Walking out of the sparring room, Android 20 and Krillen began walking back towards the main part of the space station. Gero had never been that much of a people person, he just wasn't very outgoing.
"Krillen, I think I'm gonna go look around the rest of the space station. I hope I see you again before the tournament starts." Dr. Gero spoke.
"Alright, I guess I'll see you around, Doc." Krillen answered and soon disappeared into the crowd.
Walking away from the noisy hubub of the main station, Android 20 began to explore some of the other passages through the station. He looked up at a large directory sign above him.

"I really need to get down to training before this tournament starts. Gravity training might even help me conquer that strange power I felt back on Earth..." Android 20 thought, remembering that fateful day.
He proceeded to walk to the left and eventually came across about 5 separate airlock doors. A brilliant flash of purple emitted from one of the chambers. 20 walked over and looked through the small port window. Inside was a white and purple changeling, a purple aura blazing about him. The alien rocketed off the floor, demonstrating a dazzling display of attacks and jumps.
"That person looks familiar, but I can't tell who it is through this window." 20 thought to himself. He thought about knocking, but he thought that would be rude. Instead, he unlocked the adjancent chamber and stepped inside. The android stepped into the cold blue room and walked to the gravity console in the center. It read 1X normal Vejita-Sei gravity. The doctor smirked, and pressed the small black buttons. Eventually, he got the gravity level set to 30X normal gravity, and then pressed enter. He instantly felt the gravity push down on his body, straining his joints. But the android didn't let that phase him, and stood up straight, back erect. Then, Android 20 let his white aura erupt around him. He then began an blinding frenzy of punches, kicks, elbows, and various other physical attacks. The gravity was slowing him down considerably, but 20 pressed on. Then, he pulled both hands back and formed two blue energy balls in each hand. Then slammed his wrists together, and the beam shot forth out of his hands. It travelled a total distance of about 5 feet before crashing into the blue tiled floor below and exploding violently. The doctor was blown backwards.
Damn.... I will need to adjust to this gravity before I attempt to really use my power. Because right now, it's effects just are too strong. he thought to himself. And so he began again with his blinding flurry of attacks directed at no one.

"It's been awhile, Burter. How have you been?" Said the mohawked warrior from next to the blue reptilian. Burter didn't response at first, simply picking off the loose scales that were slipping from his palm. He had almost gotten all of the shedding skin and wanted tog et rid of it before he went to rest. After a few moments, he looked over at Tapion to respond.
"Nothing ever changes for me," he noted, setting his hands down on the tabletop. "So I suppose that means I've been just fine." Tapion squinted, unsure of what the blue man was talking about. Burter decided not to endulge his curiously, and got up, walking away. He looked back at Tapion and then nodded...at his battle charger. Whether Burter was a sore loser or not, Tapion would want to watch his back. For his sake.

Even though Bulma's strides were a little less extensive then the blue giant's was compared to the mini Saiyan, Goten attempted to keep up... which wasn't too much of a work out... his legs extending as far ahead of him as he took step after step to meet with the cyan haired mother's own steps. His head tilted back slightly after mastering his keep-up speed he set himself at before smiling again, curiosity still buzzing about his mind as he began the bombardment of questions.
"So you're Bra's mommy? You both look a lot alike, did ja know that?" Goten's eyes were already lit with an energy enough that would put the Loading Platform's own power at shame. Since his questions with Burter had carried on with the reptile telling stories he wondered if it would have the same effect as with Bulma.
"And and and how come you have that 'CC' little thingy on you're jacket? Does that mean you own CC- er I mean Capsule Corp?"
In the back of Goten's mind he began questioning something himself... that look Bra had stared off with... he had seen that sort of look from before with his travels upon Vegeta-sei, those missions he had gone through always ended up sooner or later with that distressing look then something happened... something that changed another indefinitely. The smile still drifted about his lips although his mind was playing with the thoughts, blocking it out entirely after the questions left his lips.

After talking with Goten for a little while, he let his youngest son go off on his own to explore the loading dock. Goku smiled as Goten skipped off through the complex. It was good to see him; he was nearly sure he would never had seen him again on King Kai's planet.
"Don't get lost now," Goku called out as he left, but he knew his son would be fine. He fought with him against Brim and still lasted a long time, doing an exceptional job for his age. It was just his parental urges wanting him to keep safe. He turned back to his old Namekian friend and answered his question.
"Well, since we left at the RoSaT, I've fought the legendary Super Saiya-jin, I died, I went to the afterlife and learnt to teleport anywhere in the known universe, I trained with the exalted King Kai and learnt how to create a ball that could demolish any living creature." Goku gave a big goofy smile. "Other than that, not much." Kami chuckled and lifted his drink to his lips.
"I'm gonna see if I can find Gohan anywhere here," Goku told Kami. The Namek nodded in acknowledgement. Goku got up to his feet and started across the bar. He saw Raditzu again at the other side of the bar. He made a mental note to go say hello to his brother again. It'd been a while since they had spent any real time together. Unintentionally, he bumped into the back of someone in front of him. He stumbled back and looked up.
"Sorry about... hey, it's Burter!" Goku said in surprise.

Uub placed the mug down, "Another one sir.." he shook his head standing up...* I've had enough to drink...I need to keep my wits about me * looking over to the bar he saw Bra talking to her mother, Paragus and 16 doing what ever it is they wanted, standing he grabbed his bag and pulled the string closing the top. * I need to be alone *
The air for a landing dock was rather clean, and the musky scent of the bar was wafted away by the fresh small breeze that caught him in the face. There was no where Uub really wanted to go, nothing he really wanted to do. "AHHHHHH!!!!" the frustration of nothing to do was getting at the Human, he wanted this damn thing to start or was the frustration something else?...with out anything in mind he set off down the road, hoping to find something or someone to ease his mind....

Bardock shook his head as he stepped out of the teleportation tube. A distinct tingling sensation was crawling all over his skin. Having your atoms rearranged could do that to a person.
The Saiya-jin took full view of the platform. There were so many people, he recognized hardly any of them. A few tall green heads were wandering around, and Bardock figured that his old "friends" would probably be here. He didn't like large crowds, and looked for the nearest bar to get plastered. Strolling over, he took a seat, ignoring everyone around him. He didn't know these people anyway, why bother to associate with the ones he was going to kill or the ones who were going to kill him?
"What'll it be?" the bartender asked.
"Give me a bottle of something hard, and whatever you have to eat," Bardock ordered dully. Despite his previous resolve, he couldn't help but glance around him.
I must be a crazy stupid bastard to enter a death tournament after only being revived for a week, he thought to himself.
The bartender slid him a bottle of vodka with a shot glance and a plate of hot wings. Bardock had never had hot wings before, but they looked edible, so he chugged down a quick shot of vodka and began to eat. Every three or so pieces of spicy chicken was accompanied by another drink. If he was going to die (again), he might as well enjoy the few pleasures of life before he did it.
After three plates of wings and a full bottle of vodka, he was completely satisfied. Now all he needed was a place to sleep it off. Bardock stumbled awkwardly towards the sleeping barracks. He could hold his liquor, but he had been shot at, knocked unconscious, and verbally kicked around today, so he wasn't at his best. Glancing around, he saw a face he recognized: Nail. The righteous Namek was going to compete, how fitting. Bardock decided to ignore him. He'd settle things eventually.
Suddenly, a small child crossed his path and nearly threw off his balance. A flash of orange and blue went right past him. Bardock did a double take. That kid...he looked so much like...but...no, he was probably just seeing things.

Zarbon decided to train a bit now, and he remembered about a gravity chamber in here. So Zarbon headed to it, and entered quickly.
He jumped in and was weighted down quickly, he stopped a warrior nearby, and walked up, seeing who it was.

After their little spar with each other Pan helped the android get back onto his feet. He had underestimated his opponent and that was his downfall. "You are a pretty good fighter, maybe we could fight again sometime, but then I will not underestimate you." The girl companion only nodded and grinned, she was very happy to have won against a foe that could stand chance. The girl was exhausted and before even saying a word plopped onto a nearby table and almost fell asleep. 17 decided to let the friend of his sleep for now, and he would go 'mingle.' He suddenly remembered that he had seen somebody enter the bar in the corner of his eye during the little 'fight.' It was a blonde woman, she seemed familiar. the female was somewhere in his artificial memories that were given to him in hell. He couldn't remember her name or who she was, but he just knew that he had to go meet her.
The fellow fighter was in a corner by herself and had her eyes shut, but was still awake. "Hello." Hell Fighter 17 said. The woman slowly opened up her eyes and once they were half way she shot them upwards, she looked confused.
"Hello..." it sounded as though she were confused by the person saying 'hello' to her.
"I'm sorry about that, my name is 17. she looked at him even more strangely, but decided not to say anything about that.
After a few moments of silence she responded by saying "They call me 18." the two looked at each other with suspicious looks. There was a awkward silence for a few moments until she spoke again. "You wanna fight?" It would have been strange to another person but it seemed to be just that for the moment. The fighter from hell never nodded or said anything, but complied with a grin on his face, and that was good enough for the two.
"We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl."

"Goku," Burter replied. Normally he look very grim and bitter, but after seeing his companion from the afterlife, the reptile couldn't help but smile. He and Goku had grown close before Burter's sudden revival. "I see you made it in one peice as well." The two started to walk together down the hall, just talking as they went, catching up on old times.
"Ya know, Goku," Burter brought up, "I saw your kid...Goten. This is going to sound rude, as its not my place...but is it wise to let him compete? I mean...this is going to be life or death, Goku. Life or death. Are you willing to let him take the risk?"
As Goku began to answer, Burter couldn't help think about Bra. Why was Bulma letting her fight? More imporantly...why was he letting her fight? Then it clicked.
Because she'll do it anyway

Jackie all of a sudden appeared from the green teleportation tube that transported him to the ship. Like Krillin, he was not very used of this kind of travel, but he was going to have to adapt. Grumbling all the way, he exited the tube and moved his gaze to the monitors above him. They showed him what was happening in the public places of the ship. The largest activity was in the bar so the martial artist immediatly walked his way towards the place. The barroom was cheap and the music that played was out dated. Which suited the elderly human just fine, due to the fact he disliked the racket which the younger generations listened to. He sat himself in front of the counter and he said:
"Water, please."
As the strange bartender got his order, the former Sensei looked around. There were lots of powerful fighters walking around. This gave the human thoughts. He needed someone to help him in other to come trough DA. He turned to the bartender:
"Excuse me, was a tall young man here? He is a human with blond hair."
The bartender immediatly knew who he ment:
"Oh....that guy. Yes he was sitting right there where you are, trying to make a conversation."
"Could you please tell him to come to this bar as soon as he returns?"
"Of course. Ill let him know."
Jackie thanked the person and seated himself at one of the tables. As he drank his water he watched the people around him, trying to figure what kind of a person are they.

The docking bay floating over the Earth was what Reijin expected as he appeared off of the teleporter. It was very metallic. He never could really enjoy these things. He shook his dark hair, and stepped off. He looked around and saw many different races all over. He saw Namekians, Changelings, Humans, and even a few other Saiyans. Some races not even he could identify. His only assumption was that all other planets had a similar teleporter that took them here.
He walked forward, pushing his way through the crowd. Contemplating about who might be on the dock, he heard a noise.
"I have arrived; you may all bow before my greatness!" Reijin spun around, recognizing from where the voice came. "So how are all the muscle bound fighters doing today." He was right. The purple hair was unmistakeable. It was definately Trunks.
He chuckled. "I suppose fate has led us to another meeting..." He wondered exactly what their meeting would be like. He equally was curious as to meeting his other various opponents... but there would be time for that later. First, he would announce his presence to Trunks.
He walked forward as the half-breed stepped from the tele-pod and walked forward. He purposely stepped in Trunks way, and spoke up, making sure he was noticed. "Well well... Guess who we have here? Do you truely think they will bow before you, Prince Trunks?"
"I'm gonna fuck that unicorrrrrn"

The demon slowly awoke, his dream's where peacefull, some thing he hadn't endured for a long time. His eye's slowly came in to focus as he sat up. He looked towards the bedside table & picked up his len's holder, shaking his head he kept them closed up. Standing, he slid on his belt, placing the item's in there respectfull places. He walked quitely out of the room, looking down the hall way, it reminded him to much of that underground tournement he was involved in. But he shook his head.
This isn't the place.. He turned then walked toward's the main deck. Aimlessly wandering around the place..

Android 20 began to feel the immense strain of training in 30 times normal Vejita-Sei gravity. His internal generator was firing as fast as it could, so that the android could continue training. His muscles were bulging, and his veins had started to rise up. But yet the mechanical Dr. Gero pressed on into this seemingly suicidal training. He had set up a punching bag in the corner of the room, with a normal weight of 10 tons, but when amplified 30 times, it now weighed 300 tons. The doctor unleashed a blitz of blinding puches into the bag, knocking it flying from the pole that was holding it up, and the bag crashed into the opposite wall.
"Damnit. That's the third time. There has got to be a better way to hold that bag there." Gero grumbled as he walked back over and picked up the bag, slinging it over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. After proceeding to reattach it to the pole, he once again began his intense training. But inside, he knew he needed to be training even harder than he was now. He balanced himself in a one-armed handstand, and proceeded to kick the bag while upside-down. Blood rushed to his head, and the machine's head began pounding. Just when the doctor was about to collapse from the stress of it, he launched one kick that was just too hard. The bag split in two, and fell to the floor with a dull thud. Android 20 fell over backwards in exhaustion. His muscles ached, lactic acid had built up in every place imaginable.
"No, I can't stop to rest. I will get all the rest I need later on. Right now, I'm risking my life if I stop to rest." 20 muttered to himself.
The android picked himself back up and walked back over to the gravitron console in the center. The screen read "30X". He pressed several buttons on the computer, and set the new weight to "75X." Dr. Gero hesitated momentarily, but then pressed the "Enter" button. The change in gravity hit him like a thousand brick walls, plus one freight train. The force was incredible. His knees started to give out, and the doctor collapsed on the floor. His breathing was labored due to the fact that the very air itself weighed seventy-five times more than normal.
"Get UP you weakling. If you are going even think of surviving this tournament, you will have to be able to train in this level gravity with ease!" Gero yelled at himself.
Slowly, the android pulled himself up. His internal generator was working so hard, you could hear it humming from the energy. Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. Slowly, he took one step; the pressure built up in his calf muscle as he lifted it through the air. Next step, another step, slowly but surely the android began walking.
"That's it Gero, you're doing it. Now you've just got to accustom yourself to this gravity setting." he thought.

Wiping the sweat from his serious face, Piccolo landed on the ground and looked immediately to his left. His scouter caught onto a great power, one that was way beyond average.
?His ki has the capacity to raise to over 50,000,000!? thought Piccolo. ?How is that possible? How is it that these warriors are all hear and have such great powers, making me look like a child??
Piccolo started walking towards the ki source, trying to catch a glimpse of the barer of such a power. Suddenly, an image flashed into Piccolo?s mind. A human, no, not a human, something was different about this being. He had a tail, long blonde hair, and some sort of armor he had never seen before.
As quickly as the image had come, it disappeared. Piccolo seemed confused as he walked down the corridor, heading towards what seemed to be the bar. His scouter was picking up on the massive ki levels that where being suppressed, however the alcohol was letting Piccolo pick up on 75 percent of there max powers.
?This one is Yamcha.? Thought Piccolo as his scouter updated the information it was picking up on left and right. ?It seems that some of these people are loners as well, however, this weakens them. Maybe, just maybe, I can win over a few and join with them.?

After several minutes of tripping and falling flat on his face, Android 20 was finally able to move around normally throughout 75X gravity. Every living fiber within him was screaming out in pain, but the android part of him made him press on. After doing a couple thousand push-ups and pull-ups, as well as some leg lifts, the android was nearing the point of self-destruction. Pushing himself past such limits was incredibly dangerous to do, but time was critical. The ships would be leaving for Dante soon, and Android 20 had no intention going down without a fight. So he continued to press onward. His attacks became swifter, faster, stronger. He had finally gotten used to this extreme gravity and decided to try firing an energy blast again. He cupped his hands together in front of him, and formed a small ball of red ki. The ball increased in size, and crackles of electricity came from it. The android lowered his hands to his sides, and then, screaming at the top of his lungs, fired the beam forward. It shot out of his hands with incredible force, but sadly, began to arc downward.
"NO! FAILURE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!" Gero admonished himself. He poured even more of his energy into the attack, and the beam righted itself, but once again, began to descend to the floor. The doctor looked on in rage. The doctor pulled energy from every part of him, including his generator, and pushed it into the incandescent beam. The energy shot through the beam, speeding it towards the opposite wall. The beam collided with the wall, and erupted into a cataclysmic explosion. The doctor was blown backwards, his feet digging into the tile floor. As the wake subsided, the doctor dropped his hands to his sides, grinning from ear to ear.
"Now that I've passed that little barrier, it's about time to try to fly in this gravity setting." Android 20 said, releasing his white aura.

?I suppose fate has led us to another meeting?? Those words drained all of the jubilation of being around all the strong fighters competing in this years Dante?s Abyss, but it was hardly a surprise. All he could do at the moment was grin and bear it, despite the fact that it would give him great pleasure to start something right there and now.
?Oh Reijin,? Trunks replied with hesitation, and a strained smile upon his face. ?What a surprise, I didn?t realize they were just letting anyone join.? His words were unmistakably venomous and hate filled, and to the nearest bystander it would almost certainly make them a bit wary of standing near the two. ?About your early question, I really didn?t expect them to bow. Mind you I wouldn?t be surprised if some of them did- after all I know a person or two who?d be so willing to bend over for someone of stature.? He?d hope to hit home with that one, but just incase Reijin hadn?t gotten the clue; Trunks placed a hand on the saiyajin's shoulder and dug in his thumb. ?If you know what I mean.?
An awkward silence then filled the air, as Reijin and Trunks stood there face to face with the latter wearing a ghastly looking grin. Anyone far enough away from the two might simply see it as two friends; however, there was no mistaking the animosity surrounding them once you had gotten close.

"The changelings never stop amazing me, but I wish I could transform as well, and if he can do it, so can I!" Said Zarbon, but first he needed to get used to the room around him, as it weighed down on him as if he had a three million bowling balls on his back! So Zarbon started by trying to get on to his own two feet. Zarbon lifted his right leg upwards off the ground slowly, trying to get onto one knee. He started to bend it into a shape that he get up from, but as he tried he tripped, making him fall flat on his face.
"Ugh..." The embassed warrior said under his breath, sweating from the strain, he pushed himself back up, though falling again a few times, he managed to get himself up at the fifth time. Back at the one knee stage again, Zarbon's leg bent again, and he prayed that he would not slip. Zarbon didn't though, and managed to land his foot on the ground. Giving a sigh of relief, Zarbon managed to get up after five more minutes.
Now up on two legs, Zarbon threw a few punches out very slowly, trying to get used to the gravity.
"Man, I feel stronger already!" Shouted Zarbon in a bit of a laugh, though he was still tired as one could be and was sweating like a dog, and his muscles felt like he had been fighting an army of saibamen constantly for five years. Zarbon managed to lift up his leg for a kick, and also for the other leg, he was truely a slight bit stronger.
Now Zarbon was going to try to walk forward, he lifted his first leg to take the first step forward, though his veins nearly popped doing it.
"I need a break, I wonder how Cold is doing?"

Following his loss in a spar against the mowhawked Konat, Tapion, Android 20 once again returned to the gravitron chambers, ready to test his limits once again. Having fully been able to handle 75X gravity, Android 20 was going to push himself even further. He had just had his first encounter with one of the stronger competitors in this tournament, and if he had been beaten that badly, he knew he would die. So he reentered the gravitron chamber and walked to the console. Someone else had been in here after he had left. Somone weak. It was set to 5X gravity. Then, he felt an incredible power surge from the next room over. It's power was incredible. He wanted to see who or what it was, but any wasted time was wasted life, and he wasn't about to throw his life away. So he pressed the buttons on the console, and set it to 100X gravity, with the heat element added in as well.
"This is gonna hurt..." 20 knew in his mind, but pressed 'Enter' anyways.
Once again the familiar sensation of being crushed by one's own body came over 20, and he was forced to kneel slightly. Standing up straight again, the android started out small, just taking some baby steps, but the new element, heat, was causing him to sweat profusely. His footing slipped, and he fell flat on his face. The increase in gravity made him feel like he had just broken his nose, and he wouldn't be suprised if he had.
Eventually, 20 became able to throw punches and train in the new gravity setting, falling into a rhythmic pattern, and getting a favorite song of his stuck in his head. After about an hour of an intense training session, which bordered suicide and insanity, another figure entered the room. It was a tall, blond-headed human. It was the same one who hung out with Krillen a lot. He nodded, regarding the new arrival's presence in the room. The android then returned to his combat training. He heard the human set the gravity in the room to max, with max heat element. The max was somewhere in the upper 100's for this room, but other chambers had higher levels of gravity. As the human pressed 'enter,' the gravity strained everything in his body to the max. He was on the verge of screaming. How could the human tolerate this sort of gravity strain? He wanted to fall to his knees and just wait until the pain ended, but he decided to hold to his stoicism, and showed no physical change. He continued to throw punches at an invisible fighter. The heat was getting to him, the gravity too much. But he saw the blond teen go about the room practicing with ease. 20 turned back to his corner of the room, and began doing some acrobatic feats around the room. He saw the human pause, and seem to note what he was doing. It made him feel a little better about himself as a fighter, although for all he knew, the human was laughing at him. But he pressed on, knowing that in the end, this training would pay off. Eventually, the human left the room, and 20 was left alone once again. The other chamber had another flash of purple light. Gero then decided it was time to test his power. He let his white aura erupt around him, and expand to fill half of the room.
"Er......." the android rumbled.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" 20 screamed, his aura exploding and creating a shockwave of wind to spread from him. He could feel his power peaking out. He was at about 90% now, and he wanted to increase still. Mustering together everything he had, the android released it as power.
"HAAAAAAAAAAA!" 20 roared and his aura turned ominously black. Red energy currents began flowing around his body, and his pupils and irises disappeared. Dr. Gero lost all control and the android took over again. Blue flames erupted from the android's eyes. Android 20 looked very menacing and dangerous now. While he knew it not, he had just forced electrons into his generator, and pushed all the atoms within it to the tertiary valence energy level. This energy surge caused a rapid increase in his strength and speed, but an incredible decrease in defense and stamina. Not only that, but the stress on his generator from all the energy was literallly frying his circuitry. But as soon as the power had come, it was gone, and 20 dropped to his knees, his breath coming in shallow gasps. The aura receeded, and Dr. Gero regained control.
"Almost... had... it..." 20 moaned, gasping between each word.
20 stood up and walked back over to the gravitron console, currently reading MAX. He switched it to off, and felt a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. He felt light as a feather, and this wonderful feeling left him feeling like he was floating, which in fact, he was. Gero floated all the way out of the chambers, as another purple flash emitted from a different chamber. He hovered all the way back to his sleeping quarters, where he promptly plopped onto his cot and was asleep instantly.

Bardock weaved in and out of the massive columns of people that had gathered for the tournament. His fading senses could determine that most of them were mingling around the bar, and some had gone off to train. The Saiya-jin himself was in need of rest. A couple hours worth of a power nap to settle his food and alcohol, and then he would get in some last minute training, maybe even get check out the competition.
The old roughneck found a secluded corner in a lounge area where no one else was around. He flopped down on the comfortable cushions of a sofa and leaned back, programming his scouter alarm to wake him in two hours. Within mere moments of complete closure of his eyes, he was sound asleep.

"Goten can take care of himself," Goku responded as he walked down the hall. He recalled the time that himself, Goten and Gohan all stood at the large double doors of the creepy tower they fought Brim in. "I couldn't be more proud of how far he has come with his training. And besides, I'll be there to protect him." Burter nodded, thinking the exact same thing of Bra.
"So when does this lousy thing start? I'm sick of waiting."
