Her ult is almost exactly like Planks so I'm guessing riot is trying to design the pirates to synergize well. Only time can really tell though.

I see it way more like Kennen or Katarina's ultimates. It seems like a solid skill, but I think she'll run into the Nunu problem of "hey that's a lot of damage, let's use a stun or run out of the blatantly defined area of effect."

I was surprised by the spotlight because almost every time people tried to run out of her R by running backwards instead of to the side or forward.
