Yes. Yes it is. Nothing ground breaking but its lovely game to play in the bathroom while your making your tribute to the porcelain god. You'll diffidently' like it if your a Castlevania fan. I can't speak for how it stands to the wii one though.

Tyrogue became the base of both Pokemon when it was introduced in Pokemon Gold/Silver Version, basically becoming the 'baby' pokemon of the two. In the case of Tyrogue, evolution was unique as it was based on the Attack and Defense stats and which was superior. Hitmonchan was the defensive superior and Hitmonlee was the offensive superior. When both stats were equal, the balanced Hitmontop was produced. Unlike it's brothers, Hitmontop's name was not based off of any action hero, rather the fact that it could balance on his head and spin not unlike a top.

Hitmonchan, of the three, was the one that could have the most balanced set of type abilities with use of various elemental punches such as Thunder or Fire Punch. These attacks are much weaker than common attacks of their type. Hitmonlee, however, focuses only on Fighting and Normal. Hitmontop is fairly in between, as shown by Bruno's Hitmontop in G/S, which knew Dig and other attacks.

All these Pokemon are weak against Psychic and Flying types, but there are some moves they could learn to counter these weaknesses (Hitmonchan's Ice Punch against a Flying type, Hitmontop or Hitmonlee knowing Protect?, etc).

A unique part of Hitmonlee's attacks are the fact that some of the 'High' kicks, when they miss their mark, can hurt the Hitmonlee.
