What I'm saying is that stat growth can be really flexible and dynamic, and it would be a shame and detrimental to the RPG to leave it as it is. If you just adjust the rules a little bit to make each race more seperate from the others then members will be encouraged to choose a character for their roleplaying identity, which seems to be the direction you're trying to go in
Why is stat growth not flexible right now? As it stands, there's no reason a saiyan can't have high mentals, or a Tsufu can't have high physicals, etc., etc..

and that this would really help out.
Sorry, I didn't catch the suggestion you were making.

What I'm talking about is seperating the races, where each race has its own entire scheme or play style like a tabletop RPG. The way that it's being set up right now feels too linear, with every race having the same stats and the same growth rates, and the only thing that seperates them is their physical appearance and prefabricated abilities.
If that's what you want, I guess I'll shut up.

So you'd like us to make seperate sets of stats for each race?
Growth rate is determined by the player. You can spend points on stats, powerups, abilities, or best moves.
I guess I don't see why you think everything is so linear. We'll actually been going to a lot of trouble to make things as free-form as possible. Frankly, no matter what we do, there are going to be people who just find the fastest way of getting the highest powerlevel no matter what. In that respect, there's only so much we can do to balance while trying to retain the unique feel that we tried to give each of the races.
We tried to give each race different play mechanics. Obviously you think we failed at that. If you'd like, I can go through the races and highlight what I feel are the defining features and unique aspects. That might help.

No, I see what you're doing. A lot of the changes that are happening now are actually the things I asked for when the mental stats were originally given special ability dynamics, and this is pretty much the same response I was given back then. I definately have my own way of seeing things, and I'm pretty aggressive when I discuss them, so don't take it the wrong way :3
I didn't really expect to get too much agreement, because if I did get what I want then the entire system would need to be re-built from the ground up. I'm just planting the seeds of tomorrow.
