It is very possible they worked in tandem. It's this thing called TEAMWORK, and it's used by people who have friends. For those whom might be new to this idea, it might go something like THIS:
*Log into AIM
Waff: Hey, let's beat the shit out of Rob.
Milk: OK! I look like that chick from Paramore!
Waff: Damn strait you do, now take that fine ass and bomb the shit out of him!
Milk: Hell yes! But only after we cyborz for a little bit.
Waff: Bitch! we have nations to destroy, put it back in your pants for 5 minutes.
Milk: But you're just so hot!
Waff: Ok, but it'll have to be a quicky.

And, at least in the eyes of this reporter, is how it went down.
