Custom Technique Approval
Lightning God's Annihilation Strike

A heavily body-based corkscrew punch that magnifies the user's inherent strength by supplementing it with his or her chi. The technique expels the user's spiritual energy like a drill as the punch is thrown, allowing the punch to not only deal incredible damage, but also to pierce normally resistant barrier defenses like energy shields.

[Requesting price for this as well as the upgrade, with Ki Specialization (sorry, just wanted to remind staff, if its not Kaden that does this) in mind]

Ki Panel

The Wizard, by "magical" means, can produce numerous energy constructs that are shaped like square/rectangular plates. They float about him, sometimes in an orbit, and are controlled by Oliver's sub-conscious. These 'Ki Panels' come in a variety of sizes but are usually no longer or wider than two feet. They serve as active defense barriers, capable of defending against low-powered Ki-based offensives; not to mention most physical threats, because they--like the Ki Globe--are durable designs. And like the Ki Shotgun, they are currently produced as an involuntary defense mechanism. They can stack in layers, to defend against stronger attacks - such as your average Ki Wave.

Upgrade
Oliver learns to control the panels consciously which results in a few extra quirks. On weak opponents (such as the average Earthling), Wizard can use the edges of the airborne constructs offensively as a cutting weapon. Also, he can maneuver them in such a way that they act as steps; a possible substitute for super-jump and flight (albeit a much, much slower one).

Obviously inspired by source material, but Wizard and that character have little in common.

Focus Beam - An interesting utilisation of Orion's ki specialisation that does no damage at all. The saiyan fighter charges ki at a certain frequency in his hands before his chest, then thrust them forwards while calling the name. The resulting energy beam will not do any damage; however, whenever it collides with an opposing force, it will gain strength, the faster the object is moving, the quicker the beam gathers strength. Eventually, if given enough time, the Focus Beam will push back the other object, no matter how fast or heavy it is.

Also, if Orion were in Oosaru form, would he need a custom tech to fire energy beams from his mouth?

Hadoken: 20 XP. Price is a bit higher because it has a dual function.

Lightning God's Annihilation Strike: 14 XP.

Ki Panel: 12 XP.

Upgrade: 20 XP.

Focus Beam: So Orion has to keep the beam trained on an object for a short period of time and then it shoves them back? 13 XP.

And no, you wouldn't need a Custom to shoot beams from an Oosaru's mouth. That would just be Ki Control/Spec.

Quick question: so if I want to upgrade after purchasing Ki Panel, I just subtract the difference? (May be a dumb question) Or is that 20 XP on top of the 12?

On top of.

Eek. Thanks.

Suppose its not that much when I've compiled 10 points in one round of Friend or Foe.

Buuzumaki Whirlpool

A signature attack created to honor both of her parents. To execute it, Rose charges ki into her whole body and twists up like a rubber band, wrapping her arms around herself. The longer she charges and the greater the coil, the more powerful the resulting attack. When unleashed, Rose's body rapidly 'unravels'. This causes her to spin at breakneck speeds, and if her arms are outstretched then they will batter any opponent in range. She often lengthens her appendages to increase the battering range of this attack, or adds a leg into the mix whilst standing on the other.

MEGA EYE LASER FIRE: Szar looses a lightning-fast blast of ki from both irises simultaneously. They lack any real stopping power, but the can sting. A little.

Travel Teleportation will remain 75 XP.

Taking someone with you using Travel TP will probably be somewhere around 50.

That last one is fairly off-hand, though, and subject to change.

Just so you're clear with Focus Beam, it's also intended to be used against ki blasts. Does that alter the price?

So lets say Joe shoot a kamehameha and Orion stops it with a Focus Beam. What's the intended effect?

That the Focus Beam would act similar to a normal energy beam (ie. power struggle), but the beam would slowly push it backwards. The Focus Beam itself would do no damage if it was left long enough to get that strong, but Joe's own energy might hurt him if he doesn't stop the flow.

So the Focus Beam automatically wins?
