James Wrote:One measly one this time 'round. Perhaps it'd help if I explained a bit more? The way I want this played out is that Analyze is a passive ability that's continuously active. It works when James runs into another person's character who he finds interesting and proceeds to visually dissect, gaining an idea of the individual. He can then replicate that person's personality, gestures and movements (how they walk, stand, etc.) with the exception that he can't mimic voices. So far as its use for combat my plan was having "representations" of attacks from a copied character. For example... Ander's X-Ray Vision and Piper's Ki Net. Because Ander's X-Ray Vision isn't a physically manifest technique, it isn't something James can replicate. Piper's Ki Net would have James simply firing off a volley of uncontrolled blasts given the "freezing" element of the attack would require a deeper, unseen control that isn't given physical shape when Piper is using the move. So the restrictions would be anything that can be outwardly seen otherwise James isn't able to see the various inner workings of the technique. This keeps from needing "Mimic" and "Mediumship" in the equation and still offers room for flexibility. Oh, and each of the "technique representations" will be Custom Techs going under different names, paid for in full.

Thanks for the clarification.
To be honest, I don't know if you'll need a custom tech for the ability. You're more or less sizing up an opponent and doing your Mimic-less best to copy them. If you wanted it as a custom tech to make it official, I guess I could price it at 5xp. The higher ups are free to overrule this.

Yeah, was debating whether this would be considered a Custom Tech or not given it doesn't really do anything. I mean, I could add a thing or two that could probably give it a bit more in the sense of it being an actual technique. Could even include that ability to perform voices of another characters or alter James' ki signature to match that of the person he's mimicking.
Thread and Needle Mastery:
The thread and needle, commonly used for tailoring needs. However, it is an ancient lost chapter of mystical Martial Arts that used thread and needles for targeting acu-point, applying acu-pressure or performing medical acupuncturing. The needle is sharped at the tip and designed to target the weak points of ones body, whilst the thread enables the user's firm control over the movement on the needle. With this skill, Zhu will be able to perform immediate/emergency medical treatments, while at the same time be able to seek out an adversary's weak points and do some serious if not fatal damage. -Life Chaser/Soul Stealer Needle (Zui Ming Duo Hun Zhen) The ability to unload needles targeted towards the enemy's pressure points as a disposable weapon and applying enough pressure to either fatally wound, disable or irritate the opponent. The name derives from your ability to freely toss out or pull back the weaponry and continuously keep the attack at a constant pace. These Zui Ming Duo Hun Zhen are also commonly poison-tipped by its owner, Zhu. -Recovery Needle (Hui Hun Zhen) Using the ancient method of acupuncture, the user of this skill may attend to emergency injuries or relief tension in many joints of one's body. This skill is mainly used for medical or recovery purposes and is commonly employed by Zhu to treat immediate bone or joint injuries. -Silk Worm Defense/Shield (Tian Can Jian) By using the large amount of thread at Zhu's disposal. Zhu is able to create a shield that encompasses his body and keeps him from taking damage for a limited amount of time. The defense is further amplified by the application of Ki and the synthesis of the two techniques. Just like last time, I would like to know how much XP for each technique and if I need to pay more XP for the entire package. ![]()

Metallurgy - Richard can oscillate the molecules inside a metal object, thereby superheating it. This can be done remotely or by touch, but the latter will heat the metal faster. Also, the larger/smaller the object is, the slower/faster it will heat. If enough energy is applied, the object can melt.
Requires: Psychokinesis, Metal Binding Psionic Blast: Concentrating his invisible Psychokinesis, Rich can fire a powerful buffet of psychic energy. (more or less a Big Bang attack without the giant energy explosion) Requires: Psychokinesis Mind Reader: The capacity to read someone's thoughts. They can only be the thoughts currently running through someone's mind; he cannot drudge up old memories or explore the target's brain. Requires: Telepathy

Mandrake — Whenever there is plant-life around with large enough roots, usually limited to taller, thicker trees, Abby can use her connection to the earth and the lifeforms that are directly connected to it to rip up a section of root and invigorate it with ki. At this, the root is tossed at the opponent projectile-like, screaming at a high-pitched volume for the duration of its use. This serves as nothing more than an irritable distraction.
Gaia's Fist — (may require Shapechange) — Abby has become in-tune with the soil beneath her, to the point that she can actually harden her fist into a stone-like state, allowing her to hit harder than a normal punch. At this stage, the Fist is slightly flimsy, and breaks back into Abby's regular fist at first contact.

Trueshape
Prerequisites: Transform When Sigfried takes another form, he cannot be so easily forced from the transformation. It will take something of significant pain or other mental distraction to force him from the shape, no longer a simple bop on the nose.

I'm going to throw Analyze down as more of a personality item rather than technique since there's no use for it as a Custom Tech or, if there is, very minimal. If after someone finds I need to pay some into it, I'm completely fine with doing so.

Vad Wrote:Trueshape - 35. Just know that it will vary upon who you fight. It isn't a guaranteed fix. Well, yeah. I would think anybody of much higher Power levels would pretty easily inflict enough pain to distract him. The levels of concentration I was thinking about would be about those equivalent to holding something of moderate weight in a single hand. If you get hit hard enough, you're gonna drop it as a reflex to being hit, and the pain that causes. Not like, beaten bloody and dry or anything.

-Recovery Needle (Hui Hun Zhen)
Using the ancient method of acupuncture, the user of this skill may heighten their senses and threshold for pain by targeting the corresponding pressure points. This skill may also be used to relief pain while no actual medical recovery is happening. ![]()
