The huge team battle maps were kinda like that (slow/tactical), but I never played a team slayer or deathmatch game in Halo (3, mind you) that wasn't a brainless-blow-shit-up-a-thon for 8 to 10 minutes.
I'm not talking about how often someone shoots at another player, Jack. I'm talking about movement speed and general pacing of the game. I simply prefer the faster run speed of Unreal Tournament (and how quickly you jump in and out of vehicles) over what feels like a sluggish pace of Halo. Its like the difference in how movement feels when you stop playing City of Heroes and start playing WoW. I remember hating how WoW felt for that, and still prefer leaping high over buildings and all.
