I mean, are people still buying Annie skins? Is she so much more popular than, say, Soraka that the number of folks who will buy another skin, even if they already have one is greater than the number of folks who would go in for a decent Soraka skin?

I can guarantee you, if Riot thought a Soraka skin would be more profitable than an Annie skin, they'd make it.

I don't think Riot only makes skins according to what would gain them the most money. I mean of course it's an element of the decision, but I sometimes think they just make a skin to satisfy their customers in order for them to buy other products. I do find that these tend to have a somewhat sub-par quality though.

They come out with skins for money, although sometimes I think they make skins to cave to demands (like that Irelia skin). So if we just complain a lot on the forums, we might get our Soraka skin, although I'm sure it'll be awesome and sexy and nothing I feel like buying. Because irony is fun.

All that said, I'm buying that Annie skin, because it's fucking adorable.

I can't even tell you how cool I think it is that Surprise Party Fiddle is happening, and if ideas were semi-regularly taken up if they were good, I mean, how much better does fan service get?

Daeg as Jungle Malph, Mal as Nasus, myself as Graves.

The enemy team assaulted Daeg at blue while our pugs hurried to try to meet up. I gave up first blood, teleported to a minion in mid, and our team managed to nab four kills for the one.

We then proceeded to stroll through the rest of the game. I went 8/1/8, Mal was 4/0/5, Daeg was 6/1/7 by the time they surrendered at 25 minutes in. Their team tried so hard the entire time - phenomenal CVs and ganks at jungle camps, a super frustrating Alistar, etc. etc, and we just did not give a fuck.

So, after playing as Alistar against a much better one earlier, I switched to Flash and Exhaust. 7/0/3 =D and played with Greg and Sig. This poor Lee Sin I was solo top with kept dashing to me with his Q, getting pulverized, thrown back and hammered by my minions and me. Got him twice into tower range and exhausted ftw. Then proceeded to fight most of his team one at a time, killed two and flash out, only to have their Amumu bandage me. I thought I was fucked, and then our vlad saved me with like 20 hp and we basically went all top.

To quote our shaco "Fuck this this is boring, I'm going top."

What were you running on Ali before that?

I was mostly building support. The aoe mana regen thing, rushed Shurelia's. Then I realize my lane partners never amount to anything so if something needs to get done, all me. That's my main problem with most games I think. I expect useful lane partners, and more often than not they just handicap me.

I usually start with the mana manipulator as Alistar and let it sit there in my inventory until I need the slot for another defensive item. I never feel the need to build it into anything.

I went 8/6/23 as Soraka in a game with Sigfried, who was trying out TF. Our pugs insta-locked Xin Zhao, Warwick, and Wukong before we could even state 'Hey, we're going bottom, yadda yadda yadda. Needless to say, they demanded I go mid, and I told them to (politely) shut their mouths and never insta-lock. From then on, the Xin and Wukong were just the most irritating people ever. Like, 12-year-old irritating. We ran no mid, and despite the fact that we shouldn't have won, we did. I AP carried the shit out of that team. I 1v1'd their Jarvan and had their Gankplank fleeing in terror.

People deserve to lose games if they let the enemy Soraka just stand around and starfall them to death during team battles.

CDR boots, RoA,Mercury's, Frozen Heart, Shurelia's last. Holy hell is Ali fun like that. Tankyish, with some damage, and minimum CDs. Have yet to have a game where I don't feel like a bawss even while losing. Almost wanna put a phantom dancer in slot 6 if I ever get the gold though, just for the move speed(395 with 3 speed boots and 375 otherwise are you srs?) or maybe Lich Bane.

If Ali wasn't so goddamn boring, I'd play him a lot more often. He's wicked good.

If you want the movespeed, def go either Lich Bane or FoN on that build.
