If I don't respond to your PMs, it's because I have a bad habbit of not checking them if the icon isn't orange.. so if it decides that your message is unread but not new, then I won't see it for a while. =(

Erm...you are wrong Goku Jr. It happened to me all the time when I got popupcop from Rad or somebody. It's because of a firewall or something like that. If you have a toolbar like popupcop or a firewall, turn them off and refresh and it will be orange. For a toolbar go to view then to toolbars and click the ones like popupcop or something you might have downloaded. Or it's a firewall.

Correct. It's only orange the first time you log on and they are there. After that, the notification will be gone, because you don't have anymore new messages, just unread ones.

2 for 2...but seriously, PopUpCop made it where it would stay orange or not be orange at all and I would have to take off the toolbar and refresh and stuff. It sucked.
