Hebi Wrote:Sorry for the double post last time. Didn’t mean to do that but in my absence since then I came up with some clever moves. At least I think so.

Ki Strike- the ability of the user to surround a limb such as his feet or hands with energy. this increases the output in damage of his attacks. this charge can be held but drains the character of energy equal to the amount he is putting into his attacks.

Teleport Ki- The ability to warp ki blasts around a battle field giving slightly more control over the movement and patterns. The user can use this to change an attack to warp back at its own user or warp his attacks from one location to get closer to connecting with his target.

Teleport Object- the Ability to warp an object as to strike a foe with it or use it to block an attack. A prime example of this would be a small boulder. The larger the object the more draining it is on the user.

Warp Lock- This is the ability to form warp holes to catch an opponents limbs in to hold them for a period of time. The more the hold is continued the more draining it is on the user. The draining aspect also depends on the strength of the captive being held. Struggling can cause slight damage to the captive. These are teleporting holes that merely teleport the targets limbs into a realm of stasis. A significantly stronger character can simply just break loose of this hold causing less damage then a weaker person struggling against the hold.

Teleport Strike - 22

Ki Strike - 13

Teleport Ki - 50

Teleport Object- 15. It should also be noted that teleporting objects doesn't make that object stronger. If someone could break a boulder with no effort, then teleporting one at them isn't going to make it any more dangerous.

Zader Wrote:Cross fire: charge your ki for as long as you want and when your done release a balst of little ki balls, depending on how much you charged you ki. it then goes out in a circle around the person.

Z blast: Charge your ki for 10 seconds and then waze your finger in a Z shape motion. when done push out the area wher you traced the z and release a z shaped energy beam. this wastes little energy and doesn't do much damage but can stun your enemy for a few seconds so you can get away.

Cross Fire was already priced at 18.

Z Blast - 22

Mal Nova Wrote:Vaccuum: Using his ability of the wind, he can create an oxygenless globe in areas. The Oxygen deprived Vacuum eliminates Ki being used(Ki has oxygen, I assume... why else would it go boom?)

It's a cheap trick but the orb which would be.... 15x 15 radius. It can choke those without rebreather...

And at the same time, energy that passes through the orb is lowered. UNless by a Wind Ki user, as they can manipulate the travel....

Vaccuum (sic) - not allowed. You can't just say "no one can use energy here but me" for a Custom Tech.

Thanks but could I get warp lock reviwed. It isn't on the list ^_^

Sorry about that. I intended to go back to it because there were a couple of points I wanted to bring up. Obviously that didn't work out too well.

How many Warp Locks are you intending to be able to hold at once? Just one at a time? Fifteen? Also, the price will be pretty severely affected by the inclusion of damage to the person being held.

One to four(one for each normal individuals limbs) and each one has it's draining effect on the target which is basicly the total of the hold. Each warp takes a small portion depending on the target being held. This way he can effect different targets at the same time to a maximum of four targets. Normally This will require some what of a concentration which can be broken with a significant attack from the user.

Quote:Ex.

A target goes to attack hebi. In respone Hebi locks the limb(s) that was going to be used in this attack in suspended limbo persay. The person is now stuck. A normal punch not being to straining would not break this hold but concentrating on an energy blast of great proportion would.

The only good combo I have that would not break this would be tele-object. Anything else at my disposal so far except basic attacks would break the hold as he has to concentrate on a much more potent attack.

Stuff like that needs to be put in the description. If that's the case, I'll put it at 25.

I apologize for that but I will remmber to include it next time around but for now I think I am reletively set for awhile. I'm going to try and take a break from move making any more moves. At least until someone else gives me something crafty to try.

Kinetic Reflex – When someone makes a surprise attack on her, her psychokinetic ability comes into play and her power works on impulse to her subconsciousness, stopping an attack from striking her. It works as a temporary defence mechanism. The technique is useful in preventing sucker punches, or those who try to attack her from behind by surprise.

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

Do you have any way of reasonably detecting surprise attacks?

No, but I wanted her psychokinesis to act on its own impulses. Kind of like in naruto, when sand would guard Gaara without him even realizing it. The only difference being that kinetic reflex would not act when she's aware of an attack.

I think Foresight (or possibly Ki Sense, though not so much) would be required for that.

Armored Core:

While Metal Defense can create shields to block incoming attacks on the fly, it isn't reliable all the time. By seeping liquid steel under his skin Vad coats his muscles. This layer of liquid metal remains fluid until struck when it hardens into solid metal. To avoid injury as soon as the section of used metal hardens and the blow stopped or reduced it dissipates and is expended as used energy. Only one layer can be made and it cannot be repaired. It must be used completely or removed entirely before it can be remade. The time to remove it is quick, but to reform it during combat is stupid and leaves Vad exposed as he needs to channel his energy into carefully coating his muscles.

Fighting to the bitter end is an advantage when your opponent does not wish to perish.

I don't get it, personally. is it like, a liquid until it gets hit, then it armors that part of the body for that one hit and then becomes useless until remade?
Reply
Basically, it's a combination of reactive and ablative armor.

Some techs I'd like to check out. New char will have Light Ki and prob Regeneration:

Light Grenade: A sphere of glowing light that can be tossed wherever, and after a few second explodes, releasing an intense amount of whichever color light, or darkness. Light explosions last only a moment or two, while a darkness explosions lasts up to ten seconds in the area.

Clinging Darkness: *Name* creates a sphere of lightlessness and attaches it to a target. All light within 5 yards of the target is neutralized, rendering them unable to see while also marking the target in a big ball of blackness.

Light points: Creates a beacon of light/darkness that engulfs an area of approximately 15 yards. Multiple points can be placed, and with a flash of light or two and some quick movement, the user can confuse an opponent as to which sphere he is in, allowing for surprise attacks.

Weld: Creates a point of extremely intense light, generally on one claw. This light is bright enough to leave large dark spots on the vision of those who look at it directly, and to a lesser effect looking at it indirectly. This point of light also generates a large amount of heat, capable of slowly cutting through thick metal and similar barriers, and burns on contact with skin.

Strobe sphere: *Name* launches a large sphere of light which alternates many times per second between very bright and total darkness. This sphere fires a large number of small flares akin to a strobe light throughout the area, making *Name's* movements much harder to track.

Flash Masenko: A straightforward standard beam attack, with the added effect of a bright flash of light as the attack is released, possibly blinding the target long enough for the attack to hit if they happen to be looking at the attacker when the move is used.

This one doesn't need Light Ki or anything, but I kind of like the idea and want a tech that uses PP depending on how spendy it'll be:

Kapu: The user creates a ball of Ki in front of an outstretched arm, bracing it at the forearm for extra support as he fires a powerful beam that drains a significant amount of energy and 2 PP.

Regeneration:

Burst Regen: Instantly regrows a limb(could I get cost with and without it taking 1 PP?)

Grievous Regeneration: So long as one cell remains, Tallow can return from being blown to smithereens at the cost of 3 PP and considerable exhaustion.
Reply
Light Grenade: I assume the burst (if light) acts as a flashbang, disorienting the opponent. Obviously darkness just eliminates their ability to see (and possibly disorients them).

If so, let's say 13xp.

Clinging Darkness: How long does it last? Def. changes the cost either way.

Light Points: 15xp

Weld: 15xp

Strobe Sphere: 10xp

Flash Masenko: 18xp

Kapu: Depends entirely on how powerful the blast is. Please give deets.

Burst Regen: w/o pp: 40xp w/ pp: 15xp

Grievous Regeneration: I... don't know. I'm not sure if a) you need a tech for it and, if you do, b) how much something like that would cost. I'll have to get back to you.

Cluster punch: you put 5% of your energy into your fists causing them to glow light lellow almost crem colour. whn your fist hits an opponent hard enought the energy makes your oppenent stunned for 3.5 seconds. this is giving you a little bit of time to plan your next attack.

Glacier - Encasing herself in a thick, dense block of ice, Sage is able to find respite from direct attack; the frozen tomb would have to be destroyed in order for further harm to come to Sage. This technique can also shield allies from potential harm - or restrain an enemy.

Northern Lights - Instead of making the temperature plummet, Sage saturates the air by displacing moisture and chills it, before rapidly warming it back up, creating a thick blanket of fog, sharply obscuring visibility in the area. A constantly present mist feeds the fog, which Sage manipulates to throw disturbing shadows and form shapes with the clouds. An excellent tactic for frightening or confusing the enemy - or getting him lost. It gets its name - although somewhat tenuously - from the glittering particles that dance within the mist. Unfortunately, if there is no moisture to displace, the technique is worthless.

Frostroot - From the earth sprout deadly spears of ice that form in twisting, gnarled shapes, like the roots of a tree, but capable of lashing out at a chosen victim. Sage can produce them virtually anywhere, and in large quantities, to strike out from almost any direction. This is one of Sage's most overtly aggressive techniques.

Grip of Winter - If the ground has been frozen, Sage can cause the snow or ice to literally reach up and grasp at the ankles (or anything else near to the ground) of a foe in order to restrain them. Even if unsuccessful, the sheer demoralizing effect of an amorphous shape appearing from the ground itself to attack someone can have a serious impact.
