Don't get too interested in it. I don't mean to be that guy, but it's still a pokemon plot. While they use an interesting angle, it's almost as shallow as all the other ones.
Any added depth really comes from the character development, surprisingly enough.

Oh I'm fully aware. I totally don't mind shallow stories, as long as it's fairly entertaining - Dragon Quest is a good example of that.

That's actually a very accurate analog.

Agreed. The character development seems to be where it shines, which is fine by me.

I appreciate that they're trying to give the story more depth. I'm sure they know that their audience is not just school kids at this point.

Managed to beat the third gym this morning (along with catching Victini), and I'm all kinds of excited. The third gym was fun, and I definitely love the look and feel of the city.
Btw, anyone got Pokemon Black? Was hoping to trade a Solosis for a Gothia, if anyone's interested.

I've been mostly playing Dragon Age 2. Luckily today at work I had absolutely nothing to do and my boss was out for several hours. My job is a tough one but someone has to do it.

Killzone 3 < Pokemon Black
Like we didn't already know that.
Also, the hardest fight I had was against a Preschooler. I'm ashamed and humiliated.

Memememe! Pal-code is in the first post. Just send me a PM giving me a time during the middle of the week, and I'll see what I can do!
EDIT: I am getting Pokemon-catching fatigue! So much stuff to do mid-game, almost kind of overwhelming. I sort of glazed over the battle subway, and skipped to route 16 to catch some more pokemon to grind.
EDITEDIT: Do eeet Vad, give in to your trainerrrr.
