Bio, at last
#1
Rose Buuzumaki

Appearance:
Rose stands at 5’4 and was born with bubblegum pink hair, which she tends to wear in a messy, mid-length style.

Character:
Rose can be quite juvenile both in actions and in humour, but simultaneously has a sharp edge to her wit, and can be a sarcastic little bitch at times. Born with the power to stretch and contort her body, she uses it not just in fighting but constantly in her day-to-day activities, using it to reach things and make life easier. The casual manner in which she does this can strike some as disconcerting. She dislikes having to make serious decisions, preferring to keep her options open. Her fighting style reflects this, as she specialises in no particular area. She is … what’s the word? Flexible. She uses her two ‘state-shifting’ abilities liberally, using her versatility to her advantage and adapting to the situation, using whatever seems to work best at the time.

Background:
Family Matters, Rose’s full and detailed background story.

The 'condensed' story so far:

Super Buu. A bio-magical construct created by the wizard Bibidi, formed of the strange living substance Puttalin and imbued with the traits of various races in order to create the ultimate warrior. His whole life, he was plagued by Bibidi, who had tried to cultivate him into an evil person, and force his mind into slavery using the ‘majin’ spell. Running from the oppressive force of his ‘father’, Super Buu went on many adventures, and it was during this time that he met Violet, a human girl. Though at first he dismissed her as being just another human weakling, over time he saw that she – like him – was different. Grudging respect gradually became friendship, and one day, finally, love.

Shapeshifted into his human form, Super Buu conceived a child with Violet. But knowing that his father would consider the baby a rare opportunity, a fresh slate for his ‘conditioning’, he sent Violet to the Illumis dimension, a place where time travels much faster, in order to give birth to the child. Within a day on Earth, a year had passed in the Illumis dimension, and Rose had been born. Meanwhile, knowing that his father could easily read his mind like a book and find the location of the child, Super Buu found his way into another reality entirely, beyond the telepathic reach of his father. Violet returned to Earth, after which her fate is unknown.

In less than a month on the outside world, seventeen years had passed in the Illumis dimension. She was raised by the Illumins, a wise and scholarly race who lived thousands of years and used the slow passage of time to study the events of the world as they happened, in scrutinous detail. When she could escape from their dreary lessons, Rose dreamt of the outside world, wondering who her parents were and what it was the Illumins were trying to protect her from.

One day, she found out. Bibidi had found the Illumis dimension and formed a plan to take Rose that controlled every variable and left nothing unconsidered. As usual, he stayed in the safety of his own army, but possessed one of the bodies of his majin warriors in order to talk to Rose. He travelled with one of his squadrons and quickly overtook the Knowledgarium, finding Rose and convincing her to come with him.

He explained to the girl her father’s past, painting Super Buu as a villain and asking Rose to help correct his mistakes. Bibidi promised the girl power to take revenge on her parents in exchange for her servitude, to enter into the majin contract. Rose refused, stating that if she were to take revenge, she needed no help. At this, Bibidi tried to take over her mind forcefully, but was stopped by a telepathic echo left by Violet. Violet’s echo explained the truth of why she had been left in the Illumis dimension, and revealed Bibidi as the manipulative bastard he was.

Together, Rose and Violet managed to destroy Bibidi in the telepathic dimension, killing him without even having to be near his body. But the echo of Violet was too destroyed, leaving Rose to find her parents for real. With no reason to keep her in the Illumis dimension any longer, the Illumins sadly sent the girl – who had become as their daughter – on her way. Rose went to Earth at last, and in her mind a dream was born, to follow the way of the warrior as her parents had.

To this end, she sought out a martial arts mentor. The Illumins had given her the name of such a man, who she tracked down – Master Dog. From him, she learned how to fly and manifest energy. But before she had even had time to relish in her newfound powers and freedom, Rose found herself kidnapped and forced to compete in the twisted reality TV show, Friend or Foe. How will Rose get out of this crazy predicament? Find out next time, on DRRRRRAGON BALLLLL CCCCC

Done. I always loved how you did the "Dragon Ball C" bits. Nice to see that hasn't changed.

_=So wake me when it's through
I don't want to feel the things that you do
Don't worry, I'll be fine
I just don't want this dream, wake me up inside=_
