Some of it is music, but it extends far beyond that. Clothing, cars, personal accessories and physical mannerisms are all things that people have adopted as a result of said movement.
I agree with you, most hip-hop is nothing more than worthless verbal-diarrhea, but I'm not about to say that it hasn't impacted our culture in a significant way.
Yeah, I'm with you on that. I would just hate for it to point out all the 'good' that it's done and leave out the negativity or just be completely lopsided and point out all the negativity and hardly if any of the good...which to me is kind of just...not that much.
