EDIT: I can't take off a screen protector without fucking up, I don't fancy my chances of replacing the faceplate. IDK, I guess if I can't find a way to remove it, I'll try getting a new faceplate.
You could also try a mild solvent. I use Citrus based De-Solv-It but you might have trouble finding it. If you can't find anything like Desolvit you can try mixing acetone with water (I'd start with a 50/50 and use less water if the first mix is ineffective) though acetone is fairly powerful and can ruin most plastics! I'd start with just a little soap and water and a clean cloth. Careful on the use of paper towels because they can scratch plastic too. Microfibre is your best bet.
