Beat the Elite 4, and I'm a bit irked that I can't import Pokemon from my GBA games. I guess it's because they expected it to be played on the 3DS, but now I have to steal someone else's DS to trade my own Pokemon? GAY

Kids shouldn't be playing pokeymans anyway. This is a man's game.

NOT LIKELY. ;-;

Well, since I have been playing Pokémon since it's original Red and Blue phase, the standard procedure of "find the best and win the day" has gotten a bit monotonous. So I decided to play through some of the older games with a bit more of a challenge.
My first challenge was to take on FireRed, playing the entire game with the first 6 different Pokémon species that I encountered. Mission accomplished. ![]() I am currently working on a restart of my Pearl version with the limitations of an all Steel-Type team, as well as my SoulSilver with an all Flying-Type team. I'll keep you posted on how the games are going. I will say that for my Pearl and SoulSilver, I used an action replay ONLY to obtain my specific 6 Pokémon in their lowest evolved state (except Scizor, because trade evolutions are dumb). I caught them all under level 5, and will be proceeding through the entire game with them.

LOL All Flying. Good luck. Electric Pokemon are going to give you some serious shit.

I swear someone posted that on Chubbs before. Either way, when I first read it IT BLEW MY MIND.

Just goes to show that meaning can be crafted out of anything.
Honestly, it takes a pretty sharp mind to put that shit together. It's obviously bullshit, but I'd watch that movie, if Aronofsky directed. ![]() Mal Nova Wrote:I do apologize for using the word rape. There are four separate definitions for the word rape, two of which describe vegetation...

So gaiz. Favourite type of pokeman?
It's all about electric, baby. My original Red team had Raichu and Zapdos, because ONE IS NOT ENOUGH. ![]() Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially.
My pimp team from the original games:
Gyarados(because fuck yeah) Blastoise Hypnos Raichu Hitmonchan(3 different elemental punches? yes please) Kangaskhan(not all that great tbh, but after the horrible exercise of catching it it damn well wasn't going to rot in a box) As far as favorite type of pokemon I'd have to go with Water probably. They tend to have a good mix of other elements in their ranks and they they tend to look kinda cool

I digged Psychic pokemon originally. You better bet I caught an Abra at the first turn so he couldn't teleport away! They need to be taught from the BOTTOM!
To be fair, Alakhazam ended up raping just about everyone. Are there any cool psychic pokemon in B/W? (if you say Munna prepare for a world of paiN) [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Articuno was on my original Blue Team. Articuno all the way.
EDIT: Also I really thought they would have spiffed up the game a bit. Instead of starting with Fire, Water, or Grass I'd love to start with Psychic. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Psychic is a reward type though. I don't care about them adding Dark type because they think anything can stop Psychic,Psychic is boss. Add one hard-hitting TM to deal with dark and it's gg with 6 psychics, especially with split-type psychs.
Starting off the game with confusion or something similar would make the first gym easy, and since, imo,it's usually the hardest one to beat given your relative lack of resources, there'd be no fun Well, maybe Drowzee since he doesn't get confusion until like, 17, but iirc he starts with hypnosis which is almost as bad

Add one hard-hitting TM to deal with dark and it's gg with 6 psychics, especially with split-type psychs. Okay so psychic was a bad choice, even then. What about flying or rock? Those two are commonly stopped flat. In Blue the first gym was only easy if you had Squirtle AND TOOK THE TIME TO GET WATER GUN! (Bulbasaur got Vine Whip toward the end of Moon Cave) I always chose Charmander and grabbed Caterpie for Brock. Once I had Butterfrie's confusion I was boss and easily smoked his rock pokemon. It just took grinding. EDIT: With Charmander it was a different problem. I'd grab Pidgey for Misty and get it to Pidgeotto. If I was lucky I'd grab a Clefairy for her as well. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
