Custom Technique Approval
Kei Wrote:Bend and Break- Kei will target the opponent’s very bones forcing them to twist and turn. This causes the enemy great pain but will not kill them. If enough energy is put into the attack can crack or break the very bones it is targeting.

1PP per extra body part targeted(not limited to one opponent.)

Block and Return- Using psychokinetic energy Kei will bend an enemy attack in such a way that it either stops it completely from hitting him or returns to the sender. Ki usage varies depending on what he is using it against.

Grip and Grind- Kei will psychokinetically grip an opponent from a distance forcing his limbs to hold together forcefully. The more energy put into this attack the tighter the grip becomes.

1pp per opponent targeted with the ability.

Rip and Rend- Kei will use a psychokinetic blast which will disperse over an opponent’s body pulling at its very flesh. Depending on the amount of energy put behind the attack these can be simple yet annoying cut or blade like markings that are left.

Bend and Break - 60 XP

Block and Return - 30 XP

Grip and Grind - 25 XP

Rip and Rend - 15

Will a physical custom technique, much like a rush/combo attack prove purposeful, or, would it be just as effective to do a series of successful attacks that is not an official technique?

Anything turned into a custom technique is considered to be more powerful than a non official technique. But you also have to take into account Combat ability.

The cure is a shotgun, the cure is whatever blunt instrument one can salvage.Whomever finds themselves too proper will be the first to perish. And you know nothing that matters now.

For reference, the original version of these awesome attacks is on page 11, and costed 14 XP. Would it cost less if I buy them as a set?

Buuzumaki Whirlpool V2

A much more powerful version of Rose’s signature attack. Like the original Buuzumaki Whirlpool, Rose starts by twisting up tightly and wrapping her arms around herself. Then, after having built up enough energy, she lets loose and spins at breakneck speeds with her arms outstretched. By releasing ki from her arms at the same time, Rose can create a swirling maelstrom of energy in the wake of her arms that will sweep up and batter anyone unlucky enough to be in the caught in it. The downside of this increased power is that it takes much more time to gather sufficient energy than the original, much quicker Buuzumaki Whirlpool, and it also leaves Rose more drained.

Buuzumaki Whirlpool V3

By all measures, Rose’s ultimate attack. It is pulled off the same way as the previous renditions, but this time Rose releases twisting arcs of energy from her arms that expand outwards and unleash widespread, inescapable destruction as she spins around. It takes a long time to gather sufficient energy for this attack, and it leaves Rose very drained.

Sigfried is capable of shapechanging so naturally that even his mind appears to be that of his assumed form is probed by mental arrays or when he projects his own mind upon others.

Would like to add 1 PP of use to Buuzumaki Whirlpool V3, to do it justice as Rose's ultimate. In this case, I'm glad it hasn't been approved yet. >_>

Death: Trafford utilizes his psychokinesis to charge his opponent's body with energy. If the opponent's entire body cannot be augmented with energy, then a portion of his body will be charged that will result in a fatal outcome, probably the head, neck or the torso. After rapidly imbuing the target with his power, Alexander detonates the energy. As opposed to an energy attack, which detonates on the surface of the opponent, Trafford's energy is literally augmented into his opponent's body, this results in the target's body being obliterated, resulting in death. (This is an Instant Kill manuever. This attack expends 1 PP)

Colossus: This attack can only be performed once Trafford has triggered his Tier One transformation. This wraps Trafford's body in a layer of his own golden energy. Alexander will use this attack as a last-ditch effort to salvage his chances in battle. After he is transformed, Alexander is free to release energy attacks without the help of his psychokinesis - he can hurl energy attacks using the energy that is wrapped around his own body, rather than using nearby objects. This attack releases all of his available energy in these energy attacks, which flare out from his body as large, homing mortars. Simultaneously, Trafford uses the entirety of his stored energy to psychokinetically charge everything in a small radius. The result of this attack is a massive explosion that encompasses an entire small area, generally swallowing his opponent, while energy mortars rain down upon his foe. (Uses 1 PP)

Long Range Package Alpha - Simone's main profession is long range murder; she's a long range weapons specialist, or sniper for slang. Her weapon of choice is, of course, the long range rifle. Early in her career she grew attached to a rifle produced for specialized operations on the Planet Frost. It was assigned to her during a three month stint in the Arctic regions of Planet Earth. Capable of hitting targets just under two miles away it's over sized slug rips apart any unsuspecting target in it's path. After discovering her 'gift' and because of her attachment of that rifle in the years that followed, she can form it completely out of her energy. Everything down to the scope and bolt action system are produced through her Ki. The weapon actively drains her energy when in use and takes about twenty seconds to prepare. Each shot also uses a portion of energy from her pool.

Long Range Package Bravo - When things go awry and you know your target is inside that blasted structure you've been scouting there's only one way to flush the rats. Explosions. Simone calls upon her deep well of energy to create a portable bunker busting rocket. Shoulder mounted and weighing about 65 pounds this one shot device sends a compact and dense orb of Ki directly into your target. Line of sight is required and this puts a massive strain on Ms Lanciotti.

Strike Package Alpha - When you're just too damn scared to leave your foxhole, you can call in the slightly bigger, but not so big guns to help out. When Simone just feels like turning a building into a parking lot or creating fear among her enemy she charges up a dense orb of energy in her hand capable of dropping twenty quick blasts in a random pattern. Using her affinity for energy she directs the orb directly above her target and closes her hand into a fist. Upon doing so it unleashes the twenty blasts that rain down randomly to create havoc, confusion, and decrease morale.

Strike Package Bravo - It's that time of the month and you really don't feel like screwing around. You want to get back to reading that good romance novel. You don't care if the main character is a bimbo you want her to have happiness dammit! This is the problem solver and is something that should never be used indoors. When Simone wants to turn up the heat above a pesky mortar strike she can extend both arms in front of her, fists touching side by side. Aiming at her target she uses her upper body like an antennae and gathers large amounts of energy. Forming mostly at her chest and shoulders the energy is then expelled out through her arms like a rail gun creating a beam of energy capable of shattering most basic shielding and creating a decent size crater. Someone just order a new swimming pool? This is extremely tiring and should only be used once and in dire situations.

Perfect Armor (uses Invulnerability/Metal Binding)

When he needs to, Garbanz can create a set of thick, full-body armor around himself in a matter of moments, but as someone who takes pride in his craft he hates having to rush it. By spending a bit of extra time, Garbanz can make his armour even more powerful without greater loss of movement by fine-tuning the balance and thickness of the plates. The longer he spends perfecting it, the more powerful it becomes, though truthfully - as any real artisan knows - there is no such thing as perfection. As such, there are 'diminishing returns' on his extra craft time, meaning that the longer he spends the more he's just tweaking rather than really improving. And of course, perfecting his armour becomes impractical in situations where Garbanz is constantly switching between his normal and super heavy armor.

And here's one I probably won't be taking for a while. I ASSUME I can't already do it >_>

Living Metal (uses Metal Binding)

Though not his speciality, with practice Garbanz has learned to use his binding more effectively as an actual combat tool, rather than simply making things. To this end, he can create 'living' metal tendrils from his armor that can strike and grasp an opponent, block fists, and even carry the saiyan around like a terrifying metal spider.

Oo, better post this one before I forget it:

The Releaser (uses Metal Binding, Ki Control)

Using any melee weapon, Garbanz can charge ki into the metal and release it at will from the blade (or in the case of say, a hammer, the bit you whack someone with). Normally this energy explodes outwards in all directions, but Garbanz can also release it as a basic beam. As such, it can be used both as a special melee attack or as a regular ranged move that allows Garbanz to keep hold of his weapon. As an added bonus, fighters rarely expect it the first time, though fighters with Ki Sense won't be fooled.

Wind Tinkering-(WindAbility and maybe Telpathy partially?) Maleficus uses his ability to manipulate wind and creates subtle pressure in areas or around the target. It allows the Namekian to nudge, or if the being is willing actually control or steady a comrade

Puppet Master- (Prequisite- Telepathy, stealth) Using his abilities, the user creates unseen puppet sticks , and cords and attaches them what ever and can manipulate the object with a sought. Objects with their own ability to move do have the ability to sever the connection...

Ring of Power (uses Ki Specialization, Psychokinesis)

Because of her inability to control the expulsion of ki shortly after the awakening of her powers, Iris has trained herself to fuse all of her ki into a ring she wears on her index finger. She has the ability to utilize the energy inside the ring whenever she wants. If the ring ever leaves her finger, her physical form cannot be detected by scouters or other ki sense methods; however, because the energy is not connected to her body, she begins to slowly wither away into nothingness.

Energy Quake (uses Psychokinesis)

Through her feet — and through any other body part that happens to be touching the floor beneath her — Iris can expel ki energy into the ground. She can control the spot on the ground where it is positioned most heavily, and then supercharge it, causing it to explode, forming a sort of "earthquake" type sensation that may destroy the floor, and knock any enemy standing on that spot off of their feet.

Perfect Armour - not sure if that needs to be a Custom Tech.

Living Metal - 10 xp

The Releaser - 7 xp (assuming it's just conducting a normal energy blast through metal)

Ring of Power - Is a temporary Dark Ki effect. Can't have that, sorry.

Energy Quake - 22 xp

EDIT: Argh, wrong account, but this is Orion.

If I took away the temporary Dark Ki effect, what would it cost? Or would it just be role-play fodder that I didn't have to have a custom tech for?
