into his cloak.

?Licorice?? The goblin pulled out his bag and motioned it toward her.

?Um. Okay. Sure, why not?? She pulled a twirled stick of it out and took a bite. Garlic watched her carefully chew it up. He grinned.

?Is that, or is that not the best goddamn piece of licorice you?ve ever tasted??

?I?d say its top five.? Celipa looked very amused as she said it. The entertainment only increased at the grimace Garlic displayed.

?Top five my skinny green ass. This is the perfect bag of licorice. Perfect.? Celipa feinted deep contemplation.

?Maybe it was a bad piece,? she mused, ?How about another?? Garlic tossed one up for her to pick form the air.

?Mmmhmm. No. Though it was slightly better. Maybe a bit too hard.?

?Here, from the bottom.? This continued for some time as they traveled through the village. Cobble stone and villagers made the atmosphere perfect. Like a walk through the park. They enjoyed it for a good while until a soldier walked up to the pair and saluted.

?Sir! Juice is on here way and has been informed of her duties.?

?Good good. We are leaving then.?

?Yes, Sir!? The soldier took off and left them alone once more.

?You better go. Should your excellent services be needed again I will call.? Garlic reached up and offered her his hand. She clasped it whole in her own and smiled back down.

?I?ll be waiting for the hour Commander Garlic.? The goblin waved her formality away.

?Call me GJ. And bye.?

?Bye,? she said pleasantly, and walked away. Garlic watched her departure? closely.

?Such a nice ass?sassin.? He reached into his bag to top the moment off with a lovely bite of candy. It was empty. The whore tricked him! ?Goddammit!?
