Something you all need to realize

Police officers and firemen arent superheroes, and they perform unselfish acts every day. Its their job. Therefore, Batman isnt a superhero.

However, his feats of defeating super-villains/superheroes deffinently class him among superheroes. He once 'killed' the entire Justice League. Kami could probably iterate on that better than I can... only saw the cover. >_>

They are heros for exaple: If Vegetas baby child would be in a burning house and a firefighter would sav him...What woukd you Vegeta say that the firefighter is?

I'd say a hero..

Batman does not use only gadjets. He also has his martial arts skills and his genius mind. Also, if Batman is not a SUPER hero because he has no powers... then Joker is not really a SUPER villain becuase he does not have powers either, I think. Just trying to prove a point, since the Joker has been known to be one of the best SUPER villans of all time.

Face it - any real superhero, would throttle him.

The beatdown he would recieve from the Daredevil would definitely be a fight worth seeing.

You obviosly havent read the amalgam: Marvel and DC collaboration...you sad fool...you know bullseye the guy who thinks he never misses but when he does always says "What!? I never miss!" well bullseye takes up multiple comics having trouble beating him and Batman knocks him out in one punch....Bulseye even says in the comic "Wow, you hit a lot harde than Daredevil." i beleive those are his words exactly soo.. Batman rules and although he isnt super hero is has been argued that he was super human due to his strength, speed, and brilliant mind.

Dont take to heart any Amalgam. Its all fanboy fodder.

Joker is immune to that laughing gas he concocted. Considering that shit is fatal, I would have to say that is a superpower. The Joker is a supervillain... now The Riddler? No.

Amalgam isnt fanboy its DC and marvel official collabo dey did it bcuz comic sales were really down so they figured try it out and it didnt work out too good but dey made decent money of it.

Joker is immune to the gas bcuz he he concocted it first of all and he's already feeling the effects since b4 he concocted it so he was immune to it by the time he added the fatality factor and the Riddler...is just an example of DC's bad imaginative skills back in the day lol

No..in their job description it doesnt tell them they have to do these things thats why not all of them do it..those people are a fine example of heroism and if you don't beleiive so its because you either have a mental disorder or you just cant compaare to them so you try to make it seem like its nothing to make yourself feel better every morning.

You think the guys who charge into flaming buildings -aren't- heros? Yes, it's their job, but how many of them -had- to be firemen? None. They chose to do it.

Can you say you've ever saved someone's life, or worked with a guy who gave his own life trying to save another one?

Please.

I posted that in response to recoome i didnt see that you posted until i just saw there was a new post so...and me patriotic...thats the farthest from the truth.. i hate this country and every other country for the fact that its not run the way it should be Big Grin i just want their self-sacrafices to be acknowledge and not thrown to the side bcuz their still doing there job and like i siad not all of them do, so you didnt read it right i guess brother! and your right i cant call them all heros because all of their lives dont demand them to be at dangerous scenes protecting, and saving people they dont know.

Edit: Bra is right!

No I don't have a mental disorder and I am not comparing myself to them. Not everyone is the same you know! You are just blindly calling them heroes because its "patriotic" to you. I am not trying to take anything away from them, it was brave but you can't call everyone thats doing their job a hero either....

I don't even live in America...how can that be patriotic. Okay let me rephrase it:

"A fireman/policeman who dies trying to rescue people from Ground Zero. That's a hero."

Also, your definition of hero probably is way different than ours.

We didn't say super-hero.

Heroes are people who do extraordinary things to help people.

By extraordinary I mean things that means they risk their lives.

Remember, they can back away if they want, but they don't.

And think about it...if you were a police-man would you work because you're forced to, because you 'need to do what you're paid for'? Or would you do it to help people?

Batman's speed, strenght and overall skills are much better than any normal human. In my opinion he is a true superhero because he earned all his abilities by training intensely whereas superman and co. have "gifts" already and didn't need to gain it naturally..... Tongue

And in response to that yes i agree with the batman thing but there isnt really a need to make the others look bad. Although it doesnt tke to much bravery to jump into a burning building, or gunfight when you're bulletproof, superfast, have a alien ring, are a martian that can control minds and phase, and are a themyscarian princess Big Grin

Pedro Alonso Lopez killed over 300 people in the 70s down in Peru.

EDIT: Thats going beyond 'conventional villainy'. So does that make him a supervillain?
