Correct me you other grammar whores, but I think the I-S-E combination makes the ICE sound, not IZED sound.

I really don't care to know. I like being a grammar-whore with American grammar enough, don't really want to get started on Australian/British/etc. (But try and pronounce civilized in a British accent. Sounds like ice. And last time I checked, "our" and "hour" weren't pronounced like "or" and "whore" respectively.)

Anyhow, I only saw bits and pieces of Kill Bill, but he was really good. It's sad to hear about this.

English is the most bastardized language we have. There are plenty of words that have the letter s that are pronounced as z's, like "eyes" and "nose."

Anyway, I absolutely believe that this was just an attempt to masturbate gone wrong (if you were going to hang yourself, would the noose really be attached to your junk?). What an embarrassing way to die.
