Enjoy your job?

1. What do you do?
I sell building materials at a hardware store. Design plans for decks and framing basements, shit like that.

2. Do you enjoy your job?
Kind of? I guess? It's extremely stressful in the summer, and I get way too many hours during school until the dead of winter - it makes all the other things I need to do (ie: homework, try to have a life) very difficult.

3. Why?/Why not?
It's hard work, which, ultimately, feels more rewarding. When February rolls around and I'm doing nothing all shift, I'm miserable.

4. What did you do before this job?
Assembled hydraulic cylinders at a manufacturing plant. I made excellent money there, but I hated my life at that point. Everything. So I walked off the job and applied to a university. I got accepted so I had to go find a job with more flexible hours so I could actually go to university.

5. Why?
I need the money. I pay my own tuition, I own two cars, and I have to buy the essentials. It's a bit of a crazy balancing act and I rarely have any money I can sock away, which is really too bad (and kind of foolish).

6. Comments?
Uuuuum... I'd rather knock over a bank than work for a living? Or, failing that, win the lottery, I guess. =/
