The Like/Hate Thread

He was out of line for sure, it's not the first time he's done something like this though. When he interrupted some band that I can't remember, midway through their speech a year or so back after they won an award over him everyone was just like, 'awwww that Kanye, what a character'. But because it's a 19 year old girl suddenly everyone's like, omgz what an assholedivajerkmeanybadperson.

Because too many people, including a coworker of mine, believe all the hype the guy spreads about himself, about how he's a lyrical genius, voice of a generation, college grad degree in playa, etc. Rap artists love to hype themselves up a lot and it amazes me out they are so often just that damn full of themselves openly. I guess one could call that being genuine, but I think its douchery.
