Everyone is in the dome, battling an army of undead zombies. There are hundreds of them.

Vegeta, Bra, and Trunks are battling the head honcho, Satan. He's the one who killed Krillin, so A-20 or Zarbon get a catch of him, they have reason to jump in.

Freedom is back up. You can leave if you want. Do what you want, but if it's big, make sure to run it by me.

Oh, and the power is out.

Their eyes refused to break their lock. Vegeta?s glare bore deep into the long-haired saiyan?s mind, but he refused to relent. His own eyes bore no anger towards the prince before him. He had other things on his mind at the moment. Things brought to bare by the speech he himself had given Vegeta. When had he become such a horrible hypocrite? His left arm hanging limply at his side, Vegeta opened his mouth to reply to Raditzu, but never got the chance. Darkness fell upon the arena. The only light came from the bars of energy that blocked the exits and the holding cell, and that didn?t last for long. The emerald energy flicked and was then extinguished. Noises filtered through the blackness, reaching the ears of those still in the Friend or Foe tournament. A slow shuffling. It grew in volume and was soon accompanied by low groans.

?? the hell is this?? Someone?s voice was barely audible over the growing din.

?Probably another one of Stumpy?s games,? Raditzu answered no one.

Before he could move, however, something collided with the long-haired warrior. The impact against the saiyan?s side sent a wave of pain through his body. The wound Vegeta had inflicted upon him wasn?t simply going away. Rad hit the ground: standing had lost its appeal. A voice echoed through the arena: Vegeta?s. Rad craned his head to see a fiery aura around the prince. He was insane. With the damage he had suffered, he wouldn?t last three seconds. Another powerlevel flared up: Bra?s. Then a third. It was? Trunks? Rad reached around his waist, the feeling slowly draining from his finger tips. Blood seeped into the soil around him as it continued to flow through his body. After what seemed like hours, the long-haired being found what he was looking for: a small bean. Biting the legume in half, Rad continued to crunch. As he swallowed, a wave of euphoria swept his body. He could feel the wound in his side closing up, his shoulder healing, ribs mending, and strength returning. Having only consumed half the bean, he wasn?t at 100%, but he was quite a bit better then he had been moments ago.

"Bra!" Trunks voice rang out.

Rad turned to see what the commotion was? or tried to. All around him were shuffling bodies. Grotesque, rotting corpses that had been reanimated. Whatever the people on this asteroid had discovered, it sure worked. Ducking away from a boney limb, Rad leapt into the air to get a better view of his surroundings. Bodies were pouring in from all the exits of the arena, though this was more of a guess than anything else. Raditzu wasn?t sure if he was actually making out the shuffling bodies, or if he was simply imagining them. He was sure, however, of the people moving away from the holding area. Freed from the imprisoning energy, most were very eager to leave their confines. Near the cell were the forms he had heard. Their auras were giving off a powerful light. Amongst them, one stood out brilliantly. Trunks? energy was pouring off of him. The golden aura about him bathed everything in the majestic hue.

Anger!

A voice almost screamed in his head. The waves of emotion were pouring from the ascended youth. That, coupled with the surprising level of energy that Trunks was reaching made Raditzu nervous. He must have transcended beyond a Super Saiyan; that was the only thing Raditzu could think of to explain what was going on. He prayed that Trunks would have better luck controlling his strength than he had had. Raditzu shot towards the ground, straight towards the two downed fighters near Trunks. As he approached, Rad clenched the other half of the senzu bean in his hand and shook his head. If he had ever done anything this stupid before, it escaped him. Hitting the ground, Rad took off quickly. Within moments he was standing behind Vegeta, who had pulled himself to his feet. Rad reached out and shoved a finger into the hole in the prince?s shoulder. Shocked at the suddenness of the pain, Vegeta tried to cry out. As soon as he opened his mouth, however, Raditzu slapped his other hand over it. The half a senzu bean was shoved down Vegeta?s throat, but that wasn?t Rad?s concern. He was already off and moving once more.

Leaping into the air once more, Rad traveled high above the bodies of zombies and warriors, carefully scanning them as he soared above. There! Rad hit the ground only feet away from his target. Reaching out, he snatched up the androidess? arm and yanked her in his direction. Bad move. Instinctively, 18 spun around and lodged her fist into Rad?s nose.

?Bloody hell, babe!?

?Raditzu!? She exclaimed before glomping the bulky saiya-jin.

?Raditzu?? Another form spoke up. He had been standing next to 18.

?Dad?!? Rad shook his head. ?Err? Bardock. Come on.?

The trio turned towards the nearest exit and took off. In their haste, several zombies were sent flying through the air. Normally, Raditzu would have relished the chance to artfully dispatch so many easy targets, but his little brush with death had temporarily sobered him up. Trunks, Vegeta, and Bra would be enough to handle a few zombies, and that wasn?t counting the number of other people who would probably be more than happy to get a good work-out. As they neared the exit, a voice called out.

?Going somewhere??

The Ader dropped from the sky and hit the ground running. Jack fell into line with the rest of the small group. He had probably seen them fleeing, or? who knows? it didn?t much matter just then. They approached the exit, but saw a long line of the living impaired shuffling into their path. 18 leapt forward, taking the lead. Against her own ascended power, these corpses were little more than pins to be knocked over. Before he actually shot through the exit, Raditzu stopped and turned to face the middle of the arena. He concentrated for a second, then extended an arm outwards. Moments pass and nothing happened.

?Whatcha waiting for?? Bardock strained his eyes to see through the darkness.

?Wait for it?? Rad grinned as he saw it.

Sliding along the ground, straight towards the long-haired warrior, was a large pile of silver-hued metal. Once it reached his leg, the metal slunk up his body and reformed into the shape of his armor. Though it still bore the scars of his battle with Vegeta, it was better than running around topless. That accomplished, Raditzu, Android 18, Bardock, and Bojack shot down the exit and out of the arena.

?So? what?s the plan?? Bojack extended an arm to Raditzu as they tore down a non-descript hallway.

?Well,? Rad pulled the cigar from Bojacks hand and shoved into his mouth to take a drag. ?I?m not 100% sure.?

?Typical.? 18 reached back, snagged the cigar from Rad?s mouth and crushed it in her fist.

?Hey? cut me some slack. I almost died.? 18 turned a random corner and everyone followed. ?Obviously, we should either get these collars off our necks or find a way to turn ?em off. I?m sure Stumpy would know of a way. Whatcha think, pop??

?Stumpy?? Bardock seemed almost taken aback as his son addressed him.

"I mean Brim."

?Makes sense, sure. This would be the place to look for him, too.?

?Perfect.? Rad let loose an XTREME grin.

The hell fighter?s hands were shaking; the violent tremor in them accompanied bye exasperated breathes heaving out of his dry mouth. The smell from the smoke of his blast still lingered in the air, assaulting his nostrils, but the android?s sensors did not pay much attention to the scent. The cybernetic eyes slowly looked downward, his face quivering. A faint smile the humanoid; it was perplexing to see Piccolo smile in such a circumstance. Seventeen?s own face contorted to this visual, with ears perking up and eyes looking on with incredulous, though his body still shook from recent revelations.

As the curved lips began to disappear and form into straightness throughout the face, the robot?s eyes looked down the body, stopping at the hands. Noticing a peculiarity, the hell fighter bent down, his knees starting to become weary as he did so. Reaching out his hand, the android grabbed at the namekian, noticing the roughness of his emerald skin. Screams and murmurs interrupted the humanoid?s examination of the lifeless body, but he soon continued what he was doing. Turning the appendage over, Seventeen?s eyes started, wide-eyed, at the nails. There is not blood underneath his fingernails. The synthetic human saw this as awry, until he looked at his own hand as it clenched tightly onto Piccolo?s. There was not blood underneath his fingernails.

The false human?s eyes closed and he let out one last heavy breath before his circulatory system would return back to its normal proficiency. Thinking back to normal, when he reached the his plateau again, Seventeen?s mind wandered through those words: ?I still love you.? A smile formed on the hell fighter?s lips and his eyelids lifted open slightly, giving him a small view of the darkness. There was not too much light and all of the fellow prisoners had been let free, and were now fending off hordes of zombies, much like the ones that the hell fighter had seen at the hospital. There were many familiar faces in the crowd that Seventeen noticed as he opened his eyes wider. The saiya-jin, Bra, was helping one of the people whom Seventeen had seen fighting in the dome as well, and now there was also another, one who appeared to be the same age as the robot impersonated.

There were also those whom the Seventeen did not take too kindly to, such as his killer Cell, but for a reason unbeknownst to him, he did not carry the same rage that had fueled his assault on the black-speckled one earlier. Many others brought forth memories, but the android was growing an instinctive drive that he himself could not understand. The fights that had sprung up around his kneeling body had no appeal to him; they were all meaningless and held no value to the humanoid. Even though those who could use his help were in dire needs at the moment, he couldn?t do it. ?I can?t do this. . .? His senses began to pulsate, picking up on something within the structure. His eyebrows raised and his brow furrowed, accented by his upper lip lightly caressing his lower. ?I. . .? Seventeen?s mind was surprisingly certain as to where he would go; the surprise came from a lack of knowledge, except a feeling that sunk into the core of his wires. ?I am to go there.?

The android looked up, his mind instantly telling him that this was the way to go. With eyes narrowing on a thin strip of discolouration which was barely visible in the lack of light, he blasted upwards. The tail that sunk behind the humanoid was not as bright as it was before. Seventeen had turned off the effects of his silicon ships for now, deciding that there was no urgency for his power to be used. The energy that did trickle behind his mechanical body soon dissipated, but illuminated the depths of the dome slightly beforehand.

The humanoid quickly reached the area he had seen earlier, and his senses were telling him correctly thus far. ?What am I to do here?? he asked, eyes trailing the hole up and down vigorously. After gulping, the robot slowly bent down and eventually laid, so that he may fit into the small vent.

A gas roaming the innards of the duct; it held a green essence to it, but when contrasted against the small amount of light bursting in the crawlspace, it held a hint more relevant to yellow. ?Uhh. . .? he began, looking back towards the entrance whilst biting his lip. ?Yay?? Seventeen looked back to the unknown fluid, and decided to brave it. For he was mechanical, so in his mind that must mean that he was invulnerable to earthly toxins, though this was not how things truly were. ?I guess it couldn?t be that bad,? said the android, eyes darting back and forth from one side of the vent to the other, weary of just what this fluid would do to him.

After moving forward, the humanoid had made contact with the gas, and at first, there appeared to be no effects on him, but soon enough this would not be true. The android?s eyes started to daze about ferociously and his head swayed back and forth as his body become unstable, even for a laying position. The world around Seventeen was soon fragmenting and some of the trail disappeared from sight, while other views were being inverted.

There soon enough was a fork in the path and the metallic trail was not giving him any tips as to where to go. ?Up,? said Seventeen, oblivious to the fact that there was only a right, not any choice to be made. His body began to crawl ?upwards? and his mind wondered why it was so easy to defy gravity without using energy. The path laid in front of him was twisting and turning with every inch he moved. ?I don?t know about this,? said Seventeen, shaking his head with closed eyes. After a few moments of doing this and questioning what he was supposed to do, the humanoid could hear a creak. ?What. . . What was that?? Seventeen looked down, or what he thought was down, and suddenly he felt weightless. The world around him was a bright array of colours and soon his body was overcome by a stinging in his side, but his mind paid no attention to that. The gas was now losing its effect on the android; it was apparently one that could only last for so long.

?I can hear someone coming,? said Seventeen, holding his head whilst trying to stand up.

The android's expression had changed. Brim had forced them all to do these horrible things. He had to be destroyed. Seventeen stared at him for awhile; it seemed that he was deep in thought. Yajirobe could tell he didn't know what to do. The human understood him. He even, had doubts that they would pose a threat against the evil producer. But they would just have to wait and see...

Seventeen went to answer Yajirobe?s proposition when a deafening explosion gained his attention. The android spun around to watch his namekian ally plummet from the sky. Piccolo struck the sandy floor of the arena with a silent thud, triggering a terrified yell to escape the machine-hybrid?s throat. The cybernetic warrior started to dash over to his fallen friend but arrived in enough time to watch the namekian breathe his final breath. The laser bars that kept the six gladiators caged suddenly faded away, and the last image Android Seventeen saw before the rest of the power died was a horde of moaning undead begin to pour into the chamber. Blackness eclipsed everything except the wailing of cadavers, and the surprised shouts of the remaining warriors. The machine-hybrid screamed an obscenity and kneeled down, his night-vision quickly activating to supply a more coherent field of vision.

The android immediately noticed the fallen form of Piccolo. Seventeen touched his hand to the namekian?s neck, desperately trying to locate a pulse. When nothing came, grief set in without warning, and the android felt a lone tear escape his eye. Fighting back sobs was the only thing the machine-hybrid could do to keep the knowledge of Piccolo?s murderer from driving him off the edge. Seventeen knew that he had fought off the insanity too hard to succumb to it now. Scanning the arena, the android noticed that several of the surviving competitors had begun their fights against the endless wave of undead cannon fodder. The android was trying desperately to locate his copy, but he couldn?t tell who was who among the mass of bodies.

A few figures had escaped the mayhem and left the building, but Seventeen could not tell which contenders they were. A nearby moan captured the android attention, and the machine-hybrid quickly turned straight into the fist of an undead monstrosity. Android Seventeen growled in anger and lashed out, kicking the zombie?s head off its emaciated neck. The cybernetic warrior regained his vertical composure and threw his hands out, screaming the verbal command to activate his barrier. The sphere of ki shot up with a melodious hum, and the new lighting immediately drew the attention of quite a few mobile cadavers. Moaning and dangling their arms forward, the reanimated corpses, as brainless as they were dead, slammed straight into the shielding. With a brilliant green explosion, all of the undead remotely close to the android were disintegrated.

As the green light faded away, a fresh wave of cadavers assaulted the cybernetic warrior. Android Seventeen fought valiantly to stave the increasing number of zombies attacking him, but soon he was overwhelmed by their sheer numbers. Even as he tumbled backwards, the machine-hybrid formulated a new plan. Grinning wildly, Seventeen started firing off short blasts of ki in all directions. Some of the deadly projectiles found targets, but most of them exploding pointlessly against the ceiling and walls of the structure. Android Seventeen hit the sand, and his assailants began attempting to devour him alive! Yet, the constant flow of ki blasts was quickly reducing the number of zombies attacking the android. Within moments, the cybernetic warrior found himself snapping the neck of his final attacker. Shoving the corpse away from him, Android Seventeen made it back to his feet once again. The sand around the machine-hybrid was whipped around violently as the energy around the android accumulated. Seventeen exploded of the ground and up towards the ceiling. Unleashing a massive blast of ki, the android escaped as the roof broke away around him.

Android Seventeen escaped into the night air and landed quickly next to the intimidating Friend or Foe Production Building. Sounds of combat and cries of the undead were still audible, but that was all behind the android. Breathing heavily, the machine-hybrid swung a fist against the wall of the building. A large series of cracks and crags extended outward, but still the android felt no relief. Piccolo was still dead, and Brim was still alive. Seventeen didn?t even care that another warrior had slain his friend because he knew they were all under Brim?s evil influence. This game was driving some of its competitors to the most disastrous of extremes. Android Seventeen thought back to when Piccolo and he killed Daimaou. The next thought was the warrior who had committed suicide back in the dome. Although Seventeen did not know the exact reasoning behind the veined humanoid?s actions, he was confident something in the game had driven him to such an extreme.

The thought of ending his own life to escape the horrors of Friend or Foe II was nothing new to android; however, with Piccolo dead, Seventeen knew he had to fight on. Brim had inadvertently robbed the machine-hybrid of one of his best friends. That deformed, legless abomination was going to suffer for the havoc his idiotic game had created. Seventeen stumbled forward; he was still weak from his fight with Yajirobe. A sparkling noise?one the android hadn?t heard in a long time?came from behind the cybernetic warrior. Android Seventeen turned around to see his female friend Paige. The fiery redhead was dressed in her usual white robe, but her presence was still a sight for sore eyes.

?Paige,? Seventeen said through a smile, ?I failed Leo and you, Piccolo is dead, my evil nearly consumed me, I?m sorry. Piccolo and Daimaou are dead, I fear Byrk has won,? Paige stepped forward, putting a finger over the android?s lips to silence him. She cooed softly and shook her head as Seventeen fought to stay conscious.

?Byrk?s plan backfired. Instead of unleashing an army of demons upon Earth, he was sucked into Demon World himself. There is no way he can escape, not yet at least,? the beautiful words had a soothing effect on the weary android, ?Piccolo has been sent to Snake Way to journey on to King Kai?s. Leo told me to tell you all of this so don?t worry, just stay alive,? Seventeen quickly found himself lost in the crystalline pools of blue that were Paige?s eyes.

?How do you know all these things?? Android Seventeen asked. Paige smiled as her other hand glowed yellow and bathed the cybernetic warrior in its healing light.

?Let?s just say me and Leo go way back, he taught me all I know about being an angel,? the revelation didn?t strike the android as surprising at all. Ever since he first met the woman he had sensed something extraordinary about her. Paige lowered her hands and leaned forward, her lips meeting the machine-hybrids. Android Seventeen?s eyes went wide with astonishment, but then Paige simply broke the kiss and whispered the advice in his ear, ?we will be watching you, don?t try to do everything yourself,? the goddess of a woman exited in her similar fashion?her cloud of orbs floating back to the heavens.

A giant crash brought down the wall of the Production Building a few yards down from the cybernetic warrior. Seventeen snapped out of his dreamy state and stared at carnage. A body had been thrown clean through the wall, the fighter rolled painfully over the dirt for a few feet before coming to rest. Android Seventeen watched the monster exit the massive hole it had created. The beast seemed to be the combination of several zombies?stitches and medical staples were visible all over its mutilated body. Roaring loudly, the abomination started slowly walking towards its prey. Seventeen?s attention moved to the figure that was to be the monster?s food. It was Yajirobe! The samurai was about to be the victim of some kind of monster. Android Seventeen lunged forward, leaping into the air and delivering a massive kick the abomination?s head. Screaming loudly and inhumanly, the creature landed yards away. Seventeen rushed over to help the fallen earthling up. Yajirobe was surprised by the sudden kindness from the warrior he had just been fighting to the death.

?Listen, I know we were both trying to kill one another,? the android said, ?but for now, we need to see the bigger picture like you said, Brim needs to fall, but first we need to deal with this [i]thing[i]!? Yajirobe smiled. The two newly-allied warriors turned to face their foe. The monstrosity was glaring at them with white, cataract eyes. Drool was dripping slowly from the monster?s mouth?a mouth filled with dozens of jagged, yellowed teeth.

?Let?s do this!? Yajirobe screamed as the two warriors charged their opponent.

OOC: the mutant is just a random creature, not to be mistaken with whatever the Vegeta family is fighting.

The lights died. All the energy in the dome flickered off. There was complete darkness in the place. Nothing could be seen by anyone. Everything was still for a moment, and then the moans were heard. The sound so very familiar to Zarbon?s ears. The groan of the undead. The shuffling of their bodies was constant. They were slowly approaching. Dr. Gero and the transformer knew what was going on immediately. A zombie attack, just like what happened at the village. Zarbon heard Twenty grit his teeth at the memories of his friend?s corpse, impaled at the end of a spear. The mutant readied himself for a massive battle.

1?

?Twenty.? Zarbon said calmly to his robotic friend. ?Looks like we have a chance to kill the one who did the deed.? The transformer grasped his friend?s hand tightly. ?We need to stay together, we can?t get lost in this mess. If we do, we are zombie food, and hell, I don?t feel like being someone?s dinner tonight. You with me buddy?? The undead?s moans grew louder all around the two: they were getting closer by the second.

2?

The android held his hand tightly together with the transformer?s, nearly crushing it with the amount of strength he used. ?Alright.? Dr. Gero rasped. ?Let?s kick some undead ass. For Krillin!? Even in the darkness, Zarbon could see the gleam in his eyes: a shining light, a mixture of courage, hope, and rage that consumed the old man?s mind. The scientist nodded with a smile.

3!...

?For Krillin!? The mutant shouted back, and his eyes showed the same glow as his friends. They both looked forward. The zombie?s moans were unbearably loud now. The two gave a quick smile to each other. This was indeed for the bald human that made them laugh and cry. The one who turned every conversation from serious to the goofiest thing imaginable. The midget would be avenged or both of them would die trying. ?Let?s do this thing!? They both leapt into the air, throwing their connected hands in respect to their lost friend. They looked like stars at night, the light in the darkness: hope. The twosome landed in the swarm of monstrosities.

Fight!

The zombies attacked them as soon as they entered the fury. A beast was on Zarbon in second. The transformer hammered him off with his elbow and pushed his palm forward and fired his signature move quickly and whipped his arm across the left side for a wide spread strike as Twenty picked off men with his eye lasers. They made quite a team. Just as Zarbon finished his cannon, two zombies charged them at both sides, baring their fangs at the two.

?Split!? The transformer and the android both said at once. They let go of each others hands and struck the undead beasts in the chin in perfect symmetry, punching the mindless beings up to the sky. The two quickly grabbed hands again and beat a few more of the monsters of them. They looked at each other sweating and panting as they fought off more men. Zarbon and Twenty both knew they wouldn?t hold out forever. They needed to get to their target: the ogre that had slain Krillin.

?We need to get to that whoreson before we fall where we stand!? The transformer shouted as he formed his hand into a gun-like shape to peg off a few more demented creatures. His Ki lessened more and more with each shot. At this rate, he was going to run out of energy as fast as a man trying to sprint his way around the world. The mutant?s face was wet with sweat.

?Alright Zarbon, do you see him anywhere?? Dr. Gero asked, but Zarbon shook his head sadly. ?Alright, I?m going to fly up and get a look. Stay still so I can find you again. Cover me in case any can fly. Ok?? The transformer smiled at the android as he burst into the air, arching his head to get a good peek around the place. Unfortunately, three zombies leapt after the android. Zarbon shot after them, hammering them down to the ground quickly and then returned to where he was before. As, the mutant landed, the undead swarmed him even more, as he was now alone and helpless.

?Alright?Twisted Rainbow Beam!? The transformer pushed his hands forward and out came the rainbow beam that rapidly split into seven after it was launched. Zarbon shuffled around in a circle as the beams whipped around, hitting many of the zombies down to the ground, dead once again. After the circle was finished, he formed the blast to complete the attack, and to take out an especially big monstrosity. After he was done, he heard Dr. Gero land behind him. They both grasped hands again.

?Did you find him?? Zarbon asked immediately after they both had a firm grip again.

?Yes, just over to my right.? Twenty nodded with a smirk. ?Let?s go.?

Upon hearing this, the transformer forced Dr. Gero in the air and burst in the direction of the ogre. He could see the beast clearly now. He was big guy. Even could be called huge. The great horns upon his heads made him different from the others. A group of fighters were their, pummelling the monster with their enormous amount of power. ?Time to pounce.? Gero grinned. They were ready to take this son of a bitch down.

And Zarbon knew how to make them known.

?Hey ugly!? The mutant shouted as soon as they were above Satan. The ogre looked away from the warriors he was fighting to see the transformer above him. ?For what you did to our friend, I think you deserve the big boot!? Zarbon and Twenty nodded at each other, and put out their legs and shot down at the beast, kicking him hard in the back. The monster groaned.

?You will pay for that you little insects!? Satan growled in fury.

?Oh, you just wait you bastard.? The android yelled back. ?That was just for hurting Krillin. Just wait till you see what you get for killing him!? The twosome jumped off from the monster?s back and landed perfectly. Still holding hands to find themselves, they got into their battle stances. They both glared at the beast.

?This is for our friend, and trust me, you?ll regret what you did!?

The horrendous battle between the two hyper powers came to an abrupt standstill, regressing from a battle of might to a battle of words. The cyan haired girl strained to hear the obviously heated discussion, but the acoustics of the dome were noticeably atrocious, and sound failed to travel any real distance. Raditzu had borne a particularly grievous wound in his side. Blood freely spilled from it, flowing down his body and onto his pants, soaking the leg with the crimson fluid. Bra whimpered as she finally caught sight of her father?s injury; his shoulder had been substantially decimated, leaving his arm limp and useless. The two of them were in no condition to fight, but the princess knew that either would do so anyway.

Without any warning or noise, the entire lighting system of the complex failed, shrouding everyone and everything in a nearly complete blackness. The cool green glow of the energy bars also faded away, leaving several of the captives to wonder if this was merely yet another painstakingly careful phase in Brim?s wicked design.

An ominous shuffling could suddenly be heard in every direction except behind the girl, who instinctively brought her gloved fists up. The halfling?s eyes narrowed and her teeth were borne angrily, though none could see it in the darkness. A cacophony of labored moans met the child?s ears, the shuffling growing louder. The princess? cobalt-alabaster cloak of flame exploded around her, illuminating the cell and parts of the dome nearby. Shambling silhouettes could now be seen, pitifully making their way to the forms who stood rigid in the arena.

Agony. The only possible word that could describe the four intense blows she received from the inky blackness. Her slender form was sent hurtling through the air, before she smacked painfully into the floor, skipping across it until she rolled to a painful stop in a heap on the ground.

Aureate fires viciously broke the darkness, casting wildly twisting shadows which stemmed eerily from their focal point; a saiyan prince who appeared extremely agitated with what could only be described as a demon. Bra watched intently from her position on the floor for a moment, fascinated by her father?s extraordinary strength, even now that he had returned to the first level of super saiyan. The hell spawn had a set of twisted horns upon it?s head, and sinister looking claws extending from it?s hands. The creature was immense. Though it had leaned far enough forward to place it?s meaty hands upon the ground, it still managed to tower above the princess? father, a look of utter spite on it?s hideous face.

?Time for Round Two, you ugly ogre!? Vegeta boomed, lunging forth and tackling his much larger foe off-balance, ?Nobody fucks with my family!? he brought his fist down, striking brutally against the demon?s skull. Bra, who had still been watching, was shocked. The creature hadn?t moved at all from the force of impact. The creature looked up at the noble super saiyan, who involuntarily retracted his fist in surprise.

?Done?? he taunted, abruptly leaping up and delivering a devastating kick to Vegeta?s chest. The prince grunted under the impact, flying backward before losing his balance and crashing to the floor.

?What!?? Bra whispered, her eyes widening in horror. Her father couldn?t possibly be losing to some disgusting brute. Despite what her fiercely proud beliefs told her, there was Vegeta, the best warrior to have ever lived, at the feet of some twisted devil which had emerged from the darkness which had enveloped the arena.

?I?m so sick of this game!!? the princess snarled, her frustration and dread finally exceeding the girl?s limits. She needed her father! He couldn?t simply die at the hands of some nameless plot device. She couldn?t deal with his death, nor the responsibility of avenging such a legacy.

No.

Suddenly, as if it had been so obvious since the start, it was not her, but Vegeta who needed help. The concept was absurd to the cyan haired girl, but it didn?t matter. All that mattered now was fighting alongside him, and making that demonic vermin suffer dearly for even laying a hand upon them.

As she rocketed through the air, her silky hair became stiff and spiked as her eyes shifted hue from azure to jade. A blast of gold identical to her father?s surrounded her as the ascension became complete, propelling her forth at a far more alacritous rate of acceleration. The golden haired youth flashed in between the demon and her father, pounding her fists one after the other into the monstrosity?s chest. A crooked smirk cracked his face. His jagged teeth shone wickedly as he emitted a nefarious chuckle. With a blatant lack of effort, the repulsive demon shoved her hard, sending her careening into her father, who almost tumbled again under the force. Trying to control his anger, Vegeta gently pushed Bra away enough from himself to return to the offensive.

?Ignorant beast!!? he exclaimed, pulling his arm back, his muscles rippling under the tension as he prepared to unleash a commanding punch, but it never came. One of the demon?s ham fists collided with his jaw instead, creating a nauseating crack! which sounded loudly in Bra?s ears. Vegeta staggered back, much to the princess? horror.

She wasn?t able to lift her feet, as if they had been planted to the floor by some unseen force. The girl had almost considered the idea of it being Brim who caused it, but the thought was quickly discarded.

The mighty prince lashed out with another straight punch, striking one of the creature?s hulking forearms which had snapped up to intercept the blow. It gave that same toothy smile before driving it?s fist into Vegeta?s temple, putting all of the weight of his substantially hefty body into the attack. Bra?s father was sent reeling in mid-air, before painfully crashing into the dusty floor.

?Stop it!!? she screamed, diverting the hellion?s attention. Her emerald eyes burned with a renewed vigor. Her fears finally displaced. With a mighty push off the floor, the demi saiyan?s legs catapulted her straight toward the demon, twisting her body around at the last moment, dragging her heel through the air before savagely planting it into the side of the monstrosity?s neck. It?s head jerked sharply to the side, but nothing more. With blistering speed ill-fitting of his enormity, it wrapped a massive hand around Bra?s calf, swinging the girl up before driving her into the floor as hard as it could.

?Bra!!? roared Vegeta, who launched forth, smashing an elbow into the devil?s skull with enough force to topple the immense creature, who hit the floor with a deafening thud. An accusing finger snapped out, only inches from the princess? face, ?You! Be more careful!?

?Uh...? she mouthed, almost not vocalizing the sound at all. A simple nod conveyed everything that needed to be said to her father, before the two of them immediately became distracted by a familiar power, which had suddenly grown to outlandish proportions, ?Trunks!??

He lunged forth, clearing the massive gap between himself and the recovering giant in an instant. His knee drove into the monster?s gut, throwing the hell spawn back onto the floor. Trunks flipped forward, unable to halt his own inertia, and planted a foot firmly upon the demon?s throat.

The expression on Bra?s face mirrored what she felt within her mind. Utter confusion. Since when did her brother possess that kind of power? Had he simply been hiding it from them the whole time? More importantly for the girl came the question of how, rather than why. The girl had experienced that kind of power once before, albeit thanks to an enchanted dragonball. Her own strength and lack of any form of self-control frightened her, though she could only guess as to how her sibling felt about the tumultuous ki swirling through his veins.

Trunks stepped off the demonic creature, ramming a boot into the side of it?s head, punting the gargantuan monster into the air. Vegeta was quick to act, leaping up to intervene with the living projectile?s course, hastily summoning a mass of energy into his open palms. The prince rushed in closer, thrusting his arms forward, almost close enough to touch the demon, before releasing the attack. The powerful gallet gun burned against the monster?s unholy flesh, pushing it through the dark arena, straight into a wall. The pillar of ki detonated, engulfing the hellion within the expanding force of the explosion.

The older of the two hybrids raced forward into the haze, disappearing within. Bra and Vegeta scanned the debris for any sign of the warriors, just as several intense sparks of light flashed from within the cloud.

Suddenly, the princess was faced with yet another problem. Dozens of the living dead were now encroaching upon the royal family, threatening to overwhelm them with numbers. The halfling created a pair of kienzan daggers and immediately went to work, savagely rending and tearing through the zombies while her father sent ki blasts and fists flying into the group of shambling dead men nearest him.

?We can?t focus on these bastards and that demon-thing!!? Bra declared, slamming a blade through the face of another zombie, ?Trunks is gonna need a hand, even with his power!?

?Just keep fighting!? came Vegeta? order. His daughter grimaced, a snap kick followed by a violent stab dispatched one more, but for every zombie they killed, two or three more came to replace it.

?I got an idea!! Dad, could you hold these guys off on your own?? Bra demanded, ducking an unskilled, rotting fist, before retorting with a trio of brutal slashes. Vegeta seemed almost offended as he drove a kick into a zombie?s head with enough force to detach it from it?s body.

?Of course I can! Just be quick about your idea!? he retorted with a smirk, bolstering his aura as he prepared to combat the undead force without any outside help. Bra retreated a few feet behind her father, glancing over to Trunks, who still appeared to have the upper hand.

Okay... Now... What the hell was this thing called? Me... Memento? Yeah. Memento. But how the fuck do I summon it!? Dammit, Bra, how could you forget this!?

?Okay...? the 12-year-old super saiyan took a deep breath, uncertainly raising her hands to the sky, ?All them- no... All those who oppose me shall fear my wrath. A living horror will haunt your last day. This is my final memento.? she paused, uncertain, ?...Shit. Now... oh yeah. Memento of Grimshaw, come here now!?

The girl must have looked extremely odd to any onlookers there may have been, but suddenly a painfully bright violet circle appeared before her. It?s surface seemed to ripple and burn at the same time, but otherwise failed to do anything significant. Bra suddenly grew agitated, impatiently glaring at the strange object.

Even Bra was surprised when a terrifying figure literally materialized from the hole in space and time, which promptly vanished after the creature?s arrival. It bore vicious teeth and claws, complete with not one, but two whip-like tails which continuously thrashed about, as if trying to strike some unseen enemy. The monster stood on four legs, and seemed comprised entirely of shadow. It?s entire body was translucent, and light passed freely though it, which formed an unnerving ripple effect on the avatar?s skin. Tufts of light smoke drifted from it?s body as if being exuded from the shade?s see-through pores. The monster?s elongated head was completely devoid of eyes, and a horrifying scowl seemed permanent on the nightmarish avatar?s long, razor-tooth lined mouth.

The halfling had formed an intensely concentrated ball of energy, and fired it at the summoned familiar, watching as her ki was absorbed by the fearsome creature. Finally, it was ready to go on the attack.

?Okay... Grimshaw?s... uh... Memento. Go kill some zombie.? Bra commanded, pointing at the undead creatures which now surrounded her father. The shade released a terrifying shriek, leaping with amazing speed onto the nearest zombie. Claws and teeth rent it to pieces, while it?s tails slashed through another. The living shadow pounced from zombie to zombie with brutal efficiency, cleaving through each one in turn with not even an ounce of hesitation or sympathy. One of the living dead had been foolish enough to grasp onto one of the avatar?s tails, which caused it to recoil and reduce the zombie?s skull to a spray of gore. Vegeta and Bra would certainly be free to help Trunks now.

OOC: Okay, Grimshaw's Memento is going to town on the zombies. Vegeta, I left your reaction to the technique out, because... I'm not exactly sure how you would react to it. =\

So, yeah. Hope it was good.

Reijin turned his attention from the saddened reptile and looked out toward the stadium. The fight continued for a long time, and then without warning, the laser bars that had imprisoned them simply faded away. Reijin?s brow rose, and he stood to his feet looking around. The rest of the group was looking around as well, with no idea what had happened. ?Look!? Someone had yelled, motioning to the arena. Reijin?s eyes followed and he saw one of the Namekian warriors lying dead. Then the entire stadium fell into darkness.

?Wonderful?? the Saiyan sarcastically spoke.

The words left his mouth when similar prison gates around the other side of the dome began to pour open with soldiers. Before the other warriors could get up, the creatures were upon them. It took a moment to realize, but after one of them ripped its own arm off and began to use it as a weapon, Reijin realized that they were more zombies. Reijin ran out of the prison cell, seeing darkened forms darting around from every direction. His LENS unit began to fade to a night vision display so that Reijin could tell what was going on without giving away his position too easily. He heard screams from around him, and Reijin looked up to where the cameras had been. They were still there, hidden within their protected windows, but they were all off.

?The power?s out!? someone yelled from nearby.

Reijin felt a clawed arm grab his own, and he took a moment from his day to remove it from the creature?s body, following up by politely returning it through the creature?s neck. He turned around as he saw a silvery form flashing small orbs of light in every direction, taking out zombie after zombie.

The raven haired fighter ran lifted into the air, keeping his aura subtle, and saw a large horned red figure in the center of the arena. Trunks, his sister, and Vejita were all fighting the creature, and a massive display of power was washing over the entire area. Reijin suddenly realized that Trunks was an Ascended Super Saiyan. His eyes widened, having seen Vejita achieve the same goal through the usage of the dragonball and Raditzu through brute power. He shook his head as a blast of energy came within sensing range. A quick swat sent the blast off into another direction, and he confronted its origin.

Uub?s silvery form landed before him, and he shot Reijin a look through the dark. "Heh...can't tell the difference between rotting flesh and a gloomy Saiyan from that far away" he taunted apologetically.

Reijin simply sniffed. ?Save it. You need to power down. Take a look around at everyone. Look at Rad playing dead. Those things seem to be attracted to massive energy sources. They are all over Trunks and Vejita and? that girl, whoever she is.?

As if to prove him right, Uub found himself quickly beheading an attacking zombie. Uub nodded and powered down, his silver aura vanishing and his hair fading slowly back to obsidian black, he realized the truth behind Reijin's findings. "That girl is Bra!!"

Reijin nodded and motioned to the wall on the side. ?Let?s get over there so we can sort shit out before we have some fun.?

Nodding in agreement, Uub bashed his elbow into the nearest dead zombie's head, sending the corpse to the limb infested floor. "Ladies first." Uub motioned with a hand gesture giving a mock bow towards Reijin.

However, the Saiyan was already halfway through the crowd of walking corpses and found himself fighting tightly to restrain himself from letting loose with bloodlust ridden fervor. His training was true though, and he found himself at the wall with his back to it, moments before Uub appeared beside him. The two of them moved back to back, covering each other as they fired random shots at the approaching creatures whenever they attracted the attention of them. ?Ok, so first? You say that girl is named Bra? I gather she?s Trunks?s sister.?

Uub grunted with the effort of throwing a clawing zombie to the floor as both maneuvered along the wall. "Yes that is Bra sister to Trunks and daughter to your Prince Vejita!" the human warrior spat as he fired off a volley of ki severing the heads of several decaying corpses. "Unfortunately last I heard he did not remember her too well."

Yet another zombie found its? limbs completely rearranged throughout its body in an almost playful manner as the Saiyan responded. ?I seriously doubt that, as protective as he acted. The moment he saw her dealing with Rad, he kept trying to go over and interrupt the situation. I kept stopping him, but then I didn?t know he was related to her.?

Matching the vigor of his saiyan partner Uub threw two more bodies through the air, the rancid smell of death and decay filling his nostrils. "Really?" Uub was shocked. "It was awhile back when I saw both of them together for the first time." A zombie jumped at the two warriors and two beams of cut it down into several smoldering chunks of flesh. "Fuckers are relentless!" Uub barked as they both lowered their arms and continued along the wall.

?No shit?? Reijin grumbled as he turned yet another corpse into what could only be called ?modern art?. ?So who is Burter? He seems to be pretty important around here.?

Uub clenched his jaw as he prepared to answer the Saiyan?s question. "Burter....Burter was my friend, a brother, a comrade who instilled honor among the one's he trusted most." Uub hooked his right fists through the stomach of a shuffling monster. "He was the leader of Pitch Black...a Burden that now rests upon my shoulders." He twitched as he spoke, grief struggling to reach the surface, but suppressed as he spoke once more. "He is the Father of Burter Jr. the young lad over there." Uub pointed as he delivered an in to out kick across a mangled jaw.

The Saiyan didn?t really care all that much about specifics, other than to get an idea as to who was who. ?What about that angel from earlier? Gabriel? Think he might have something for this situation??

The two stopped as they conversed, the number of zombies around their specific location having dwindled quite a bit. "Gabriel? he seemed to be an interesting character...we might have use for him,? the human replied.

Reijin slapped him on the shoulder. ?Then let?s get out of here. There cells all around us, like ours, and a large number of zombies exited from them. I?m assume that the other cells might have some form of open areas in them to put the zombies in from. I mean, the fucking power is out here, and they lock things with lasers, so there has to be some form of open exit that is not normally open.?

Nodding, Uub smirked. "Let's get the fuck out of here Chief!"

The two of them rushed through the center of the crowd once more, leaping over fallen bodies all around them. They saw the warriors from before fighting for their lives, while a couple of them were hovering in the air above, just beneath the domed ceiling. Reijin saw Raditzu in the distance running towards a doorway with 18 and Bardock nearby. Reijin motioned towards them and Uub dispatched another zombie as the two rushed through another horde. Reijin nearly stepped on a random sheet of what appeared to be liquid metal as it shot past him and he sidestepped for a moment. ?What the hell was that??

Uub ran into him, and looked over his shoulder. ?What??

Shaking his head, the Saiyan returned to his run. ?Nothing. Come on.? He made his way through the group and exited into another clearing as everyone fought on. He stopped and turned around to get his bearings, finally seeing Raditzu again in the distance. This time Bojack was nearby, and the two were once more sharing a cigar. Reijin pointed. ?You remember telling me about that red mohawked guy bailing on Pitch Black for Ragnarok? Seems they are recruiting our guy from right under our own ranks as well.?

The human made a grunt of disgust. ?So where?s the loyalty at these days??

?If you are committed to something, then there?s no point in breathing. He?s no better than the corpses that are fighting us, I guess.? Reijin ran towards them and saw them quickly make their way through the exit. ?Looks like we are going to be running into them.? Just as he said this, Reijin saw a familiar Namekian face fighting off the undead easily. Reijin remembered Kami from his brief stay with Xero Tolerance, and knew that he was an ally to be trusted, a very powerful ally indeed.

Reijin called out to him, and he shot them a look before backing his way towards them. ?So you are in this hellhole too, heh?? he grumbled. Reijin smiled a bit. ?So what?s the plan?? The Namekian had a knack for getting to the point.

The Saiyan pointed to the doorway that Rad had just exited through. ?Well, first, we get in there. Then I?ll tell you all about it.?

Kami shook his head. ?Fuck that, we?ll be overwhelmed. There?s another wave coming as it is.?

A quick blast of energy from Uub dispatched them and Reijin shot him a look. ?Thanks.? He turned to Kami. ?Don?t use too much energy. These things seem to be headed after energy trails for some reason.? Kami gave a look of epiphany.

?So again? What?s the plan??

Reijin motioned once more at the door. ?The plan is to get in there, then we?ll take it from there.?

Kami grunted and the three of them fought their way to the doorway not too far from them. The faint smell of cigar smoke still lingered in the air, and they quickly pressed their way down the tunnel. Uub watched the area behind them as he began to explain to Kami what was going on. ?Ok, have you run into any glowing guy during any zombie fights??

The Namekian shot him a look. ?No, not really.?

Reijin sighed. ?Ok, well, basically there is this battle to decide the fate of the world. The guy that was in the middle of the arena fighting Trunks and Vejita and his daughter? That horned demon guy was Satan. Apparently whatever they discovered on this planet, it opened some form of gateway to Hell and now we have the dead walking the area.?

Kami nodded. ?Easy enough to believe, after what I?ve seen.?

?When there is no more room in Hell, the death shall inherit the Earth?? Uub trailed off, as if he had read it somewhere before.

Reijin nodded. ?Yeah, something like that. Except we are on an asteroid for some fucked up game show. Brim caused all of this.?

?So how did you find this out?? Kami questioned them.

?The glowing figure I told you about? Well, his name is Gabriel. In fact, he?s an angel. So what we are hoping to do is to find his ass after he simply faded away. It seems that he knows something about how to completely ruin Brim?s plans, though I?m not sure if Brim had ever planned for something like this to happen.? Reijin?s reply was long, but Kami allowed it all to set in.

Finally, the green being spoke up. ?So what are we waiting for??

Reijin?s trademark smirk appeared. ?I knew you?d be up for it.?

?I?m? done, Vegeta.? Rad?s voice rang a sense of confusion within the prince. What did he just say? There?s no way, not now.

?Coward,? Vegeta?s response was something from deep down inside. How could such a worthy adversary want to just up and quit when they were so close to being done. One of them would soon say hello to the other realm, the same place where they had met before to learn the art of fusion together. More than likely, Vegeta would end up going to hell again, some place he wasn?t too fond of.

?Yeah, I am? but not ?cause I don?t? wanna? fight you.? The long haired Saiya-jin moved his extended arm towards the holding area as to point out something. ?You?re daughter?s over there. You know she?s watching us.? Was she? It was true. Vegeta?s eyes took a quick glance over towards the cell, and there she was. The young girl who Vegeta had neglected for so many years was watching him, and caring for him. He spat on the ground reluctantly.

?Good? she?ll? see me kill? you.? With a mouth full of pride, he slowly began to rise, legs trembling tremendously beneath him.

?We?re supposed to be there for them.? Raditzu used the word ?them?, obviously there was some one up there that he cared for as well. ?We?re supposed to be the strong ones. We?re supposed to be the ones they can rely on? not the ones who run off every time we?re needed.? How many times did Bra need her father? Vegeta tried to break it out from his mind, the thoughts of her in trouble, and him not being there to rescue her at night from her various nightmares and ghoulish school antics. What was Vegeta supposed to think? Would he admit that he wasn?t there for her? Or would he change his ways as the prideful royal heir to the throne.

?? coward,? Vegeta repeated. What was he saying? It was if his mouth was now moving without his command. His pride wanted to take over, and not just his mouth, but his whole entire body. In an attempt to stand up even further, his body decided to go into the opposite direction, sagging slowly downward as if weights were steadily being placed onto his shoulders; or was it just the guilt that he felt from never living up to his fatherly duties. ?I?ll prove? once and for all??

?? that you?re stronger than me,? Raditzu interrupted, ?With that borrowed power??

?What?? Vegeta?s eyes widened in surprise. He couldn?t believe what he just heard coming from his rival?s mouth. Him, the prince of Saiya-jins, had just been awoken to a nightmare which had never felt so real. What he spoke was true, no matter how Raditzu knew it, Vegeta was borrowing the power of the ascended Super Saiya-jin. It wasn?t his, he didn?t own it, he never attained it the same way that the Saiya-jin in front of his eyes did. His thought traveled downward into his pocket where the dragonball laid whispering sweet nothings into his fighting blood streams.

?Whatever? I don?t care.? Raditzu stepped backwards, putting a small distance between the two injured warriors. ?We can either stand here and play this little game, or go back to the people that matter and find a way to get them out of this.? Rad shook his head as in agreeing to disagree. ?You don?t like being manipulated anymore than I do, Vegeta. Do you even know what your own children have gone through? Did you even realize that I probably know more about them than you do!? And you?re going to stand there make them suffer even more than they already have?? Was this true? How embarrassing was it that his enemy knew more about his own daughter than he did? The prince wouldn?t listen to it.

?Silence!? Vegeta?s voice rose up to such an extent, as if there was no pain thrashing around within his wounded body. There was nothing more that was needed to said. ?Enough of your preaching.?

?Fine,? Rad shrugged. ?Whatever. Your choice. Strike me down if it means that much to you, but I?m not fighting anymore.? Vegeta gazed into the eyes of Raditzu, as if he was thinking real hard about the decision he was about to make. Both him and Raditzu were now reverted into their normal forms, as their powers had been completely sucked out from them during their heated battle. As much as Vegeta would have loved to just kill Raditzu right then and their, something eased his heart, and prevented him from making the final move.

His mouth opened, air inhaled deep within his lungs, and the words were about to rip out into the open when the lights around him began to flicker. It was the same way as a candle burning so ferociously before burning out into nothingness. Within seconds, the lights were cut off, and the gates to the cell evaporated into thin air.

?What is this?? Vegeta mumbled to himself, gazing sharply around the arena. His eyes scratched at the surface trying to focus into the now lightless room. Suddenly the low groans of familiarity echoed through the dome, and the slow shuffling of feet could be heard appearing from all angles. His head snapped to the left, then to the right. Raditzu was searching as well, and Vegeta returned his look to the warrior. He didn?t say anything, but the few steps that he took backward informed the warrior that it was over. The fighting would stop here, for now.

?Hm?? He grunted as he sensed the demon?s aura somewhere nearby. It was Satan, the demon he had fought within the town hall only so many hours ago. The beast that taunted him as if he were nothing was approaching. This time Vegeta wouldn?t let him escape. But what happened next was the fire to his gunpowder. Satan began to pound hard into his daughter, not caring about just how young this female was, he tore into her face like a pillow of feathers. Vegeta?s blood began to boil beyond recognition. With a final kick into her temple, Bra was sent soaring into the air and skidding across the dirt arena. In instinct, Vegeta?s body erupted in rage and shot off towards the demon at such an incredible rate. The pain that thrashed his shoulder seemed to be oblivious to him, and all he could think about was protecting the one thing he?s been neglecting.

"Time for Round 2, you ugly ogre!" Vegeta, filled with the passion to protect his daughter, threw his entire body into the demon?s body, not caring about how much pain he was about to inflict upon himself.. "Nobody fucks with my family!" The Saiya-jin prince hurled his fist downward into the deformed and grossed out jaw.

The blood covered beast looked up at the attacker and smirked as if he was unaffected. "Done?" In a rage of countering, the beast spun around and threw his leg into the prince, sending him hurling forward into the sandy ground.

"I am sick of this GAME!" Vegeta could her his daughter?s voice rise up like the true Saiya-jin female she was. His gaze shifted over to her, watching as he transformed into something of great wonder and magnificence. Her hair rose and flashed a bright sense of golden power, sparking an aura of the same hue completely around her body. A grin appeared on Vegeta?s face as he stumbled back onto his feet. The pain that wrecked through his body returned, and all he could think about was the face of Raditzu. He was undoubtfully the cause of his agony.

Bra rocketed forward towards the demon, both fists closed tightly and aimed directly for his chest. The attack made contact, but little effect. With a little less than slight effort, the beast struck her hard, tossing her back into her father?s arms. He tried to gently nudge her to the side as he retaliated, knowing that there just wasn?t power in his body to continue, he had to at least try. His fist flung forward, but was easily blocked, being returned with his own jab into the jaw that sent a loud popping noise reeling throughout the arena. Screams could be heard from every direction, but they could be differentiated by the prince as another fist collided into his jaw.

But he pain seemed to have subsided. How did this happen? His eyes began to focus and he noticed that Bra was on a full scale assault, but to his dismay, it too had no effect on the beast. Vegeta stumbled backward and fell onto one knee, his shoulder was freshly bleeding again, even more so now than Raditzu?s initial strike.

"Bra!" Vegeta shouted as he watched the beast hurl her forcefully into the ground in front of him. ?You! Be more careful!? He didn?t want to lose her, not after all he?s just been through to protect her.

With a sudden pain into his shoulder, he felt as if a finger was dug hard into it. His mouth gaped open as to let out a roaring scream, but something was dropped into it. It was a senzu bean, but how? Vegeta gazed to his left but the figure was already gone. He knew though, it was Raditzu. His mind could comprehend it though, just after the prince had tried to kill him, his enemy just saved him. Upon chewing the small bean, the wound in his shoulder began to heal at an incredible rate. Vegeta smirked, feeling his body become some what rejuvenated. He would make a mental note to make a reference to Raditzu upon their next meeting.

But what was this? There was something else happening, a new power began to rise with a ferocious capacity. ?Trunks!? Him and Bra called out to his royal bloodline son watching as he erupted into a ball of golden power towards Satan. Vegeta could sense it clear as day, the power that he was witnessing was the same as Raditzu?s. It was the same power that he borrowed from the dragonball hidden deep within his pocket. Trunks had ascended into the next level of Super Saiya-jin. There was no doubt about it, he was in fact a holder of the royal blood, and it ran through his veins.

But something was wrong as he watched Trunks tear apart at Satan with his new found power. A large weight was pushing down on Vegeta, and he immediately knew what it was. Reijin was too close. His nullify ball was tearing away at the power that was aching to be released. He couldn?t do anything at this level. Even at the first stage of Super Saiya-jin, he would make nothing more than singes on the beast, for now Trunks would have to hold him off.

They watched in awe, Trunks began to throw punch after punch, kick after kick, and ki blast after blast into the beast as if there was no end to his enormous power. This was his son, and he was proud to be watching him in action. Vegeta spat on the ground and got into his fighting stance. He knew he had to help, and waited for the right opportunity. Bra appeared as if she was thinking about something at the same point in time, but he couldn?t dwell on it. It was coming up, the time to strike. With every hit, the beast would flinch more and more, and with one final blow, Satan was popped up into the air. Vegeta erupted into a large blast of power, golden aura flaring around his body and making himself a bright flash light within the darkened arena. He dashed forth, arms placed evenly together as if he was charge up an attack. ?Gallet Gun!? But in an instant before he released the blast, he felt the burden quickly lift off of him. Reijin had left, but where? His ally was off on a different escapade. Although Vegeta was curious about Reijin, he knew what he had to do. In a flash, the power of the second level flamed up around his body again, and he sent his gallet gun flaring forwards into the chest of the demon, sending him reeling into the arena wall shattering and detonating the powerful explosion on contact.

Vegeta and Bra however found themselves with a bigger nuisance on their hands. Hundreds of zombies had surrounded them in a blink of an eye. Although they could be easily disposed of, there?s no doubt that they would keep on coming out of nowhere. By the numbers, they piled towards the two fighters, mouth salivating for a bite of living flesh. Behind them, Satan had already begun to recover from their recent attack.

?We can?t focus on these bastards and that demon-thing!!? Bra declared, slamming a blade through the face of another zombie, ?Trunks is gonna need a hand, even with his power!?

?Just keep fighting!? Vegeta hissed out of his heaving lungs. A threw a fist into the head of an opposing zombie, snapping it completely off of it?s shoulders. His daughter grimaced, a snap kick followed by a violent stab dispatched one more, but it seems as if they kept on coming; like there was no end to an ongoing dream of zombies.

?I got an idea!! Dad, could you hold these guys off on your own?? Bra requested as he skillfully dodged and dealt blow after blow. A zombie fell into pieces right before the prince?s feet. Vegeta felt almost offended as he drove a kick into a zombie?s head with enough force to detach it along with the spinal cord.

?Of course I can! Just be quick about your idea!? he replied with a prideful smirk. Vegeta increased his power again and began to deal quicker and more deadly blows on the approaching zombies, knowing that it was up to him to keep them off of Bra as she went forth with her idea. Behind them, Trunks was back fighting neck to neck with Satan. It was no doubt a troublesome task, but he prayed that his son would be able to hold out for just a bit longer.

He threw kick after kick, spinning around like a table top toy twirling in circles throwing his heel into the temple of his surrounding enemies. For some, the blow was so devastating that it completely shattered their skull and allowed for maggots and other rotten bugs to flow freely out of it?s head. Vegeta?s stomach almost began to turn as he watched the bodies just fall apart before him by his own hands. He knew that after this was all done, a nice long shower was the first thing on his agenda. His voice echoed off as he was about to yell for Bra, finding himself completely surrounded by a number of ghouls, but to his surprise, help had already arrived. A beast of questionable proportion appeared in front of him, landing full body on a number of zombies, crushing them under it?s weight. The beast was incredible, like nothing he?s ever seen. *enter Bra?s description here*.

?What in the fuck is that?? Vegeta?s mouth was practically hanging open as he watched this dreadful beast tear apart his enemies as if they were nothing but a child?s play thing.

?Dad!? Bra called out for her father, trying to regain his attention. It was difficult, but Vegeta shook his head to get himself out of the trance, and turned to meet Bra eye to eye.

?We gotta get back to Trunks.? A golden aura reappeared around his daughter and she was already speeding back towards her brother. Vegeta took one last look behind him as her summoned beast made quick work, almost like he was a chef cooking his most prized dinner for important guests. He grunted, and blasted off towards Trunks. As he got there, he noticed two others, one seemed to be a changeling of a sorts with bluish skin and abnormal green hair. The other was an android no doubt, as he wore the infamous red ribbon tag like the others. It appeared that they had already dealt their own hands against Satan, but apparently to no effect. The beast was still standing, and still swinging. Vegeta and his golden haired daughter landed next to the heavy breathing Trunks. His eyes scanned the warrior up and down; it was his only son standing before him in an ascended state of power.

?Trunks?Bra.? Vegeta began to speak as he slid into his casual fighting position. ?I want you to know something.? His aura began to flare up again higher than ever, almost equaling and surpassing the one of his son?s. ?No matter what happens here,? his right foot dug deep into the sand for a better foot hold, ?I will always?be with you, and be proud of you.? Before he could get a response, Vegeta blasted off towards the beast, as if not wanting to see the reaction of his children, since this was practically the first time he has ever shown any resemblance of love towards them. His focus was back on the demon, and he knew he had to kill him in order to protect his family, something he hasn?t done in his entire life time. But this time it felt different, the blood that boiled with excitement wasn?t fighting for selfishness this time, it was fighting for protection of someone he cared about. Vegeta would risk his life now for another, something that only a few minutes ago, he would never admit to, and perhaps the blame was to be placed on Raditzu for causing this state of mind in the prince.

(Section of Reijin?s post)

?So again? What?s the plan?? Kami asked

Reijin motioned once more at the door. ?The plan is to get in there, and then we?ll take it from there.?

(End Section of Rei?s Post, Where Mine Begins)

Dead flesh, decaying organs, freshly smeared blood and moaning bodies. ?Jesus?not even Brim?s staff is safe from these monsters.? Uub panted as the trio bounded down the death infested tunnel. Screams of fear and agony echoed from further ahead, the low hum of grunting from the living dead could be heard as they tore into warm flesh and relished in the warmth of red blood. Their quest to satisfy their never ending hunger drove them into frenzy.

?God, these people are being ravaged.? Uub spat rage coursing through his body as he sped towards the end of the tunnel. The sight that caught his eyes almost made the battle hardened warrior vomit. Countless people lay grasping stumped limbs, their life force seeping onto the crimson stained cement floor. Hundreds of Zombies feasted, a sort of undead orgy upon the living that left their partners maimed and infected adding to their numbers.

?Their already doomed.? Kami pointed out, a long green finger pointed towards one of the countless dead bodies springing back into animation. ?We would be fighting a losing battle if we tried to save them.?

Reijin nodded as he placed a hand on Uub?s black armored shoulder. ?This way, there?s a maintenance door here.? Nodding reluctantly Uub followed the two as a mob of freshly resurrected dead clawed their way towards the trio.

?Come on open damn you!? Reijin strained against the door but to no avail.

?You know any day now would be nice!? Kami roared as the mass of undead sensing the fresh flesh and warm blood made their way into the tunnel towards the maintenance exit.

?The damn thing is locked we need a fucking key card!? the saiyan warrior bashed the reinforced metal door with all his might denting the metal. ?Search the ground maybe one of these bastards dropped a key when they were being maimed.?

Uub grinned as he lifted a blood soaked coat. ?It say?s security on the arm patch.? He grinned as he pulled a card from an interior pocket. ?How fucking convenient it this huh?? he said as he swiped the card in the access port. The door hissed as it slid open.

?Thank the Gods for your luck Boy.? Kami said ushering the two before him into the entrance and closing the door behind him. A dull pounding and moaning could be heard from the other side as they stood there, sweat dripping from their foreheads. ?Not a moment to soon, I really can?t say I wanted to fight those bastards in tight quarters.?

Uub nodded as the scene he had witnessed played before his minds eye once more. ?Me either.? He replied slipping the access card into his belt. ?Might be useful later on.? He said as he looked around to take in his surroundings.

Reijin grinned. ?Scared human?? it was not a joking question or one meant with a snide remark.

?Far from it, just smart about when to fight and when to get my ass out of certain situations, your can respect that.? He replied a level tone in his voice.

?Indeed I can, let?s try and avoid those things as much as possible for now.? Rei suggested continuing down the maintenance passage.

?Agreed.? Kami and Uub said following the raven haired saiyan. ?Let?s see where the hell this leads.?

Hell now that was a funny word when hundreds upon hundreds of corpses lay behind them, blocked only by a reinforced steel security door. Uub almost laughed but thought it wise to continue in silence, scanning the passage ahead for some sign of movement.

?Level 2?? Reijin stopped as a grated screen door blocked their passage, an elevator residing just out of reach. ?Care to do the honors?? he asked Kami as he stepped back.

?With pleasure? the elder Namekian said placing an energy filled hand upon the grate and melting a passage for the three.

?We could have just used the card.? Uub pointed out motioning towards the access swipe. ?But what the fun in that.? He answered himself as both Kami and Reijin gave he reproachful glares. ?Shall we then?? he said walking into the lift.

The three stood crammed together as the door to the elevator hissed shut. ?Jail Cells Level 2? Reijin said as he pressed the button. ?Who knows we might find Gabriel down there, It would not surprise me if Brim somehow captured him and locked him away for being a threat to his precious game.? The saiyan spat in disgust.

?That may be true, but let?s brace ourselves for another encounter with hell.? Kami said, the elevator coming to a halting stop.

Darks became grays which hovered in an inverse abyss about him; though his were wide with a bitter surprise he could tell the condition of his body. Strained only but mentally as the Saiyan genes that coursed the track of his veins lacked him the ability to tire easily. Conditioning had always been his second reasoning past logical thought,

"Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting."

Basking in the glow of battle from the prison box he stood, below the sounds of living death festered in various groves about those maintaining themselves of their own being. It began to grow louder... closer... apparitions appeared in the entry way leading into the cage where the boy stood near the back. Crawling with grasping hands at the essence that sustained him, each step one fell only to be replaced by two making their way up from the behind in an endless onward storm of rotting flesh. Outmatched in number, Goten revoked his stance till the cool metal cell touched against his back. The Saiya-jin was to be crushed against a wall of steel and a wall of flesh, a wavering silence filled his ears as the sound of battle outside went deft to him. Groans now being the only thing that would tell the teen that his current predicament was still at hand.

"If quite unequal in every way, we can flee from him."

Plastered like a wall flower against a fate less desired then death the hybrid remained, the overwhelming population of redeads pressuring him each passing moment like the gentle sway of a clock's hand towards an impending doom. Hope was but a memory. Goten still resided in the space between dream and reality as he attempted to decipher his feelings out correctly, all of this had been too much for him to comprehend even if it had been entirely spelled out for the half human.

Lights above were out, no sign of light, no sign of survival as the only notion for numbers he was against was a guess from the sounds of those approaching him. He currently offered no resistance against the reanimated mob of corpses.

"Let go, let me quench that desire." Peering up over his arms crossed above his face, Goten realized it... he was now knee deep in the swallow of putrid human flesh. Their scent was overpowering, clawing away at the forearms of the Saiya-jin as he fought with himself still, not wanting to give in.

"But there's-" "Now!" A world of color suddenly faded into a dimension of blacks and whites, nothing in between. About him the faces were as clear as daylight and as atrocious as a nightmare induced sleep, but the halfling was awake now... not from a dream back into life, but from life into a dream he controlled.

"If equally matched,"

Flames of white came to life a fury of suppressed magnificent, hindered only by the count of flesh it tore away at from about itself. Goten's muscles tensed as his arms circled a circumference about his body before landing at his right side with hands clasped far enough to offer a small space in between.
"Ka... Me..." A flash lit up the surroundings for a brief moment, hundreds of dead patrons had called themselves to head off any chance of the Saiya-jin youth's survival.
"Ka... Me..." The space between Goten's opened palms became filled with an ivory blue color, tinted about the outside with an aqua that defined the inner color to a point of beauty. In a kick forward, the boy took up extra space by plunging his left leg into the swarming dead who bowed to feed only realizing the task to be impossible from the waves of coursing energy lifting from every pour of the Saiya-jin youth's skin.

"we can offer battle;"

"HA!!"

Outside throughout the dome the solitary word of survival rang forth as a carol of determination to live. A piercing light the size of a dime darted through the center masses plaguing the opening to the prison, growing in size till a stream of power flowed freely out from the cage without slowing by the disintegrating skin and bone that filtered through it. A second fell where there was no movement inside the darkness that resided within the holding pen...

Inside, Goten had reverted down into a state where he dwelled between strength and possibility. His movements had been fluent, placing a hand in front of his body as his legs kicked up against the now heated metal wall behind him. Giving one swift push, the hybrid shot himself flying into the air and out of the small cramped battlegrounds he had been imprisoned within.

Time itself seem to only live in touches of minutes and hours as the Saiya-jin youth's flight appeared in his mind to have lasted ages before emerging out into the wider domed arena. Turning about in mid flight as his body kicked itself out of the current position it was in and down into a fall, landing among the man slaughtered gore that was the current episode of FoFII. They had begun, reeking forth from where they were tossed either without a limb or legs to take them to their meal, these zombies were relentless. Battle had now become a trickling creek... the undeads, they were stones... the boy warrior, his strikes the gentle fury that was the water.

Bending forward as if swaying with the wind, Goten's right hook came about to catch the lower jaw of a blood soaked being hard enough to toss the bone out in the direction the punch had flown. Contact bringing the boy's hand open into a grasp that took up the neck of a nearby animated body, holding tightly as his body spun about to toss the creature into the waves approaching the location of his resistance. Inertia dictating his next attack as one leg began to lift; spinning his heel through the gunk of flesh at his feet before the Saiya-jin became airborne, bringing around his foot to deliver a swift bash against the side of a redead's side. Landing was slick, unfortunately, as he touched down still with a momentum driving his body. All about him they still closed in... Some outside his group were dragging the deceased dead out, devouring them for sentience.

There was but sparring time as he drew closer to the fate he had narrowly avoided before, drawing his arms in as his legs spread into a power stance beneath him. Within a matter of seconds an azure green force field enveloped his form, from inside his eyes raised to see they had begun piling themselves about in a frenzy to penetrate the inner most pieces of the boy's defenses... trapped... It began again, this time as a tingle in his spine that creeped it's way up along his bone track and into the back of his head. Interpreting his ways of combat, giving realization of his condition.

Quickly climbing, the hybrid had began building his ki again, stacking it higher and higher inside the contained space of energy the raven haired youth had created about himself. The outer shell began to crack... running a craves along the entire top half of the guard till it finally gave way in the sound of a shotgun blast. Echoing about the facility while the dead that had been close to the rupture now fell back in pieces, maggots crawling from exposed orifices. Goten withdrew inward again, this time hammering energy against the shielding protecting him from the outside world till it rang out in the chaotic shout again, blasting away the undead society as if frail rag dolls caught in a twister.

"It was Brim," Goten's head tilted to the side as the stern expression remained upon his face, the aura he now casted was alive with a pulsing pale color. There was nothing left for the boy here less the never ending waves of the mortified army they all were facing off against... a pointless battle. Turning now, the hybrid caught sense of something that stood out with the utmost clarity. The map that Raditzu had commandeered from Cell right before the start of all this, there had been a marking to the north of where the military base had been. What made this stand out above all was the fact that his father had resided in a room at his time of death, bleeding from the stomach in a building that Goten remember glimpsing at from the tower. It was a long shot at success that the Saiya-jin could take Brim, never the less find where this structure could be, but if it meant revenging his family...

Another moment would've left the Saiyan half human open for attack, so he began immediately with a turn to his right blaring a powerful ring of strength to clear a path towards the doorway leading out. With nothing in way to intercept the half blood now, he went, darting close to the ground with forearm extended for a quick fending of any oncoming attackers.

Glass shattered and fell from above as the teenager broke through one of the windows looking out on the vast landscape. It was three dozen or so miles back to the tower, which was more then a mere speck on the horizon by the familiar burst of power every now and then reminded the Saiya-jin that the old man still resided above. That had been east of the military base... so, as navigation led him to believe, the strange marking on the map was west from his position. Either way, he'd find it, even if it took him the rest of this damn game show...

?Christ,? Zarbon looked in awe at the battle before him. ?This is fucking insane.? All around him, warriors were fighting the conflict of their lives. Zombies shrouded them all like a fog, consuming even the greatest and bringing them down, clawing all over them to get a taste of their juicy flesh. As for the transformer and Twenty, they weren?t doing well either, even with super powerful fighters by their side. They had three warriors pumped full of energy: all super saiyans, all amongst the supreme soldiers you hear about in legend. Their style was amazing, the way they fought indescribable, and yet even they were having trouble. The mutant had a look of worry on his face; intermix with strain and the pain he was constantly receiving from who he was fighting: the murderer of Krillin. Satan the Ogre. His worry came from the thought that they couldn?t win. Even with all this power, they were steadily losing ground in this battle, and soon they would be just like their human friend: skewered and dead.

Zarbon watched his robotic friend pound the monster?s leg for a moment before he joined in, grabbing his hand to yet again make the connection that had kept them alive in this fight so far. The transformer plowed a kick into the back of the beast?s knee as Dr. Gero did it exactly the same in the front. It wobbled, but none much else. The twosome frowned at their failure to do any damage: yet again. This fight had gone the same the whole time; Satan was far too powerful for them to comprehend. The transformer was actually afraid Twenty might overload his circuits from the amount of pressure being put on his systems.

Even after another failed attempt, the two continued onward with their determination and their memory of their friend in mind. The spilt from each other and raced up the side of the ogre, pelting him with Ki blasts and assorting blows. Once again no effect: frustrated, they stopped around the shoulder area before going back down to the ground, holding their knees. Zarbon and the android panted. The transformer was exhausted from all of this fighting: the ogre was clearly out of his league, but still attempted to his normal strength: for survival and for his friends. Gero was obviously having the same thoughts.

?Damnit!? The android shouted in rage. ?We can?t beat this guy down no matter how hard we try! I mean, if those guys can?t beat the bastard down, how can we?? Twenty pointed over to the saiyans, who were still combating Satan with massive attacks with great amounts of power. ?I mean, look at them, they have enormous power levels!?

?I know! I know!? Zarbon yelled back, he agreed with the android completely. ?We are basically screwed, I know that alright!? We just need a plan, and then maybe we can take this guy down. Look, he is distracted those super-powered freaks, maybe we can figure something out quick! Twenty, you?re the one with the big brain, think of something!? The transformer was actually panicking over what was happening. He didn?t want to die again. Hell was dreadfully boring to him, and he most indefinitely did not want to go back to see Yemma again. He grabbed Gero and shook him wildly.

?Well, I?m sure I can come up with something. Lets see here?? The android put a hand to his chin until suddenly Zarbon heard moans coming from behind them. He had forgotten about the zombies! He turned to see a large group of undead staggering their way towards them.

?I?ll handle this. Keep thinking brainy.? Zarbon smirked and ran into the enemies to beat them to bits. He was soon amongst them and pounded one to bits before turning around to rip another?s head off. The rotting flesh covered his hand. Disgusted, he threw the skull away quickly and it passed through three bodies before it hit the ground along with the corpses. As he did this, a brute snuck up behind the transformer and pounced on him, but right before he landed, he was destroyed by a cannn. The beam came from Vegeta.

?You! Watch your ass! I don?t have time to babysit!? The super saiyan shouted at Zarbon, shocking him with his powerful voice. The transformer calmed down after he knew it was from a friendly person. He let out a sigh of relief and defeated the rest of the monsters that had attacked him. After doing this, he turned and ran back to Twenty who was actually waiting there.

?I owe the powerhouses now. Come up with a way we can help yet?? Zarbon said as we sprinted over to the scientist. He really meant what he said. If there was one thing the mutant kept, it was his honour. ?We need one now, before someone is ploughed over.?

?Right, right. You know those bullfights in Spain?? Twenty put on his intellectual face. ?I will get him mad and rush him by me. Then, you get on him and ride that bull for awhile. Be a beacon. The zombies will want your flesh. They will get on Satan and claw their way up to you. This will distract the bastard and hopefully kill some zombies. I?ll help those saiyans pound this son of a bitch into the ground.?

?Got it. Let?s avenge him!? They high-fived each other and ran in opposite directions. Zarbon didn?t see what the android was doing from there. The transformer raced over the beast?s leg and jumped onto it, climbing up the giant?s heel just as he had done with Kaiol. He clutched the fur in his hands and flipped into the air for a boost before shooting up into wondrous flight. The manoeuvre was executed perfectly. The mutant rocketed into the air and up to the shoulder, pelting Ki blasts into Satan?s massive neck muscles, afterwards firing his signature Ki cannon at his back.

?That should hold his attention for five seconds.? Zarbon thought quickly and looked back to Twenty. He was already near the superpowers and explaining their plan. ?Perfect.? The transformer landed on Satan?s right shoulder and avoided the monster?s attempts to swat him away. As soon as he had planted his feet on the creature he waved his arms in the air and shouted: ?Hey Zombies! Want some nice fresh flesh? It?s free and nice and juicy. Look at these nice tasty muscles!?

The undead swarmed immediately. They leapt onto Satan and began to race towards their prize.

?Get off me you fools!? The ogre shouted in rage and tried to get the weak zombie off of him. His attempts failed. The sheer perfection of Zarbon?s body made them carve it. They shrouded Satan like edger beavers, and now the ogre was distracted.

?Alright people! He has no defence now! Take him!? The transformer yelled down to them as he shot off an undead beast that got close to his leg. ?He can?t fight back with all these creepy-crawlies crawling all over him! Now go!?

OOC: For Krillin! We did something! Huzzah!

The elevator doors slid open with a cold metallic hiss. The long hallway was vacant except for blue lights basking the hallway with their color running along the floor.

"I thought the power was out." Uub said. They all ran out of the elevator, making their way down the sterile hallway of the detention level.

"They must have back up generators on this floor." Kami spoke, as they continued through the hallway which resonated with their footsteps.

"How about we get a cool nickname...like The Three Amigos! Or maybe The Amazing Trio!" Uub tried to ease the situation a little, but nobody else was in the mood for a little laughfter.

Reijin blew past yet another door in a long series of doors in this damnedable hallway. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. The doors blurred past as he picked up speed. Nothing. Nothing. White light. Nothing. Nothing.

He stopped in his tracks. Kami leapt over him to avoid crashing into his back. Uub slid under his feet. It looked like a rejected Power Rangers stunt team entrance.

Kami spun around, obviously Reijin had seen something. The sayjin jogged back over to the door which he had seen the light from.

"I think this is it." he said. Then he looked around for a way to open the door. "I suggest we try that card you have Uub." he said.

Uub pulled out the card and tried swiping it, there was a beeping noise, but none of the three were sure what had actually happened.

"We can always tear it off the hinges." Kami said. He had come to find that smashing things was one hell of a stress reliever, and made a mental note that he needed to smash some stuff when he got out of here so that he wouldn't have a coronary. "So what do we do now? Is this even the right room?"

OOC: Sorry it's so short...I don't know what to do and feel like you guys have a better idea about it.

EVENT

"Arrrg!"

The foul smelling horned beast could feel his entire army turn against him, wanting nothing but the taste of flesh between their rotten teeth. With only seconds to react, Satan spun about, feeling Zarbon on him. The transformer accidently slipped, flying into several of the zombies.

"This isn't over!" Satan pointed towards the Vegeta family, all supercharged. He then turned around and ran. Before anyone could stop him, he vanished in a blazing ball of fire. The rest of the army vanished with him.

Around that time, the power in the dome came on. Those who stayed in the dome looked around, and had to decide what to do now.

----

"Looks like someone turned the power on," Kami noted as they stepped into the room. It looked like an important conference room, only nobody was in it. "Looks like Brim and his lackeys fled the scene."

"Think something went wrong?" Uub asked, looking around.

Reijin, however, was looking elsewhere. "Check this out," he told them. He picked up the peice of a paper he was examining. It was a map. But different. "Looks like the map Vegeta had. But this has some extra locations."

(Reijin is now in control of a master map. Every location listed in the stickied thread is on this map)

"Watcha think, Pop?"

"Stumpy?" was all Bardock could managed, startled and a bit taken aback that his son had actually addressed him. Hearing Raditzu actually say the word 'Dad,' and then taking it back almost immediately by following after with his father's true name, had stolen any hope of this venture being any different than their last romps.

"I mean Brim," Rad corrected.

"Makes sense, sure. This would be the place to look for him, too," Bar answered, shrugging mildly. He wasn't really interested in Brim. His mind had been elsewhere before being spoken to.

"Perfect," his eldest son smirked.

Bardock glanced about. The ones who walked beside him had changed so many times over the course of the game. He was now in the company of Raditzu, Eighteen, and another man with silver eyes and flaming orange hair. By his dress, and the supplemental fact that he smoked cigars, Bardock could have guessed he was some kind of space pirate. He'd seen enough creatures over his travels to be somewhat accurate in one's profession.

"Where'd you get those eyes?" the saiyan inquired. The strange man observed him, no doubt mentally making the connection between Bardock and Raditzu. Although, like the saiyan, he did this using his nose, which was unusual. The black-haired fighter's tail twitched of its own volition.

"They're a perk," the other answered roughly, not returning the gaze. Then he chuckled in that same guttural tone before letting it soften to a smoother, accented voice. "Doesn't come without a price."

Then he turned towards Bardock and bared his teeth, revealing a pair of pearly white fangs that glimmered almost anxiously in the darkness. How disturbing. Bardock wouldn't have figured this man for a demon, and still wasn't quite sure that's what he was. Regardless, elongated canines were only for two things, neither of which were pleasant: sucking blood, or rending flesh. Judging from the expression and the way those silver eyes bored into his own, Bardock was only left with one possibility. His face turned dark and serious.

"There ain't no free lunch."

"Idn't that the truth," the other sighed. Bardock didn't even know his name.

The saiyan looked away, resuming his previous thoughts. All hell had broken loose in their cell when the power had gone out, those damned zombies wreaking havoc once more. Bardock had thought himself rid of them once he and Katel...

Katel...

He wondered what had happened to her. Had she saved her sister? When they'd all been teleported to the prison, the beauty's help had been ripped from her sides. Bardock had confidence in her ability to go it alone, but this was a world where anything could happen. Brim had snatched her once, and he could do it again. Or worse, he could command Akira to engineer her own sister's demise. It was a horrible thought, but nonetheless a possibility to be considered. What was he supposed to do? He was helpless to assist her, as he was clueless as to her whereabouts and current status. The worst thing in the world would be that she had once more fallen under the producer's cruel sway.

And things had happened so quickly, Bardock had not had an opportunity to return to Goten. He hoped his grandson was still in the game, and not suffering some grotesque monster's wrath. And the kid...what had happened to him? Raditzu had rushed him away before being able to find Burter Junior. Bardock ground his teeth together in agitation. Had they been in danger, they would have called him. Goten was a saiyan, and able to hold his own, and BJ had Yamu. And Bebi. Had either self-proclaimed charges been in peril, they would have called him. Unless they didn't take him seriously...unless they didn't care...unless they didn't need him. The fighter sighed inwardly. He wasn't adept at this. Why try? He should just go back to the way he was. Who would ever want him, of all people?

"DEFENSE SYSTEMS ACTIVE."

The warning blared overhead on the intercom system, alerting the group that they had been discovered. What else was new? Brim had eyes everywhere.

"Whoa...wait a minute," Raditzu said abruptly. "Where'd that come from?"

Not too long afterwards, he continued, relishing the sudden thought of being able to let loose on Brim's property. "Skip to the climax. What do I get to break?"

Bardock was so sick and tired of this. He wanted his revenge, and then everything could proceed as it may. He had been thrust aside for the last time. The others were all alert, Android 18 halting her journey through the winding corridors.

Suddenly, the floor before them seemed to melt and give way to a rising presence. This was kind of weird. A hulking body slowly rose, the material the floor had regressed to sliding off of its figure to resume a solid place in the construction. Massive arms were folded across a barrel chest, a threatening pose. It appeared humanoid, but there was a deep intellect lurking beneath its face. The pirate-demon's eyes opened wide with surprise, recognition flickering amongst the glittery gray.

"You--" he gaped, taking a step back in obvious disbelief.

Hearing the solitary word, the rest of them became aware of this looming presence.

"Yes," it laughed harshly. "Me. You've grown, Jacky boy."

Jack? That was the orange-haired man's name?

"It can't be...I killed you...I..."

Jack was frozen, completely stupefied, seemingly to the saiyan as being on the verge of panic.

"Don't flatter yourself. I'm not dead."

The gargantuan arms unfolded, and the beast started towards them with a single step. A word was muttered under his breath, its precise sound lost upon their ears, and an inferno of purple fire burst from his body. "The farthest from it."

"What...the...FUCK!" Bardock screamed, angry beyond the expression of words. Here was another person's business being shoved into his face. He was so sick of catering to everyone else's grudges, every vendetta, every oath, every bitter encounter, every haunting shadow of memory. The saiyan was sick of waiting for his turn. He'd passed up his first chance, and now he was going to assert a second, without sacrifice this time. The last barrier of his patience finally snapped, and he let himself go. Ignoring Jack and this newcomer, the saiyan ignited his own crimson aura, spikes of pure energy flaring around his body, lighting the darkened corridor with its conflagration.

"Take me to him, Brim!!" the warrior hollered at the top of his lungs. "I know you can!! If it's a show you want, I'll give you one! Prove you're better than me Kao or let the whole audience know I'm better than you'll ever be! I know you want to play, so let's play! Come on, Kao! I'M NOT WAITING ANYMOOOOOORE!"

Violent winds erupted from his body, his power accelerating.

"IF YOU DON'T SHOW YOUR FUCKING FACE RIGHT NOW, YOU COWARD, I SWEAR ON MY HONOR AS A SAIYAN I WILL BRING THIS GODDAMNED BUILDING DOWN AROUND ME!!!!!!"

OOC: If that's not a message, I don't know what is.

A hellish roar boomed throughout the dome-shaped arena, echoing off the walls several times before fading from existence. Zombies had swarmed the terrifying ogre, desperate to reach the effeminate turquoise man who fought and dodged about on the monster?s back, managing to prevent him from swatting the man away. The twisted, malformed constitution of the demon whirled about; the force of his twisting body hurling the well-groomed warrior into one of the living dead, casting them both onto the ground with a dull thud. The hellion?s limbs thrashed about mightily, sending zombies hurtling through the air in all directions, freeing him from his own legions of the damned.

?This isn?t over!!? he declared, a clawed finger thrust into the direction of the family Vegeta. With a dissatisfied grunt, the foul creature turned, sprinting away. Trunks launched after him, still consumed by the incredible power he now wielded. Before he could reach the horrible creature, however, searing blasts of fire engulfed the ogre and his undead army. The flames, along with each of the zombies, vanished without a trace.

The horrifying summoned shade crashed into the ground in confusion. It had been leaping at one of the fallen soldiers only a second ago, and now there were no targets for it to attack. The young heiress caught sight of her abomination, still extremely unnerved by it?s incredibly terrifying appearance. Only now did she properly appreciate the avatar?s size; despite standing on four legs, it still remained at about chest height with the girl. It?s overdeveloped muscles were prominently visible, lending more support to the apparent strength of the creature. A forked tongue snaked through it?s razor teeth, testing the air around it. The hybrid took a shocked step backward as the shade approached her, regarding it with an intense apprehension. Grimshaw?s memento, however, merely came to the youth?s side, standing nearly motionless as it awaited it?s next command.

Bra cautiously raised her eyes from the monster and regarded her brother, who fell from his ascended state, his wild hair succumbing to gravity as the brilliant gold shifted in hue to it?s usual purple. Labored breaths heaved from the boy, whose eyes were wide. Trails of perspiration were abundant on Trunks? visage, who appeared to have difficulty adjusting from the wild difference in power levels.

The girl?s own aureate locks returned to their usual cyan, returning to their normal soft, flowing consistency. The jade in her eyes shifted subtly back to the deep azure, and the immense rush of adrenaline that came with ascension failed her. It was always such an exhausting crash for the girl after being so immediately deprived of the naturally occurring chemical, but she knew in the long run that it would be far less taxing on her body than remaining a super saiyan for unnecessary periods of time. Vegeta was the last to descend, though his now dark hair retained it?s rigidity.

Android 20, whom the halfling princess quickly recalled as an ally during the battle for the Earth?s future, helped the handsome teal-skinned man to his feet. The two exchanged words out of earshot before coming nearer to the royal family. Bra took in the others, recognizing a handful of them, Cell in particular, but decided they would come to her should if they wished for any company.

?Hey, Doc!? the petite hybrid greeted, offering a smile of recognition. She waved as the machine, aged in appearance, drew near to the three saiyans. Gero returned the wave with one of his own before making a reply.

?Oh. Bra. This is Zarbon.? the scientist informed, motioning to the alien next to him, ?He?s an associate of mine.?

?Hey.? Bra addressed the turquoise warrior, ?This is my dad,? she continued, hooking her thumb behind her, pointing to her father, ?And that over there,? the girl said, pointing to her sibling, ?Is my brother, Trunks.? A few nods were exchanged as the introductions reached their completion, ?Uh... don?t worry about this monster thing...? the princess fumbled over her words, hesitantly placing a hand on the translucent monstrosity?s head, ?He?s cool.?

A dull series of clanks and bangs sounded in the distance, and moments later, the building?s lighting system came to life, illuminating the sickening battlegrounds they stood in. The bars which had corralled the prisoners flashed into existence once again, though nobody was in the cell anymore. Vegeta growled, breaking the ensuing silence.

?We were searching for a tower when I was teleported.? he explained, folding his arms across his chest, ?Got as far as some mountains before it happened. We found the entrance to a cave...?

?You?re saying we should head there, hm?? it was Zarbon, ?Maybe. But somehow I think that maybe this ?Brim? character ran into some trouble. I don?t think we were supposed to have been released from that cell... at least not yet.?

?Well. We?re here now, and we know that these... zombies... were stored somewhere beyond the passages that lead into this arena. This building could very well be connected to some sort of facility or a control station.? the android hypothesized, his cold eyes obviously not focused on what he was looking at. Bra surmised that Gero must have been deep in though while he spoke.

?So let?s look around, then.? she interjected, ?Maybe we?ll get a chance to fuck Brim up while we?re here.? the girl turned her head to the side and spat, a sense of disgust for the executive swelling up within her.

?Somehow I doubt it. But if he had to leave in a hurry, there?s simply no way they could have covered their tracks as well as they?ve been doing so far.? the mechanized scientist answered, doing his best to shed as much light as he could.

?Fine. Since we?re here anyway.? the prince finally voiced his opinion, ?This had better not be a waste of my time.?

?Uh... so where to?? the cyan haired girl quickly inquired, trying to steer the conversation away from an argument with her father, which she knew could swiftly escalate out of control. Zarbon seemed to shrug the threat off, stepping forward as his eyes scanned over the available corridors.

?Obviously, it?s that one.? he calmly explained, raising his index finger at one of the smaller halls which had ?Authorized Personnel Only? stenciled above the mouth of the corridor, ?But, of course, those energy bars are blocking our way.?

The thin, green, snaking pillars of energy separated the arena from the halls. But these were flickering wildly, as if a source of electricity was straining to maintain them. The group of five quickly took notice, and broke into a sprint, forming a semicircle around the mouth of the hall. In random bursts, the bars would flash in and out of existence, like a flickering neon sign. This was just about as annoying, too.

?Damn this infernal game!!? the scientist cursed, ?The access panel is just beyond these bars! But we?ll never be able to get through them before they light up and electrocute you. Even worse, actually... they?d impale you.? he shook his head angrily.

?You?ll never get through in time, machine.? Vegeta retorted, crouching slightly as he spoke, ?Before you make assumptions, let me show you what it means to be a saiyan.?

His eyes narrowed and grew devoid of any emotion. Like coals, they burned with focus, his pupils reflecting the phasing glow of green. Bra remarked on his cold, calculating face. Truly, he was a warrior. A feeling of doubt surfaced. He was more of a warrior than she ever could be.

A peal of energy thundered outward, obliterating the cyan haired girl?s train of though. Her father catapulted himself through the entrance, narrowly avoiding the wrath of the bars which flashed into being, narrowly missing the prince?s foot. Vegeta landed and rolled to his feet with a smirk, though it wasn?t visible to the others with his back turned. The saiyan pureblood stepped nearer the control panel, his palm carelessly slapping against the ?Door Release? button. In an instant, the threatening beryl energy vanished completely.

?Shall we?? Vegeta smirked once again as the others - complete with the summoned shadow - passed into the corridor. Footsteps rebounded up and down the hall as they walked. Bra?s thoughts returned to her brother. He?d remained silent since he had surpassed the level of super saiyan. What was he thinking about? She was almost disappointed he wasn?t his usual, reckless self.

That pang of doubt again. Why couldn?t it just leave her be? But this time it didn?t simply fade away. No, of course not. It nagged. Like a terribly annoying noise you tried to ignore, it only got worse. Here she was, with her father and brother, obviously outclassed by either of them. What was the secret behind this new form of ascension, and why only now did it bother her so much that she didn?t have access to it?

Weak!!

A familiar voice. Angry. Bra brought a hand to her temple, feeling the approach of a headache.
"I wasted time and now time doth waste me."

"Looks like someone turned the power on.?

They had been running up tunnels and through doorways and stairways to only find nothing. Reijin had assumed that with some of the rooms being keycard accessible that there was some form of backup generator. He had been looking for it, but then while searching for the glowing figure of Gabriel, he had seen a light shining from a doorway. The first light he had seen in some time. "Looks like Brim and his lackeys fled the scene,? Kami grumbled.

Uub scanned the room, but couldn?t see anything offhand that might be of use. "Think something went wrong?" The room appeared to be some form of a conference room, but what attracted them was that all the lights and power were on in the room.

Reijin, however, was looking elsewhere. "Check this out," he called to them. Lifting his hand, he waved a diagram in the air. "Looks like the map Vejita had. But this has some extra locations."

The others gathered around the Saiyan to see the truth in it. According to this map, they were in Brim?s personal conference room. Reijin was pretty sure that this was a room that they were never to know even existed. Pointing out a few locations on the map, Reijin tried to piece together everywhere that they had been.

?Other than all the normal shit outside of the buildings, it looks like they have some of their personal buildings on here,? the Namekian announced. He jabbed his green finger to the paper. ?Think Brim might have headed to this staff camp??

Reijin shrugged. ?Personally, Brim is not an issue in my eyes, at this moment. I think that he has his hands full trying to get his shit back under control. If we attack Brim at this moment, I?m very sure that we?ll run into nothing more than a large number of guards, while he drops into random secret escapes that even this map and most of his own personnel know nothing about.? He casually fingered another location. ?Here is the storage facility. I think that either the angel could be there, or something else of use. Perhaps equipment or something. Gabriel can take care of Brim, I?m sure of it.?

Uub gave the raven haired youth a glimpse. ?You don?t really think like a normal Saiyan, you know that??

Giving him a side glance, Reijin shrugged. ?It?s a product of training. I didn?t exactly spend my life growing up on Vejita-sei. I have a very strong bond to the Saiyan race, but I?ll be the first to admit that while our race is of course the fiercest and most competent race in the universe, it is also the most headstrong. And from my training, I know that rushing into things without having thought them through can get you killed, regardless of how skillful you are. That is what puts my abilities above that of my opponents.? He flashed his trademark smirk.

The Namekian bypassed the conversation by pulling out a chair casually and taking a seat. ?Just wake me up whenever you guys have come to some form of solution.? Looking more into the situation, the human had a feeling that Reijin wasn?t one to really talk about his past much, or delve into it with just anyone.

?I say that we go to the storage facility. Brim is probably at the staff camp, or some other hideout that even this doesn?t list, and we are already in the production facility, from what I?m seeing,? the Saiyan interrupted his thoughts. Uub saw that he had taken a seat next to the Namekian in the conference room, so he pulled up a chair next to him, turning it around and straddling the backside of it.

?I have no objections.?

Reijin nodded at the human and then turned to Kami. ?You??

The green warrior simply smiled. ?Lead on, Captain.?

?Then its settled. Let?s go.? Reijin stood from his seat and gave the map a good scan while holding his earlobe. After a moment, he smiled, and then rolled the map up, placing it into his vest pocket.

Kami gave him a look. ?What was that all about??

?I was imprinting the map onto my LENS database, just incase something happens to it,? Reijin replied.

The other two fighters nodded, and then Uub spoke up. ?The Three Musketeers??

Reijin?s disgusted look quickly shot down that idea. ?What about the KRU? You know, like Kami-Reijin-Uub? Like it? Yeah, its settled.? He quickly walked towards the door before anyone had a chance to respond.

Uub received another level look from Kami as the Namekian whispered to him, ?That name is nearly as lame as his idea for ?New Vejita?.?

The human shrugged. ?You?ll have to tell me about that one some time. I dunno. Its kinda catchy.?

?Its also not up for debate. Let?s get moving,? the Saiyan?s voice carried throughout the room. The other two sighed, pushing out their chairs and walking towards Reijin.

Uub swiped his keycard through the doorway and bowed as the door slid open. Reijin bowed as well, motioning to Kami. ?Ladies and asexuals first.?

Kami gave him the finger as he stepped into the hallway, listening intently for any sounds from around the building. Hearing nothing, he waved them in. The two warriors joined their third member and then began to walk down the hallway. ?Too bad that map didn?t cover how this building itself is laid out. I?d love to get the hell out of here so we can be on our way,? the Saiyan proclaimed.

?No kidding,? Uub agreed.

Kami looked down the hallway and saw another elevator shaft in the distance. ?What about up and through the roof??

Reijin shrugged. ?Not a bad idea, if we assume that this roof is possible to be blown through.?

Kami beamed. ?Only one way to find out, eh??

The other two nodded, and then began to run down the hallway toward the shaft. Skidding to a halt, they looked both ways around them. There were doors on every direction around them, a few of them strangely half open. Through one of the doors, a faint shuffling could be heard. Reijin motioned to his lips, and then stepped quietly to one of the doors. He peered in and saw a man in a security uniform holding onto his bloody leg. He was locked behind another small door, in a glass room that looked vaguely like some form of recording studio. Reijin turned and looked at the others.

?There is a man here. I really don?t care about his well being, but he might know of a way out of here,? he theorized.

Agreeing, Uub stepped past him pushing open the first door to enter the main room. Upon doing this, the security guard in the second room began to point at them, screaming as he began sliding as far from the doorway as he could, holding up his gun shakily. Reijin saw that his bloody leg was actually severed at the knee, and that most of what had appeared to be leg was nothing more than blood soaked pants ripped at the knee. ?Poor guy?? Uub couldn?t stand to see the man panicking so much for no true reason, and he turned back to the others. ?This guy is apparently terrified for some reason.?

Reijin suddenly slammed his foot into Uub?s chest hard enough to send him reeling across the room. Uub?s eyes opened wide with shock as the Saiyan and the Namekian burst into the room, tearing apart the zombie that had been about to bite Uub. Uub hit the ground next to the glass door, and quickly leapt to his feet, in time to see the headless zombie drop to the floor as his two partners wiped their hands on their clothing. Reijin gave him a level look. ?You can thank me later.? Uub?s retinas were the only warning that Reijin had in his moment of arrogance, and the Saiyan suddenly found another zombie wrapped around his body from behind.

The Saiyan felt the familiar soaking wet feeling of fresh blood cover him from behind, and felt hard undead teeth bite deeply into his shoulder. He yelped in surprise, even breaking his own normally calm composure, and shoved his elbow back, striking the zombie in the gut. The mindless mass didn?t even appear phased by this action, and continue to chew in place. Kami grabbed the creature from behind and pulled on it, managing to pull the creature off of Reijin only by the creature?s arms breaking off, still wrapped around the youthful warrior. Reijin grabbed at the arms and snatched them off, hurling the bloody limbs across the room and spinning around.

The armless creature had twisted around, gnashing its unloving teeth at the green battle hardened warrior hungrily. Kami slammed his forehead into the creature?s own, caving in its skull and dropping it in its place. He looked over to the Saiyan and gave him a thumbs up. ?You ok??

Reijin nodded, pointing at his bite location. ?He didn?t get anything but my armor, so I?m good. I have a feeling that damn thing would have ripped right through my muscle tissue before I could have gotten him off of me.?

Uub jabbed his thumb at the glass door. ?I have a feeling that?s what happened to this guy. He?s scared shitless, and has his pistol out. I guess he holed himself up in there to keep away from those things.?

?Well, lets not keep him waiting. After he tells us what we need to know, he can go back to holing himself?? Reijin jumped as his words were interrupted by the sound of a gunshot. He turned around quickly and saw that the man had put the gun into his own mouth and pulled the trigger. All that was left of the man?s head was his own brain tissue splattered across the wall inside. Reijin gave the new corpse a grave look and announced his opinion with a dry comment. ?There?s always that option, I guess.?

Sighing, Kami pointed back out of the room. ?Think the other rooms are like that as well??

Reijin shook his head. ?I?m pretty sure that most of the zombies came in here to attack that security guard. So unless someone else has attracted their attention?? His voice trailed off and he began to walk of out the room, gingerly stepping over the bloody corpses littering his path. The other two followed, and a quick check of the room revealed that the rooms were indeed empty, albeit littered with the freshly dead.

Uub repeatedly tried to swipe the keycard through the elevator pass code to no avail. Reijin heard him cursing and turned around, walking over to him. ?It says that there is a system malfunction,? he announced his findings.

Kami slid his hands in between the two elevator doors and gave them a look. ?That?s where I come in.? With a strained effort, he slid the two doors apart, then quickly stepped back at the sudden rush of wind from inside the empty shaft. Signaling to the others, he reported to no one in particular. ?There?s no elevator. Just the shaft. The wind is fierce in this thing. I think I see a hole somewhere near the top? There?s no elevator even at the bottom though, and we are only a few floors up.?

Reijin gave an acknowledging grunt. ?Its hydraulics. Most people think that if an elevator were to break that it was crash down into the ground at a hurtling speed, but they are idiots. The elevators run on hydraulics, which keeps them from suddenly dropping if the power goes out.? He gave a flourishing arm wave around them. ?There is a lot of pressure in those systems to keep them from crashing into the ground, and the elevators are not necessarily pulled up by those cords. They are pulled down by them.?

?Ah, I get it. So if those cords were to break, then there is nothing to counteract the air pressure in the hydraulic system and the elevator would rush up at breakneck speed, crashing through the roof,? Uub concluded. The Saiyan nodded, confirming his theory.

Kami crouched down and looked over his shoulder. ?Either way, when you guys are through with your science lesson, feel free to follow me.? A burst of energy surrounded him and he leapt into the shaft, jetting upward. Reijin and Uub leapt in immediately after, the human adding a swan dive to his flourishing entrance, and then they both quickly flew up the elevator shaft with increasing speed. A few floors showed open elevator doors, and once they even saw a man firing his gun repeatedly as three zombies were ripping into him, pulling his intestines out in strings.

Finally, the trio burst out of the elevator shaft at the hole in the roof, ascending into open air and looking down at the large production building below them. They could see the enormous dome, along with the even larger building itself that towered the landscape. They also saw the elevator lying on the side of the tower, hanging only by a piece of metal that had wrapped around a side of the building. Uub quickly burst off towards the elevator and looked inside the structure to find nothing inside. He then rejoined the rest of the group as Reijin pointed off into the distant sunset. ?The storage facility is that way. Those zombies might be crawling this place when that sun sinks below the horizon, so I think we?d better get going.?

Kami gave a toothy smile. ?Boys, we are off to find ourselves an angel.?

As the trio flew through the dusk filled sky it became apparent that Reijin?s hypothesis was indeed correct. Though they had in fact traveled a great distance from the production facility the undead were crawling out from nooks and crannies below them.

?Look at them, mindless killers swarming below us to find the faintest trace of life to devourer.? Uub spoke in a raised voice to be heard over the rushing wind. His companions nodded in response to his statement. Seeing those creatures below triggered his mind back to the production facility. How he had been oblivious of the zombie lurking in the shadows, sneaking up on him to tear into his flesh.

All the signs had been there, each one so clear to him now it made his blood boil. He had been careless, letting his emotions for a fellow human overtake his sense of caution. And what now did he owe Reijin, the one who had saved him from the ruthless attack that would have been sprung upon him.

It was clear the change between the two now, from their fight earlier in FoF to the here and now, both had a new found respect for each other, or at least Uub hoped that was the case. Why else would Reijin have saved him from being bitten? To hold it over his head later on down the line? Certainly not, the saiyan was ruthless but he had his honor.

And finally as his mind raced he found the answer he had been searching for. Reijin was a warrior who looked out for his team, as Uub would look out for his own team, he would have done the same no doubt in his mind. But now he felt a burden upon him, he needed to make up for his stupidity and repay his debt. And he would in time, whenever and however he could.

?So how close are we to the storage facility?? the question broke Uub?s train of thought as Kami?s voice boomed over the rushing wind.

?Not too much farther, let?s step it up.? Reijin ordered his aura flaring with his exertion.

As they flew onward, the ground became a black and grey blur with specks of flame dotting the terrain. ?What?s down there?? Uub questioned as they raced by, their sense of smell picking up the faint aroma of smoke that was reaching to their height in the atmosphere.

?Random buildings, Brim?s staff must have run as far as they could and locked themselves up in those burning buildings, but for all the stupidity in these undead creatures they sure know how to cause destruction.? Was the answer Reijin gave as he studied the map scanned onto his L.E.N.S. scouter.

?Yeah and look?s like there also assaulting the storage facility.? Kami pointed towards the horizon, smoke issued from a large rectangular building about five stories in height.

?You guy?s wanna risk it?? Uub asked excitement filling his voice. ?There?s no telling if they have infiltrated the compound or not.?

Reijin smirked as usual. ?We have no choice, we might find out what we need to know in there, the sooner we find the Angel, the sooner we can clean this mess up and continue this fucking game.?

?Well then it?s settled, lead the way.? Kami said gesturing casually with a long green arm. ?I need to unwind.? He grinned at the saiyan warrior.

"Alright then, let's clean house." Reijin mocked "I bet I'll take the most heads."

Uub shook his head. "I'll take that bet, 500 Zeni say's I score ten more then you."

Reijin fliped him off. "Your on!"

Of course there was no need to worry; Raditzu could always fix himself from any wound of broken bone. All it took was a senzu bean and he was as good as new, yet she had a right to worry. If only he would show some consideration, or let her know what he was thinking. It was always the same routine, run, fight, and try to win. It seemed that perhaps he did care, even just a little. Perhaps most of his brain was muscle, which would answer why he was more for actions than words. It was her own fault for falling in love with such a man, a Saiya-Jin. She didn?t hate him for the way he was, or want to change him; just sometimes a little love in return was needed.

The android didn?t? have time for self reflections, another distraction was interrupting their little event. It was kind of funny; did Brim forget to pay the power bill? The whole dome-like building was enveloped in darkness. The glowing bars that had hurt her a few times were now gone, so the captured warriors leapt from their uncomfortable prison. The darkness was not in their favor. Zombie?s and monsters broke in, most likely planning to make the trapped fighters a meal. 18 turned to slam her fist into an approaching foe, only for it to actually be Raditzu. A little bit of her relished the attack, while she mostly felt sorry. No time or talking, she and the long haired warrior were off toward some corridor. Soon they were a group of four, Bojack and Bardock were welcome of course. The blue skinned fighter seemed well, yet a strange feeling emanated from him. She did not question it, or the way Bardock seemed to contemplating. They each had their own thoughts on this game, she herself wished to just do away with the foul being that was running them around like rats.

?Shit?? She muttered as the defense system activated. Of course, there would be work involved. It was likely that Brim, or Stumpy as Raditzu liked to call him, was somewhere in here. He must have had a great time watching the warriors fight each other to the death, surely a few people were upset that her companion and the Saiya-Jin prince had not finished their fight. Brim would get bad ratings, at this rate, too bad for him. Hopefully they would kill him, put him out of his misery. One thing was for sure, they had to get the annoying collars off. She rubbed at her neck; the annoying device was beginning to chafe her skin. They were simply animals, and unless they could get their shackles off, they could do nothing against their enemy.

It was then that the creature rose from the ground. The floor oozed and dripped room it?s body to reform into a solid state. The walls bent to allow its entry, although it looked like nothing but a beast, there was something more within its eyes. Bojack seemed stunned, and spoke as if flustered. The monster responded intellectually, speaking like some old friend of his. She looked from the orange haired figure, then to the new distraction. Always with the distractions. Bardock broke out in a fury. His crimson aura shoe brightly and he pushed past to face the beast. He cried out a name, as if to call the person, if he were listening. That name was familiar, why?

?What the hell is going on?? Eighteen looked toward Raditzu, the only one not acting strange. ?Why does this creature know Bojack, and why does Kao sound familiar?? Did he know? Or were they both at a loss? ?Let?s just kick the shit out of this creep and find a way to get these collars off; we can?t do anything unless we get them off.? She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. There was no time to waste, Brim could make his next move at any time.

OOC: Yeah, yeah, it's shit but I feel better that I got it done.

"This isn't over!" the monstruous beast roared, pointing his finger at the ascended family of saiya-jins.

The hideous creature known as Satan, the murderer of Krillin, began to flee, sparks of flames rising around it. It looked like he was planning to flee. But Gero wasn't about to let this horrible creature escape that easily... except it wasn't really Gero anymore. The true power of the android was beginning to rear its head, as a single word began to hiss out of the machine's mouth.

"Kill... " he whispered, his voice losing its human resonance, becoming more hollow.

His eyes began to fade, and the bloodlust and rage of his mechanical counterpart began to bubble to the surface as they flashed a dangerous crimson. Already leaping off the ground, his white aura began to flicker into a darker shade as he pursued the indomitable monstrosity. However, before the android reached his target, Satan vanished into a ball of flame, his army of the undead vanishing with him.

The android slowed to a halt in midair, as he slowly began to regain consciousness of himself. The red rage that had begun to fill his eyes sank back down and his power level leveled out as well. Just as his feet touched the ground, the lights turned on.

"What the... what happened?" Gero thought to himself, completely unaware that his power level had just skyrocketed beyond anything he had ever experience before. "Twenty, did you notice anything?"

"Oh man my head... I feel like I just fucking exploded in here. What the hell did you do?" Android 20 grumbled in response, the machine also unaware that it had been his power that had just coursed through them.

Zarbon had already pulled himself back onto his feet, and was strutting over to Gero, looking both pleased with himself for making the beast so irritated, and also a bit upset that it had gotten away. Nodding to Zarbon, he turned to saiyan family, their supercharged states slowly diminishing.

(Insert Bra's Post)

"That arrogant monkey... thinking his organic body to be stronger than a machine? He'll get his in due time..." Android 20 growled in the recesses of his mind.

"Quiet, Twenty. These are allies, not something you should try to Hulk-smash." Gero hushed his robotic half.

Meeting the powerful demi-saiyan, Bra, again was a bit comforting to the aged mechanoid. Having fought the girl once before, he had had the misfortune of experiencing her power first-hand. Then, having seen both her father and her brother, Trunks, ascend into similar states, and possibly even beyond from what Gero could sense, made him feel like this saiyan family was all but immortal.

Once the group had all passed over the threshold of the doorway, they were confronted with a long, narrow hallway. Completely white, with no markings whatsoever, it looked very much like a clean room from a biochemisty laboratory. A single doorway stood at the opposite end, looking very plain and unassuming. Gero was busy gawking at the room, something in his mind just telling him that everything wasn't as it seemed.

"Come on people, let's move along." came the harsh voice of the oldest saiya-jin.

Shrugging it off, the android decided to follow the group. He doubted that Brim could have possibly had set up any defenses for this place after his hasty escape. However, what the scientist forgot to factor in was the possibility of an automated defense system.

A series of electrical pulses echoed towards the machine's mind, seeming to reverberate from both sides of the hallway. Before he could alert the others to what he felt fast approaching, the door at the end of the hallway began to slowly fade away.

"It's a trap!" came the voice of the half-saiyan girl.

Two apertures began to open on the walls near the end of the hallway, each growing larger and larger. The android could feel more and more electrical pulsations racing around him, and he knew this wasn't going to end well.

Then, everything fell quiet. A near unnoticable shuffling noise came from both holes, growing louder and louder with each passing second. Finally, something poked its head out of the wall.

A pair of metallic pointy ears adorned its cranium which was also sleek and metallic looking. A pair of glowing blue eyes stared out at the group of fighters, and then... meowed?

"You have got to be kidding me." Android 20 groaned exasperatedly. "It's a fucking robot cat."

But then, a massive metallic body began to slink out of the hallway. It slowly turned to face them, it's blue eyes still glimmering playfully at them. Gero's jaw dropped. The very demented looking mechanical kitten was armed from head to toe with the largest assortment of weaponry he had ever seen. The feline war blinked, and then even more suprisingly, spoke.

"State your identification." it stated plainly.

OOC: If you don't want to even rp this happening, that's fine by me. I just have no creative spark right now. Take it and run with it if you want, or just drop it. Basically, either try and tell it the right password I guess, or just get straight to the fighting. I don't know >.<

(OOC: Yajirobe?s post preceded this round, or at least that?s how I?m going to explain it since he ignored my first post?)

The temporary team of android and samurai darted towards there growling opponent. Its bared sinew flexed and glistened in the moonlight. Seventeen rolled out of the way of their rampaging foe, but Yajirobe, unable to see as well as the android in the fading moonlight, was struck by the charging monster. The samurai managed to roll back onto his hands and push straight into the air. Turning slowly, the bizarre creature glared at its new target?Android Seventeen. The machine-hybrid backed away cautiously as the enormous monster started walking towards him. Not sure whether or not to be intimidated or unimpressed by the mutant?s movements, the cybernetic warrior continued to back away.

[i]It?s going to attack! [/u] The familiar voice filled Seventeen?s head, but it wasn?t the female voice he was used to. Rough and gravelly, it took the android a few moments to realize that the samurai was transmitting words to him telepathically; however, even with the warning, the machine-hybrid was unable to react in time. Dashing forward, the monster?s massive fist drove the android straight to the ground. Yajirobe lunged on the creature?s back, but he was quickly thrown into the air. Seventeen exploded off the ground as the mutant went to attack Yajirobe once again. The machine-hybrid?s surprise strike knocked the creature from the sky and back to the earth. With a guttural shriek, the monster started to convulse and bleed. Underneath its skin, bones and underlying tissue were shifting and expanding. The mutant?s flesh began to solidify as its bared sinew was covered in a dense layer of black tissue.

Small spikes began to poke up through the fresh layer of tissue as the monster slowly stood up. Three long claws broke free near the creature?s right wrist, completely overtaking its powerful fist. Android Seventeen and Yajirobe started to back away as their opponent stopped twitching. With a silent stare, the black behemoth started to unhurriedly make its way towards them.

?Any ideas?? Yajirobe asked to his temporary partner, but the machine-hybrid just smiled and laughed.

?We could always run away, but what?s the fun it that?? With that final word, the two warriors lunged forward, prepared to go another round with the mutating monstrosity.

OOC: Sorry boys and girls, this is all I could whip up with the time I had.
